what use is a coder who gets dependent on chatgpt >okay using the talents you honed last years of coding by urself on your own write something completely new and original >okay chagpt, write soemthing completely new and original for my boss >uhh how about a prediction of text based on what coders wrote in my data set?
>wow he lost all my respect
He lost all my respect already so many times. How does he keep doing that? It should not be possible. Gotta say, I respect that.
because people are lazy, the industry was full of copy and paste stack overflow programmers who were incapable, and now it's even more full of programmers who get 99% of their code direct from chat gpt

DeepSeek 7B is the most accessible one for most GPU. And thats got the highest scores afaik for normal users. The other highest is the DeepSeek 33B model
mixtral (not mistral 7b) was hailed as being better than turbo 3.5
check /lmg/

i do use deepseek with olamna or whatever, it works, it's slow, but it works, wish there was a way to speed it up so i could use it for autocomplete like copilot
People who perpetuate the "haha everything is copypasted from SO" meme have never worked in the industry in a meaningful capacity. SO is only good for finding information on framework specific edge cases or stuff that one could probably find as an IDE snippet anyways. In the real world you usually encounter a lot of problems that can't be solved with copy-pasting from SO.
It's good for some things like say you have a massive JSON blob and need to define classes for the data you can just give it the JSON and tell it to make the classes in your lang of choice it will do it with no issues. That's the sort of thing I use it for because it's fast
It's not, I'm sure the boomers were seething when you didn't have to write assembly yourself and just trusted the computer to do it for you. Scandalous
I literally never have used ChatGPT nor do I have plans to. If I want someone to shit out broken code that I have to fix, I can task an Indian with it.
Reasonable, the literal poos they employ, imagine what kind of bugs the introduce by just copy pasting chatgpt code, which is known to be not perfect (like imaging functions that dont exist)
The usage also lead to potential IP theft and has huge copyright implications, an employee might as well post company source code on SO or github publicly
he's probably rightly concerned about IP theft and or internal code being used elsewhere.
Microsoft is going to rob everyone's shit with co pilot too.
He has a competing product.
Also this
Samsung implemented similar measures so employees don't use someone else AI tool
>implying twitter has anything worthwhile to steal
the users are what's valuable
You don't own the users you fricking moron and it's impossible to use the code monkeys for anything important if all they know is how to use chat gpt.
I own them
They are my sex slaves
Its not but it requires hard work
good morning sir
homosexualry gets triggered by Musk, why is that? LMAO
What Elon Musk says on the spur of the moment should be written on wind or running water.
sued for what exactly?
Exposing trade secrets, dumbass, samsung already had an incident

Why are you quoting me, homosexualp?
Fraud and exposing the company to IP theft lawsuits
>elon cucksk is a luddite
wow he lost all my respect
He just wants them all to use grok, just so someone will
>wow he lost all my respect
He lost all my respect already so many times. How does he keep doing that? It should not be possible. Gotta say, I respect that.
He's a middle-aged man on top of being tech illiterate. Of course he's a luddite.
It's not, i've been doing it for 20 years. try learning

Yeah no unique solutions which ironically is going to make ChatGPT lower quality in the future as newer problems arise
Stackoverflow usage dropped right around the time AI coding helpers came online.
But we're blessed that we have offline local AI models too. DeepSeek 6.7B model for ex is decent enough
what model close or better than chatgpt 3.5 is available for local stuff?
I heard of Mistral and maybe something else but I'm completely clueless
mixtral (not mistral 7b) was hailed as being better than turbo 3.5

thank you will take a look

What's the current meta for executing these? Was it that furry tool Kobold or has something new come out?
>all those nu-jak faces
>twitter trannies can’t meme
Reddit tier, they won’t even use a hanging troonjak
Chud wouldn't complain about Musk, THOUGH
i do use deepseek with olamna or whatever, it works, it's slow, but it works, wish there was a way to speed it up so i could use it for autocomplete like copilot
>shilling for billionaire
>doing it for free
Is there anything more moronic than that? Musk has way more money than he needs. Get him to pay you
>way more money than he needs
You lack ambition

he's moronic. before ai we just use search engines and waste more time finding what we need.
Oh wow hes going to stop people from using stupidgpt
To be fair americans seem to be doing everything they can to escape working at all
Problem, thirdie?
Well yeah. We aren't allowed to use the public chat-gpt at work. We use the one hosted through contracts.
I tried using it for work but I found it's easier to make everything myself than explain every little detail to the gpt thing.

Doesn't matter. Microsoft owns everyone's code since you morons upload everything your ever write to github.
homie too broke to afford ChatGPT enterprise edition
>inb4 hurrr durrr he’s billionaire and you’re not
Stop meat riding Elon and acknowledge he’s the dumbest moron in Silicon Valley
Ok, but how is he too broke?
ChatGPT will happily take GPL-licensed code and present it to you as the answer without telling you that it's GPL-licensed, so that makes sense.
Philosophically speaking, how is using chatgpt to program any different from using a compiler?
It's not, I'm sure the boomers were seething when you didn't have to write assembly yourself and just trusted the computer to do it for you. Scandalous
Is this new? Just yesterday I saw some thread about this, and some anon said >elon musk is the type of person who'd ask questions like this
Its called editing html via inspect and taking a screen shot
I literally never have used ChatGPT nor do I have plans to. If I want someone to shit out broken code that I have to fix, I can task an Indian with it.
you should try it, it's pretty crazy what it can do sometimes
i use copilot

elon wouldn't know if code was from chat gpt or not
