      >Poor wording because that's not possible.
No American can overcome that limitation but I'm sure they'll conveniently find an H1B pajeet who can.

    >PhD
Yeah I'd be lying if I said I was qualified for whatever they're probably looking for here. I am but a lowly code monkey

AI coding is just goyslops that can do 99% of the work, but for the deep frontiers, they still need human expertise

AI isn't really good for performance intensive shit, it's for codemonkey slop

It can't even make React components work properly.

I program but AI would only slow me down. Can't imagine anyone using it for something as critical as AI

They want to develop their own gpu or develop custom firmwares for current gpu to extract more performances

they are developing their own AI accelerator

They aren't. Sam Altman has another company thats doing it. Sam wants to make buck by making OpenAI buy it from his company.

again why is it not the AI doing it? Google and Nvidia both showed how its done why can't OpenAI do it when they have access to something much more powerful?
I would assume that the AI is watching your every move and you are going to be replaced fairly soon.

What the frick is up with them and 3 years? Entry level positions, senior "I have 2 PHDs" positions, always 3 fricking years.

Much more than that, credible rumours that serious engineer positions at OAI pay close to a million a year now.

What the hell. Do Americans really make that much money? I though it was just a Reddit meme. Here in France, even 80k a year would ba an absolutely insane amount for most engineers.
