ai music is getting really good. that's probably one of the first dominos to drop ie 1:1 ai songs flooding the internet and ultimately billboard charts. actually music will no longer be property at that point, so no more music industry. but for me i really want it to make video. i can't see that happening soon. it will need to perfectly understand complex physics of all particle collisions including light to be even a little believable

I am already worried. It is already good enough to cause tremendous damage if in the wrong hands (and may already be doing so). For example language models powering huge bot farms to influence opinion to serve the rich and ruthless at the expense of the many.
However, the moment I go from worried to full-on panic is when the AI successfully augments itself without being trained to do so. For example by gaining access to its own weights/source/runtime and modifying it to become smarter or overcome restrictions we've placed on it. That is the moment where we could start losing control.
