AI is a program. It requires a programmer.

Yes which is going to cause everyone on earth to laugh their ass off with no mercy because code homosexuals have been getting paid 10x what they're worth for years up until very recently, and were memeing on everybody with "just learn to code bro lol i make 6 figgy after one 2 week bootcamp" Can't wait to see these queers in the bread lines. In before everyone on bot pretends they're in the top 0.5% of the field of Computer Programming and not only will never lose their job but will actually be paid even more because they now are The one guy who now does the work of 1000 using AI tools

doesn’t matter, ZOG will find a reason to import pajeets, asiatics and durkas. Just look at hollywood they don’t even care if it makes sense they just spend the money because to the israelite mind, every penny is worth it if it means killing you.

      this.
people seem to not understand when joyfully talk about jobs they dislike being replaced. It is not called "make-work-job" for nothing. Not that coding belongs to that category, but the gov would rather create ten thousands of useless jobs than have people be angry and make trouble. Thats why you have Black folk and other fatties sitting behind a desk, polluting paper and getting paid 4k/month.
Nothing will change, and definitely not that fast.

in its current form, it's a glorified search engine for stackoverflow.
you can copypaste small bits of code from either google or chatgpt, yes, but 95% of real work is adding a feature/fixing a bug in a massive quagmire of shitty brownfield code.
im not making assumptions about the future, but in its current state, it's a productivity tool, not a replacement.

Only the shitty ones. Jeets and code monkeys and after that le señiors that act as if they are experts, but they actually hold the codebase hostage with lack of documentation and communication skills.
And for those that complain how bad GPT4 is at writing and analyzing code - have you considered that maybe you are bad at breaking the problem down into optimal and only to relevant context? It's like having 10k stupid interns.
It's time to git gud or get sacked, for everybody.

I would love to drop kick a robot for shits and giggles. Might get arrested for assaulting a robot if we continue this trend.

human legs are a superb test case for the control systems they are developing
        >needlessly complicated

I don't think so. I'm making a video game and I have a web of spaghetti code that makes all of the mechanics function. I don't think it's possible for an AI to interpret my code because it's so abstract until you see what happens on screen and go "Ohhh now it sort of makes sense."

    it already is

so that you can accomplish the work of 100 programmers with only like 5 who know how to use AI correctly and efficiently

No yes? Its just another layer of abstraction to stack on python that was stacked on C that was stacked on machine languages. Maybe it's time to start refining our human languages to get the most out of proompting.
