I don't even care about Macs, but this is silly. Witcher 3 isn't even an ARM game. The fact that it's running it at all at 60+ is cool. I wish Windows ARM machines could.

It's just crazy to even talk about emulation in a benchmark. Compare a native game to a PC counterpart. I believe both Mac and Windows both run RE village and No Man's Sky for example. Not the most demanding games, but it's more reasonable than this.

its good marketing, sure you can prompt any AI from a macbook, or any computer, but investors and boomers dont know that

In the early 2Ks, MS wanted to MS-ify the entire internet, development, and the desktop. Windows Everywhere™. This left an opening for Apple to win over a lot of developers who wanted something else. They were the right machine at the right time especially when web development took off. Linux wasn't ready back then except for the backend. And for the most part, this hasn't changed. Yet.

They are obviously doing something right, but I have picked up on some cues that may suggest they are not the best and brightest:

    >grammatical errors, poor vocabulary, weirdly formulated writing from high-ranking members of the company. English not being their first language does not explain it.
    >GPT-4 has a surprisingly bad system prompt.
    >weird, at times juvenile behavior surrounding the ousting and subsequent return of Altman
    >weird cultish "I love everyone at this company" utterances from Altman and other senior management
    >really poor ChatGPT UI. Given the resources they have available, it's surprising it's so bad

What is outstanding is Altman's ability to hustle.

    >outmanoeuvred Elon Musk
    >gets people to willingly give up their biometric data in return for some shitcoins
    >actually has people believing he has a fighting chance to raise funding equivalent of 10% of global GDP

all this comes with the disclaimer that I am a moron and am likely completely wrong about everything
