Why not try Buddhism and eastern philosophys? I'm an atheist kinda, but I still took some of the lessons from Buddhism with me and have some form of spirituality. It's not all or nothing. You can accept you're not going to heaven or hell or whatever without choosing to believe in absolutely nothing at all. I'm not Buddhist or daoist but I found them both helped make sense of things without the copium every other religion has. Buddhism had some copium to filter out but still far less than others

You could say at any given time that moores law means in the future web pages will render instantly with no need for loading times but instead of having light speed everything, we started increasing the scope of projects and products and making things more sophisticated
The idea that AI will do everything and we just technologically remain in the year 2023 for all eternity is so fucking infantile. Of course people are still going to be doing all of the same things, in a general sense, and the scale and scope of products will increase to make them even better
The final goal of humanity is to learn how to prevent our wants and desires from growing in proportion to our capability. In my mind, the entire point of technological progress at all is to make the lives of people easier, and decrease the amount of necessary work they must do each day.
