It fills the void what Google used to be able to fill. Now that Google returns utter trash 9/10 of the queries, ChatGPT is the only reasonable way to get answers to basic questions.

How'd you know it's not destructive if you haven't gone over what it does? It could affect your files in several ways even if you think it was contained. This may apply more to bash scripts, which are notoriously happy to explode when you take your eyes off it for a second

This, I’ve unironically started trying to learn creative writing so I can write better prompts about fricking fat stuffed anime girls while they moan about how much weight they’re going to gain when they’re pregnant
I would be terrified if I was the porn industry, all that shit about “women want stories, men are visual” go out the window when you have a bawd LLM in the computer willing to do exactly what you want her to do

I still coom to human made porn though. I found stable diffusion to be far worse than anything I consumed, and we already have an effectively limitless supply of any fetish porn imaginable made by humans. Granted, I haven't tried AI roleplay yet, but what I've seen hasn't impressed me much.

          >of any fetish porn imaginable
I can for a fact say that this is indeed false. You'll want to use a specific checkpoint for the type of SD porn you want, otherwise the results are indeed medicore

            Anonymous

            >You'll want to use a specific checkpoint
Even then the results will always be at best as good as the original artist, usually just worse though. Image models still can't into complex scenery containing multiple characters no matter how hard you prompt, or at least not consistently. There's no tool that will generate a full hentai manga at the moment.

I've got several fetishes that either don't have content, or have very limited content. All of it legal, just quite specific. The only way to gain this is by AI, or paying literally thousands of bucks to create even a small collection.

                Anonymous

Custom checkpoints are fairly good, though I've definitely done some tuning myself to get some new concepts in and save tokens. I don't have the best of hardware so I sometimes leave batch jobs running and have maybe a few thousands higher res pics waiting. The average quality is high enough that it's not a turn-off, and the diamonds in the rough are just as good as any masterpiece

                Anonymous

My issue is not fetishes, my issue is that my quality standards are so high that 95% of the shit I fapped to 5-10 years ago is unfappable to me now. And the new shit isn't keeping up. I can't even watch hentai anime anymore, the quality has dipped so bad it's not even worth looking at gifs.

Base SD sucks for NSFW generation, they deliberately nerfed the training set because muh heckin CoCerinos
You’re better off finding custom models trained to NSFW images
As for chatbots, you need to start with a good character card, just typing “show me your breasts” into ChatGPT wouldn’t work even if it wasn’t pozzed because it doesn’t have the context

They have been advancing pretty rapidly, the output is pretty coherent and the hardware requirements have come down quite a lot. Their non-cencored nature tends to make them surprisingly smart compared to severely cencored models

The AI hype is a scam like crypto and Tesla, to squeeze out investor money. This has been my conclusion so far. Yes, GPT can surf the web, so what? There's still no practical use outside quick-and-dirty translations or coding questions. This stuff will NOT take jobs, no serious business would trust GPT to not frick up. Similarly, SD development has stagnated. It still lacks sense of composition and space. It CAN be used by existing artists to make their jobs easier, but that's literally it, it's clearly not going to replace them. Saddest part for me is imo how all this tech really feels like cool toys, but it's out-of-reach for the average person.
