my employer, big corporate medical biz, is still digging out from the fallout from hiring an Indian company to handle funding/billing.
Employer cut loose ~400 US employees with NO notice; just 3-6 months severance pay. Employer hired Indian company with ~800 employees at half-the cost.
Indian company, dealing with American customers, American insurance, American medical equip suppliers, and American doctors, has EXACTLY 10 people who speak English.
3 months later, employer begging everyone they cut loose back with a 15-50% salary increase. About 100 of original employees return.
Employer has to muddle along with Indian company indefinitely.
Fast-forward 6 months, and I'm getting e-mails from rakshaneesa singewhaharhaar asking what kind/category of equipment "freight" is on a fucking invoice.
...and now, all of your health insurance premiums are 2$ a year higher so my employer can continue to be stoopid.
