You have literally less than 10 years to get yourself a physical job that AI on a server + one pajeet can't do. Doctor, programmer, lawyer, teacher. All gone. Musician, SFX artist, writer, 3D modeler, 3D animator gone.

You also have less then 30 years to make yourself valuable to the elite once they have humanoid robots doing all the physical tasks or you are stuck in a UBI like a little rat and from that there is no coming back.

Better close the code editor now and start looking for ways to get into plumbing and construction.

        >Make yourself useful to elites once every mental and physical job is automated
Literally impossible. The only jobs that come in mind are ironically jobs we see automated already like art and teaching because people are biased monkeys that will prefer turd from human over masterpiece or masterclass from robot, and this is true for all people regardless of intelligence except for pro-AI cultists. Aside from that it is impossible as a worker. Also, idk if you are implying that AGI capable of performing every intellectual task is 10 years away, but assuming you do it is then funny how you also then assume that the manual jobs will be gone 20 years after that. People heard that our perception of automation is backwards and then lost all reason seemingly, because if you have AGI or just narrow AI that can automate robotics and engineering, it is also AI that can just create perfect robot instantly that would be able to do the manual labour, so less likely be it 20 years after robotics engineers get automated and more like one year following that.

I doubt AGI is coming in the next 10 years, but there is no need.

Shit does not need to be self aware and recursively self upgrading to be useful. Lesser forms of AI can be quite powerful.

Ok, better definition of AGI that people for some reason don’t use:
            >AGI is AI that can perform every cognitive task same or better then top 1% of humans in each task
This one is far better one then the one tards use with self awareness and reproduction as you can make one line code self aware to an extent and make literally any program self replicating. AI that can do everything cognitive that human can is already huge enough.

    >Get physical job before AI takes it over
    Ok
    >Make yourself useful since in 30 years robots will take physical jobs too
So there is no jobs to do. I will rather live comfy neet UBI life. And yes, UBI is coming since most elite jobs will go away and we will likely see 80+ percent job loss while not having tools to kill off the plebs and not being able to just kill the 80 jobless percent. This will inevitably lead to revolution unless elites prematurely cuck themselves with UBI.

Once the robots come, there is no more revolutions. That is the game over stage, as elite stops needing humans to protect them. Robots are the police and the army and you don't stand a chance.

You don’t get it, do you? Assuming you are OP, you still say that most people lose jobs at one point, but not all of them, and that it is the white collar one. We still long time away from having robo police as you said that will come in 30 years, so there is still a time for revolution, and it will happen, people will fight to plot the pie when shit hits the fan. Right now we are still long way from shit hitting the fan, people are still happy, we still need most people to work and people even if debtslaved still work and live in society, thing are still alright and not hitting the fan to cause mass revolution.

It'll be like in Phantom 2040, and arguably like it already is now, where human life becomes so cheap that it's cheaper to have humans lift things, pour things, carry things, and sort things rather than design a robot do it.
The third world will starve to death, while everywhere else becomes the new third world. Tiny islands of very rich humans will live the same rich lifestyle they've enjoyed throughout history.
A small cadre of humans will act as their body guards, and a vast swarm of surveillance machines will monitor and kill anyone that dares to oppose this new global stagnation.
Humans will exist like this for thousands of years, a new human dark age.

Honestly, this is how it is supposed to be; the way it has been for the majority of human history.

          >And you know who will get to plumb that house once he's gone? His son.
why would the rich people do their own manual labor? the elites can sit back and play their social power games. his son's not going to be unclogging his own shit

          >Honestly, this is how it is supposed to be; the way it has been for the majority of human history.

Idk, you have to keep people fed and in simple manual jobs like lifting and pouring stuff it is more precise to have machines do it, as well as cheaper in the long run. Third worlders are better then machines because they can switch operations quickly, while you need to build machines for one task and then wait for them to pay for themselves. If we get universal robots or AI assisted assembly lines that can easily transform, or reach point where we just make the same stuff in bulk for long periods of time, then factory machines will win. Another reason why thirties are largely cheaper is because you cannot build fancy robots in Indian slums. All first world factories are largely automated and will stay automated even if wagies become dirt cheap.

OP's implying, somewhat rationally, that any strictly data driven job will be automated into oblivion long before labor ones because the easiest thing to automate is "shit being punched into a keyboard"

For instance, if you're an electrician, there's just too many little pain in the ass variables to easily truly be automated

Robotics is very hard. Still 50 years from cost effective humanoid multipurpose robot that has solved all the hard problems (none which are related to the AI or the "brain").
AI will accelerate the research and bring that down to maybe about 30 years.

AI that is running on server can't build your house or fix your toilet. It can however do anything and everything that you can do on a machine and can have low wage pajeet as a proxy for real world to do some limited physical tasks.

Can you detect AI music from real music? It is way way harder then AI pictures, so just not tagging it properly is enough to make it fly over your head. You will listen to AI music leaping and non-AI, you have no choice, and you could have stopped this year ago.

    >UBI
How is being paid for nothing a bad thing, though?
Like normally it's about contributing to society, but assuming a societal system in which contribution is actively rendered irrelevant due to technological advances, that point becomes moot.
Then there's pride, but when the choices are "UBI" and "adapting your entire lifestyle to desperately please the elites like a beaten wife" that doesn't hold up either.

      >How is being paid for nothing a bad thing, though?

for the first group who gets it, its fine. the problem is the long term effect of ubi on people's perceptions and their behaviors. When your grandchildren grow up believing money comes directly from the government, they can be convienced to democracy themselves into onions green vats pretty easily.

        Anonymous

I mean, sure. But what's the alternative? If those same hypothetical grandchildren are instead brought up knowing they must constantly appease the elites they'll make equally bad long-term decision if that's what it takes.

This midwit prediction is so tired, the whole scenario is a dragon eating it's own tail, of everything is automated and no one works, nothing gets purchased, the loans taken out for the robots don't get paid, the paper wealth the "elites" hold becomes worthless in the face of the complete evaporation of the world economy and the mobs that follow. If you're going to insist on being a cynical prick then just skip to the killer robots and whether the elites have the balls to use them, even though neutron bombs do the same thing more effectively. No one has a plan for any of this except continuing the slow descent into eating the bugs and watching blackwashed versions of all your favorite movies in israelitetopia forever.
