Yeah I've not noticed any difference in twitter other than breakages when he first took over and have been using it for years. I still get recommended good content from artists I like including Ines I've never seen before twitter works well
twitter preMusk was full of crypto spam on everything popular. It was unusable. Like every single Musk comments was spammed with crypto spambot. Not just 1 or 2, but like pages and pages of cryptobots spamming everything popular.
He removed that entire crypto spambot and it was replaced with a weaker form of bot "pussy in bio" shit. That got stamped out in a few weeks or so too, all of them getting filtered easily. The only major bot left is the follow bots.
There is no difference other than the site being slightly buggier.
Twitter is fundamentally garbage by design, any attempt to change this is turd polishing.
It’s hilarious, I only use my acc to read stuff and never interact with anyone and some days ago I got followed by around 20 bots in a couple of hours

fwiw it's easier to make a twitter account now. i've made it for multiple alts/online personalities i've had and each time on musk's twitter i just had to do some extra captchas. on the old twitter if i did anything too quickly after account registration, like change my profile picture or follow too many popular accounts (like even more than a handful at a time), then i'd just get my account locked and need a 2fa method like a number or something.
but i do also think that it's a bit of both. ps i dislike musk, he's very annoying and has a lot of dumb takes.
