This applies to all journals though, frontiers isn't actually any worse. They post real shit sometimes and if you know how to read the papers and have decent domain knowledge you can sort it out for yourself. From now on indefinitely anytime somebody links a frontiers article they will just automatically get ratdick.jpg in return, discrediting huge amounts of truthful and worthwhile research. Face it, "legitimate" and "trustworthy" Science has to be limited to a small number of tightly controlled sources. If real independent research is allowed through by any means the whole thing falls apart, and frontiers flew too close to the sun.
