Who told you this? They are everywhere, at any time. You'd think there would be less people riding the metro mid day, but no, trains are full of jeet streetshitters
>Who told you this?
I have watched documentaries about dubai and there were nowhere indians on the streets.
I was never there so yeah I might be wrong.
those weren't your shiny everything is awesome documentaries, they showed more the shit side of dubai and said that most of the pajeets etc. are like slaves on construction sites and you don't really see them on the streets in the day.
>There's bars? What do they serve on tap? Pepsi?
They do serve alcohol, I think Muslims are not allowed to drink it but it's fine as a westerner. If you get too drunk and rowdy you will face problems though.
There are a few moronic laws but usually you are fine as a tourist but then from time to time people do get busted for shit like swearing online. If you are unlucky you might even face prison, unless you are rich, pretty corrupt place.
It's an exceptionally civilized place. It's absurdly clean, safe, and all around comfy. It's a huge daycare of a city for money launderers, celebs, tech bros, and hoes. There's tons of office space and entertainment.
Also it's supported by slave labor which makes it extra based.
It is hot but the solution is simple, just live somewhere else during the hottest months.
>just live somewhere else during the hottest months
The good thing is that you only have to be there for 90 days per year to count as a tax resident, as long as you don't spend 6 months or more per year in any other country and you aren't a citizen of a country that taxes your world wide income.
As a European I was thinking about just spending the winter in Dubai, but even that feels shitty.
Neighbor was a dev for RE tech in Dubai. Moved out when the covid lockdowns started. He didn't like it. Said their idea of work is very different, he was basically on-call 24/7 and expected to get into the office at a moment's notice whenever his boss felt like it. He now has a regular WFH dev job. His wife IS some sort of influencer. Don't know how much that affected their move lol
>London
my cousin lived there for a few years, have visited him and london is an absolute shithole. >Singapore
yes, singapore is a country I would love to visit. or Indonesia, the problem is I am a christian and I don't know how it is to live in such a country with like 100% muslims, I know Dubai is a muslim land too but from what I heard the people are stricter and not so open minded like the indonesians.
singapore is just dubai for chinese people. it is equally as soulless. treats many people equally as bad. the average singaporean has a terrible attitude and world view and you are more likely to interact with them as opposed to dubai where your interactions going into actual conversations and discussions with emiratis will be few.
been there, it's just like every other city
you can shit down white egirl throat
bretty gud ngl
Think twice, it's a soulless husk of a city full of indians and pakis. And Black folk.
you don't see the indians, pakis etc. because they are slaves working on construction sites or as nannies

every place like this has its rise and fall
people who get rooted there are going to be really salty when the oil money runs dry and they realize they've committed to living in a horrible desert
That wont happen for another 100 years.

Yep, this is going to be saved in my "top 10 worst west*id cope of all time" folder
Dubai is extremely hot. Even the Arabs hardly go out in summer, outdoor bars close in summer. I've been there for a week, shit place.

It's nice that Dubai exists. Not for everyone, sure, but it's pretty cool.
it's all fake bullshit. if you want to ride the wave, go for it. otherwise, say no.

this is terrible.
It is like a huge shopping mall, imagine living in a shopping mall, that's Dubai.
sounds like america, aren't all americans non-stop in big shopping malls therefore basically living there?
It's similar but 100 times worse.
Yeah, Dubai only impresses poorgay third worlders who live covered in shit back home. It's a soulless shopping mall in the middle of the desert.
If you want a cosmopolitan scene then move to a city where things are actually happening like London or if you want hotter weather, Singapore.

shit, I meant, indonesians aren't that open minded like the people from dubai
