Youtube says that fraudulent AI deepfake ads don't violate their rules

How bad is this shit going to get? Eventually Youtube is going to be nothing but fake AI videos of celebrities made by pajeets to con morons out of their money. Are YT seriously not going to do anything about this? Do they want their platform to become unusable?

Imagine opening up bot and seeing nothing but advertisement/scam threads because pajeets are running a million GPT bots constantly spamming the site.

AI is going to make the entire internet unusable unless these platforms do something to stop this.

I'm actually already at this point and the answers are

            >Sex, masturbatory degeneracy
            >drugs
            >Reading
            >exercising
            >Literally getting in my car and going for drive to somewhere I've never been and doing something I've never done
            >Go for walks to places I've never been
            >engaging in real life hobbies like instruments, card games, board games, etc
            >spending money recklessly on stupid shit like dirt bikes and learning about them

There's actually a lot to do if you have a bit of disposable income and some time. And honestly, it's better than most of what I would be doing online. I quite literally only use the internet for imageboards and for downloading media.

well, seeing that "bot posts, replies or threads" are seemingly already a thing, I don't see this nightmare being a thing soon either. Boards are already spammed to shit by off topic dog shit and pointless frog and schizo wojak spam

Youtube had been running fake Tesla/Elon livestream scam for nearly a decade without any thing being done by the admins. They love it as it brings them more views.

Youtube scam is encouraged by them.

Elon is the one who can sue those morons but he doesn't care about youtube at all, he cares about his video platforms in X.
People who fall for obvious scams deserve it, literally the channel name gives it away.

      >People who fall for obvious scams deserve it, literally the channel name gives it away.
How long will the scams be obvious for?

One day AI will be so good that you can generate voice and video clips which look/sound 100% identical to a video of a real-life person saying the same thing.

How is anybody going to tell the clips are fake once we reach that point?

Are you blind or moronic? I literally said it on my post. You click the channel and instead of spacex or whatever the oficial channel url is, you see "poojeet123".

Because no matter how realistic it is, the content will still be obvious. Elon Musk would never just give a million dollars away to everyone for no reason.

The reason why its obvious is that they only want dumb victims to follow it, as those are too moronic to fight back in any way. So unless you're a moron, you'll always be safe.

the real issue may be people are getting their accounts hacked to run ads like this, e.g. linustechtips.
other 'fraudulent' ads are greenlit by youtube, like the "make money in foreign exchange", "make money on amazon drop shipping", "make money on real estate", "wonder drug/wonder food", "wonder product", "make money online", "mr. beast guarantees you $1000" etc. ads.

YouTube is having an incredibly bad time financially. That's why they're pushing back against ad blockers and showing more ads per video. Now they're relaxing their ad rules and letting you show literally anything as long as you pay. Google may actually have to kill YouTube in 2024. It's never made money, but it was apparently still viable until now. But things are snowballing.

I'm honestly just not convinced that breaking adblockers will actually pull in a meaningful amount of ad revenue. Adblock users are a tiny minority relative to the absolute hordes of tech illiterate morons that make up their bread and butter, and I'd assume that the median adblock user is also either conscientious or spiteful enough to mute/ignore any ads that are forced on them. I guess maybe they're hoping to sell more premium subscriptions rather than relying on ad sales?

It may be a move to slowly introduce DRM for the web, like the WEI, there would be less pushback if people accept that websites blocking ad blocking is the norm.

jewtube is dying hence they put a war on adblockers like ublocker.
their ai "gemini" is not that impressive and cannot compete on grok or chatgpt plus their toolsets are being gatekept by indians, they are the next Nokia lol.
they should've just focused on their spytech malpractices like back when phones would snoop/record the user all the time which is why android 5+ era devices had HORSESHIT battery life even with project volta since the sensors like frontcamera/mic would always be active, this has been tested by me on several phones though I'm hopefully assuming it was some kind of malware however it wasn't since it gave me ads related to what I tested with yelling "I need [product]" several times nudged google's adsense to that particular unnecessary product so I've confirmed it along with clipboard access violations which only got partially fixed in android 13.
now I know why women don't like men who use android phones since it's a fricking litmus test to one's intelligence and to use android is NO DIFFERENT than a linux distro since you have to fricking fight it to just werk and stop spying.
youtube is also dead, I haven't used the platform though I don't use adblock for it over my phone's, I just stopped caring. they can keep paying their youtube SEO content creators the same buck but that doesn't mean I'll have to give up adblock on PC when ads are literally malware and would grab my clipboard data of my ESR work browser, that shit is suck, just type in "awesome" and watch the youtube go rainbow. it fricking reads what you do on screen. even your mouse clicks and glides are being tracked which is akin to "active authentication" if you read lex fridman's (former google employed) publicly available thesis.
at least nokia didn't do bad shit outside of monopolizing the phone industry with decent products that last 8 years. google/android is the cancer killing the planet literally with its E-waste, locked bootloaders, vulnerabilities

Anyone worshipping celebrities to begin with deserves to be conned. By whom they get fricked over is of no importance.

google search has gone to shit as well with hijacked domains in their sponsored results. i didn't realize how bad it's gotten since i don't see those. it's coming to the point i think i should recommend blocking google inside our organization and using bing instead.

the fact that Youtube doesn't rangeban any moron that tries to use the words tesla, Elon or Doge/bitcoin in ads is beyond me. Surely you'd think Google would be able to come up with an half decent filter system.
