Not really, even my office has given the green light to using ChatGPT for some emails. They still need to be reviewed just incase it says something weird, but still, it's being used by offices now.

You're delusional. Almost all creative fields are using AI assistance these days. This means 2 out of 3 creative jobs disappear. Certain lower end tasks like some types of asset creation, concept art, foley work have been totally replaced by AI. Everyone is just prompting themselves 90% there and cleaning up artifacts. Voice actors are definitely on the chopping block.

Essentially if you cannot transition into becoming a supervisor and editor for AIs doing what you used to do manually, you don't have a job.

The only people who think they're better than others are blue collar workers. I have never heard of someone in the arts saying their job was hard or they're superior. Always oil drillers, electricians, garbage workers, etc boasting about their jobs.

This. Artists' guilds are nothing but a bunch of elitist, nepotistic wankers. It's about time art stops being a showcase for these hedonistic freaks to gather the attention that their rich families denied to! them and returns to its origins as a medium of human bonding and introspective emotion.

you are mistaken. The people that make modern art in museums that you hate so much are completely unaffected by ai. Someone's dad who works on video games whose name you will never know is.

News is not journalism now where someone would go and physically investigate something and then report on it. It's simply copying and pasting sections from other sources like AP or government press releases. AI can do this much more efficiently.

wait, I thought the idea was that the ai bros were rootless yuppies who can't put down their phone for 5 minutes. now you're saying they're farmhands from Alabama?
        >AI art is stagnating
I'm curious what you're referencing here. Is MJ usage down this month?

I think it's funny that people say this when it's not true at all. People really don't understand how designed production art is. You can't prompt for sort of abstract things like shape language. Using art ai is also such a "you get what you get" experience you can't really be specific with it.

it's not so much that it's replacing them completely, just that a lot of the effort can be automated such that you don't need nearly as much skill or practice to draw something specific
that in itself isn't anything new really, digital painting makes lots of things easier and has been around quite a while now, this is just the next step

        >just that a lot of the effort can be automated such that you don't need nearly as much skill or practice to draw something specific
you're only half right. Yes amount of work is reduced by automation. But there is no way in hell you can clean up an ai image if you don't actually know how to paint. It's like programming. If you don't know what you're doing you might just barely cobble something together but if you don't know what a while loop is you're really not going to go that far.

        >like shape language
        What?
        >Using art ai is also such a "you get what you get" experience you can't really be specific with it.
it keeps getting better at this though. SDXL can generate text now if you ask it to.

        >What?
        exactly lol
        >it keeps getting better at this though. SDXL can generate text now if you ask it to.
yeah but it's really autistic. I was trying to make an offensive image of Queen Latifah the other day and the ai didn't understand that I just meant the person. It kept depicting her as royalty. I don't think it will replace people until it has human level intelligence.
