I already had a thing going with doing fetish smut wiriting commissions for people and editing them onto other peoples art, so I kinda just started writing what I wanted to on AI art generations instead and post them on twitter, I've seen people get success taking commissions on pixiv but I'm not sure if that still happens or if they still let you do that, this was like 7-8 months ago so probably not

I've just been downloading LORA's on civitai, I used to train textual inversions before LORA was a thing so if I need to train them I could, but with so many anime girls on civitai already, even if some of the LORA's do suck dick they're enough for a few gens, a lot of random anime models on there are also very good now

I'm not making huge sums of money but its some nice change to save up, if I actually took more commissions or advertised more myself I'd have a good amount more cash for sure, but I really don't feel the need to right now when my own stuff gets people interested

                Anonymous

Thanks anon. Might try pixiv. I wouldn't mind doing smut or lewds for people, and since I can train my own LoRAs I could do obscure girl requests or whatever.
Seems hard to find places to take those kinds of requests. The few places that I could think of are probably already infested with people who already know how to do this shit themselves.

The rule is very simple and has always been true: when the media talk to you about science, you can be sure that it's 100% bullshit.

The media are too dumb to talk about science. So when they do talk about it, it's either not science or it's something the big corporations have told them to talk about (and the big corporations don't do science, they just make money).

The only thing the whole AI fad as exposed is that there are far too many incompetent people in positions.

What this whole fiasco really proved was how pathetic the us submersible radar detection system is and why russia could just head straight to new york with ease.

But then again, the system is a globalist protection racket pretending to be at war with itself to appease and distract it's slaves. No need for radar for foreigners when there was never a real threat.
If we were in 1950 that sub would be found much much sooner and blown up immediately as a potential threat.

I have a basedhomosexual cybersec sperg that buzzes around the friend group talking about how Bard is going to replace all of the programmers he knows and how they're all obsolete now. I tried using it out of curiosity to see if it could help with some gamedev projects I'm working on and it can't do shit outside of the boilerplate trash you see in CS101 classes. I was more impressed by Wolfram Alpha 5 years ago than this Bard shit now. Why are cybersec gays so moronic?

Bard is not great but if you can't use chatgpt4 to double your productivity then you aren't a fully developed programmer capable of reading code fluently and running it in your mind, and you should spend more time reviewing code and planning to develop the intuition to use your tools effectively.

ChatGPT is literally no worse and oftentimes better than the half baked gibberish that you have to wade through on stack overflow, random forums, proprietary vendor documentation, external contractors. Being able to make effective use of the nuggets of informations where you find it is the actual way to be effective at programming, coding and expressing yourself in code should be the easiest part.

It's become commonplace, I use chatGPT the same way I used to use stackoverflow. Being able to just paste code chunks and tell it to do the brainlet work or what the current behavior is and what it should be and have it fix it immediately is amazing, but not worth talking about anymore.
As far as waifubots are concerned, now that the novelty has worn off, I'm waiting for a production ready version before I waste hours of my life fricking around with local installs.
Finally I regularly use SD for art generation in my weekend TTRPG games but I still prefer doujins for my spank material, wake me up when they can match Hirame or Inoue Kiyoshirou

There's nothing wrong with this. Once we all hit puberty, we started thinking of girls our age. I had a lot of good looking girls in my class, so I would have constant fantasies of the real cute ones. Society says it's bad but it's all nature.

Even young boys would be pushing out their lunch money for that shit. And even more, I bet they would be working to have sex around ages 14 to 16 earliest. Based off other societies with lower ages of consent.

Reminder that e-girlcon & shotacon is already considered CP and you can be put on a sex offender registry for it
“Coroners and Justice Act 2009” that made the creation or possession of illustrated pornography of minors illegal in the UK 14 years ago.
    https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2009/25/contents
Under the PROTECT Act of 2003, any obscene image that depicts a minor qualifies as child pornography in the United States. The scope of the act isn’t limited to photos of children; it also covers illustrations and renderings of fictional children. This means that possessing any image or video depictions of an identifiable child in an obscene situation could land you in legal trouble.
    https://www.govinfo.gov/features/PROTECT-act
Since a reform of the French penal code, introduced in 2013, producing or distributing drawings that represent aminoraged less than 15 years old is considered the same as producing real child pornography and is punishable by up to five years' imprisonment and a €75,000 fine, even if the drawings are not meant to be distributed.

Youre quite moronic. The act applies to drawn cp, as in drawings of actual children in obscene situations. Nowhere in the act does it even imply, let alone explicitly state, that it applies to fictional children.

And even if it did, good luck prosecuting it since scotus has already ruled on fictional obscene material...

In australia it doesn't even have to be porn.
        It's just "obscene material".
I have no doubt this is already being used to shut down and contain material against the state.

In fact, the fact that this could even stretch to vids of the tarrant shooting and things that could clarify the factual realities of major events because of it's "obscenity". So soon this will just be tailored here to restrict any freedom of speech.

It's not even remotely about CP, porn or perverts anymore. It's just state control of information.

Worse, the government/police in many states store data on a database that could be used at any time for their own browsing and access. This is literal CP of REAL abuse of REAL children that REAL victims have complained about their storage of.
But it gets even worse, they can now just add data to a database such as these, pretend that it's on your PC, then rig a court for you to go to jail. Lower cops aren't even allowed to check whether the images actually exist thanks to proper protocol now.

That is how bad this shit is becoming.

      >France

People are talking about it less because ChatGPT is pozzed, it's not the same great GPT when it was unveiled. Then everyone started looking at local options, but the problem is now that the best local models are the 30B ones and most people can't even run the 17B ones which are the minimum of good local models. It's a problem of hardware, most people don't have a 3080 much less a 4090 and with a large percentage of interested people are filtered out. Now everyone is waiting for the next gen GPUs and hoping that either those morons at Nvidia give us way more VRAM or that AMD get off their moronic asses and make ROCm work on Windows as well us give us more VRAM in their next cards.

US has obscenity laws which are completely subjective. If a judge says the shit you have is obscene and has no artistic value it's ogre. But of course no one will go after you for this alone, shit will either have to be reported or it'll be found and used as aggravation.
Either way, you are fricked if the judge decides you are.

the hype was unrealistic, but it is a useful tool for providing general knowledge and information
it will never be anything more than just a tool though

Except it doesn't, it just spouts bullshit that's often not even on-topic, and the few times it's on-topic it's just plain wrong. The autoblob that google generates from a query is more often accurate, and it's usually wrong, too.

      >but it is a useful tool for providing general knowledge and information
The problem is that it makes things up at times, some dude used it to write their argument for a court case and it turned out it cited precedents that didn't exist.
I'm sure specialized versions will be able to avoid this in the future, but right now it's unreliable, you never know when it's making shit up unless you look it up yourself which defeats the purpose.

        Anonymous

yes, you still need to be certain that it's giving correct information, but if you're experienced with a topic, it is a very useful assistant
        >shit, what was the best way to accomplish X using Y again?
        >let me ask chatgpt, i will be able to identify any potential incorrect information
        etc etc

the thing can even defeat captchas so much cope coming from you guys.

no cope here, i'm a big fan of AI
i'm just aware that the current limitations give it a role similar to that of an assistant, or a slighty more personalized search engine

Except it doesn't, it just spouts bullshit that's often not even on-topic, and the few times it's on-topic it's just plain wrong. The autoblob that google generates from a query is more often accurate, and it's usually wrong, too.

not always, if you know the topic at hand, you'll be able to identify and filter out any bullshit

          Anonymous

          > if you know the topic at hand
You have to know the topic at hand so deeply that it would literally take more time to ask it a question than to just answer it yourself. For example, I asked it how to change the protection flag on a page-aligned memory region in linux, and it kept hallucinating that mprotect had an extra int* argument that got filled by the protection status prior to the update (of course that doesn't exist). Even when trying to correct it, it would just say "sorry you're right, here's the corrected code" and repeat the precise same thing with the exact same "bug".
Note that mprotect'ing back and forth between RX and RW is part of its dataset. Things outside its dataset are even worse.

          >inb4 honorabru japan doesn't report it

It's true, though. Well, the police doesn't report that they received the case anyway. Look into the politics around japanese policing, it's real fricked up shit, even far removed from the child sex stuff. Not to mention all the yakuza and other gang involvement throughout public institutions.

            Anonymous

            >Look into the politics around japanese policing
It's nothing as absurd as people make it out to be. Also, people keep misunderstanding the 99,9% conviction rate. That has nothing to do with report rate or the japanese police failing to file the cases.
It's literally unfounded conjecture and not understanding the differences between the judicial systems.
