Anyone that thinks this guy isn't the real deal is full of shit. I 100% believe his leak that OpenAi has AGI already internally. He says Sora was something they has since last March and Sam said ChatGPT 5 will have text to video, which means they've had GPT 5 ready for at least a year.
>sleeping on it for an entire year
they probably wanted to see what the competition had or just wanted 4 to be out for a while and let people get used to it,
They have built the future already. They release it when they think we're ready.
222R
you are so naive
As long as OpenAI are in the lead they won’t release anything. They have a bunch of shit they save up to take the spotlight away from other companies, in this case sora was literally dropped 3 hours after the Gemini 1.5 news and now has twice the attention. They would’ve dropped it when ultra 1.0 came out but it was so bad they didn’t worry
on it for an entire year
Bill Gates spoke about using gpt4 a year before it was released at a dinner party with Sam Altman.
It’s so fascinating that once again world changing tech is in the hands of israelites. How do they do it. Truly maddening.
Soon open models will be out and you will be able to generate as much porn as you want.
>It’s so fascinating that once again world changing tech is in the hands of israelites. How do they do it. Truly maddening.
Possibility 1. The people of the Demiurge. 2. "Muh Kabballah and sheeeeeeit." ...In all seriousness though, it does make one wonder.
they have the highest IQ. The perfect trifecta of amazing genes, strict custom of literacy/education/critical thinking and a strong custom of community/nepotism. I honestly don't mind, they won fair and square, I just wish so many of them (like sama) weren't outright sociopaths
it's not just his way of tweeting, everything public about him is extremely fake, to the shit he wears to his "nerdy" mannerisms. Read the new yorker profile on him, he's extremely calculated and soulless.
>they have the highest IQ. The perfect trifecta of amazing genes, strict custom of literacy/education/critical thinking and a strong custom of community/nepotism. I honestly don't mind, they won fair and square, I just wish so many of them (like sama) weren't outright sociopaths
I think it's less about the fact that they have amazing genes and more about the fact that they don't tend to dilute said genes. The very strong urge towards tribalism amongst them causes them to only breed with their own, which removes shall we say...the potential factor of outside contaminants.
If you aren't white down the female line, then the idea that they arent diluted is completely moronic

>our iq is so high thats why we have the most trannies, the worst health, the highest suicide rate, and the worst comorbidities
Yes, literally all of those things are directly correlated with high IQ
>j-just dont look up where these studies of correlation get paid by
cook your data, and cook your health. the only thing you are safe guarding is your enslaved ego.
same way they build the pyramids. enslaved others to do the work for them, financed it for some half puppet ruler, and then run away from the country when the heat of their bloodletting gets too hot.
GPT-4 was ready in early summer 2022 and entered into safety testing and filter training. Many months before ChatGPT was even released. They have a lot of stuff going on all the time.
However it was weird move from their part to announce this video AI, given that they are just now starting the safety training and red teaming. It will be many many months before regular users get their hands on this, maybe even year or more depending on how hard the filtering is and I suspect it is extremely hard, because they can't even fully filter single images, let alone thousands of frames.
Only reason why they would announce this so prematurely (like if they had announced GPT-4 in summer 2022, before safety training), is because it is reaction to Googles Gemini 1.5 announcement. They wanted to kill any hype around Google's product.
There was also Stable Cascade that released this week, the pre-mistral medium leak relatively recently, and at least one genuinely innovative billion parameter paper. I think one of the biggest factors in the decision, though, is the fact that Altman is trying to generate a massive amount of money and he doesn't really have a whole lot new to show to justify the 7 trillion he's been lusting after, so excitement and momentum had to be generated in order to acquire capital.
That's how long it took to cherrypick these samples
Why do you think @sama is asking for 7 trillion dollar in funding? Aka 10% of the global GDP? OAI has the eval function, they have the tool to bring change to reality. They just want scale and want to get to AGI first, by scaling up their server 1000X
everyone and their mothers know that corporations and governments have tech/things before the average Joe, sometimes months or even years
🙂 it keeps being racist, I bet.
Why do people talk about GPT 3 or 4 or 4.5 or 5 or whatever as if those numbers actually mean anything at all?
bigger number = better
Because they do, as the model number gets greater, the model becomes better in some capacity.
Feel like that’s just common sense but regardless.
Sam Altman infuriates me with his lowercase homosexualry. None of these milksops have any posture whatsoever. These are big, important developments in the technology world. You can't even feign professionalism? Frick you.
your a idiot
>your a idiot
You're are an idiot.
>jews subvert your culture and heritage
Personally, I'm not surprised at all.
Rational take. They also dress and talk like casual gays
haha youre jealous. when youre famous, you can push any meta or agenda, some will seethe (You) some will worship (also You), some will mine salt (Me)
he knows exactly his typography is making little autists mad, its fun
>t. sam
we are so back
it's weird you post that, because I've been watching 90s X-Men all week.
We know
i dont know what this thread is about; but it makes me wonder; why on earth is an open ai engineer posting apu pictures with a shadowy large penis overhanging him casting a shadow onto apu; while leaking shit (most likely company approved leak); and this penis + apu meme; is his way of doing this controlled ala carte apple style; controlled leak?
What the actual frick is going on with big tech bros.
So now he can't leak stuff on that account anymore. Did he do it because he has nothing else to leak?
>pick random date
>say nothing about what is going to happen
>something happens on the date, because something happens on every date
>people think you have secret information
It wasn't just a random something happening, though. It was a major Open AI announcement something. Could it still a big dumb luck? Sure. But that's awfully damn lucky. I haven't really been paying attention to the "leaker" before now, because I, too, thought it was bullshit, but I have to admit this is fairly convincing. I'm not 100% there, but I'm about, say, 85% there, at this point. We also have to consider the possibility that just because it may be a legitimate leaker, that doesn't necessarily mean that everything being said is true. It might be a mix of legit stuff like this, and other stuff that is less so, with the intent to drum up more money and funding.
>might be a mix of legit stuff like this, and other stuff that is less so, with the intent to drum up more money and funding
Almost certainly this
All his dates were correct. He doesn't keep posting dates till one sticks.
>make a bunch of alts
>say a random date on each one
>wait for something to happen
>suddenly announce that the correct alt is yours
>delete the rest
ezpz
I trust that you've found a sufficient number of alternative accounts claiming to be an OpenAI leaker with date predictions of a big OpenAI event each time to prove this theory?
march 2nd
>text to video
ok so what is the use of this other than deepfake which is illegal and immoral?
if you ask it "make me a movie about xyz" yeah it might be able to make a movie but will it be entertaining or will it be more capeshit?
You'll never be able to make capeshit with it. Safety rails mean you'll be able to generate HR-friendly videos of smiling people and puppies and shit. Only major studios who pay the big bucks will be able to generate someone frowning at someone else. This is the future of generative video.
So far it just makes 1 minute videos that you describe. You could also animate a picture with it. It wont do whole movie for you and in future it will probably be as entertaining as GPT4 movie scripts.
>other than deepfake which is illegal and immoral?
making a likeness of someone including a celebrity in media is not illegal. Its all over youtube.
Generate cut scenese in indie games
Cope and seethe moron luddite
You have no idea what this thing even is.
I don't think it's sank in for many of them yet. Give it time to diffuse. They'll see soon enough.
its just nerf in reverse with the AI learning the weights given sufficient size. Nothing surprising.
holy shit.
DARPA and the DIA develop the tech first. OpenAI gets it afterwards to polish up and productize for the consumer and business. They only need to stay just ahead of competition in monetizing new AI tech.
Yeah, this has been around for years. Does anybody remember Julian Assange's magically moving shirt collar?
I don't, but I'd be interested to hear.
>I 100% believe his leak that OpenAi has AGI already internally.
I 100% believe that ClosedAI is out-appled Apple in marketing bullshit. Fricking hell.
Thing is, they have its own definition of AGI
https://openai.com/charter
>highly autonomous systems that outperform humans at most economically valuable work
Most economically valuable work is not done by programmers, or God forbid, *rtists. Most economically valuable work is physical in nature, not informational. And to have AGI by that definition, they need to do it cheaper than the existing people can, somehow.
>Most economically valuable work is physical in nature, not informational.
what do you base that claim on?
https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/real-estate/our-insights/americans-are-embracing-flexible-work-and-they-want-more-of-it
>A remarkable 58 percent of employed respondents ... report having the option to work from home for all or part of the week.
that's just counting people who are allowed to work from home, so it doesn't include jobs which could be done from home but the boss doesn't trust them. i suppose some people who work from home are actually doing physical jobs, like a masseuse, but that's probably a negligible fraction. also, this survey is only counting numbers of jobs, not amount of work, so it counts one minimum wage burger flipper as equal to one hedge fund manager, even though the latter is doing more economically valuable "work" (albeit potentially less socially valuable).

>>A remarkable 58 percent of employed respondents ... report having the option to work from home for all or part of the week.
>americans
You have to be 18 to post here
>americans
really? that's the entirety of your argument? a single word? are you saying that my claim about "economically valuable work" is untrue because i only used data from the biggest economy in the world?
Most of the economy is paper shuffling UBI. The British Empire's foreign service in its Victorian heyday was a few dozen dudes in London. Most jobs are UBI.
Makes you wonder who and what is actually generating all the real wealth.
That’s kind of the point. They’ve been working on robotics and works simulation from inception. Go look at their early research.
OpenAI has near AGI behind closed doors, and is siphoning money from all the other initiatives to finish it off. The planned releases are to maximize the time they have before they need to deliver.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AGI ITS AN IMPOSSIBLE TECHNOLOGY STOP INVESTIGATING ME
I just want you to be free form them
Further proof the leaks were real.
>pajeet does the needful
Nice
They are using it to improve the other AIs.
Soon they will be overtaking countries.
I, for one, welcome our A.I. overlords.
