The endgame of AI is proving genetic-environmental determinism

Predictive AI will eventually be able to predict income, suicide risk, relationship status, happiness, etc. Once this happens genetic environmental determinism will be set in stone and meritocracy will be buried.

If it eventually gets advanced enough to decode human genetics it will become a real life crystal ball, except more depressing.

modern capitalism is already failing, chud, and that's before AI and robots
everyone already knows this except you because you never leave your basement

AI and robots are good for capitalism if anything they will save it, the barrier for entry for starting an online business is lower than ever,
The only ones that will lose are lumpenproles that will have to be deported back to the 3rd world when mcdonalds and uber fully automate

no the lumpenproles that contributed nothing to production will lose their zero-skill jobs, and they will be deported, they were only imported as a stopgap measure anyway until automation was ready
You really have no clue what's coming lol

              you really don't get it
anything that can be done on a computer will be automated, and by the time mcdonalds or uber can be sustainably automated, everything can be, not just "zero-skill" jobs
that includes tech jobs, finance jobs, administrative jobs, creative work, everything

                again, you don't get it
there will be riots in the streets for government money and you will be hanged from lampposts by disgruntled ex-workers in the interim long before full automation

they can"riot" all they want lmao it makes no difference, power is centralized and they have shown they will use the military to defend "Democracy". they will be deported or they will be killed, they already self-selected for incompetence coming here to pump gas and deliver mcdonalds
They will choose deportation anything else is pure fantasy

extreme cope, one for thinking only le immigrants will be affected by this and out for revenge, two for thinking low skilled jobs will go first, and three for thinking nation-wide riots wouldn't absolutely force concessions from the government
there is only so much force to go around and they won't be killing their own citizens without the nation being dissolved for it
people rioted over george floyd, imagine what they will do when they can't pay their bills because they got laid off from AI, which by the way is already happening to artists and programmers

you have no clue how anything works kid, the "people" didn't riot over floyd, the state did and it was very useful for them. No one rioted when all the semi skilled workers lost their jobs in the 90s in fact they call that the Golden Era LMAO, no one will riot this time wither, unless they are told to of course! but not against anything meaningful, and yes the only jobs that will be lost are NO-skill jobs, working as a cashier isn't a skill I'm afraid. Those that will thrive are those that are skilled and use those skills to start their own businesses, it is and will be easier than ever to do it, you won't even need parasite employees!

                >exactly so anyone can make anything they can imagine, unless they are a zero skill lumpenprole
Lmao the cognitive dissonance, the point of the automation is that zero skill lumpenproles are hired over specialists

                Anonymous

uhh no, the point is the zero skill ones are replaced with automation
and the people that actually know how to make the product do it needing far fewer zero-skill workers

which means the skilled wagies can start their own businesses and can use AI to compete with their former employers since AI levels the playing field and the wagies that had no skills go back to india

It's not complicated, but you are clearly the latter lmao

You have a complete lack of knowledge of epistemology if you think that income or any of those other variables will be significantly more reliably predictable beyond what is capable today with boosting trees and simple Bayesian Inference models. Income is a non normally distributed variable with a fat tail (like ur mom). There's no way to predict income perfectly even from millions of data points about a person because luck and providence play a much larger role than you think. Any variable that is the result of a dynamic, nonlinear system is chaotic by nature.

AI definitely will be used to help with genetic research though, but that's hardly unrelated to the other shit you are on about.

AI's pretty awesome, but it's not magic—especially when it comes to predicting nature's wild card moves. Nature's got this way of being beautifully complex and unpredictable. Think of the butterfly effect: a small change here can lead to something totally unexpected there. We're also dealing with patchy data at best, and even our slickest algorithms can't quite grasp the full picture. Trying to model the whole weather system, for example, is a bit like trying to solve a billion-piece puzzle. It's a massive challenge for our tech. Plus, isn't there something cool about not knowing everything? Keeps us on our toes and reminds us to respect the mysteries out there. So, yeah, while AI is nailing it in lots of areas, it's not quite ready to play fortune teller with nature's next move.It cannot predict the death of Putin or Trump in nature.
