If AI learns by scraping shit from the internet, what effect will it have on future AI learning if it starts scraping stuff that's already AI generated?

This is actually why AI is going to “destroy everything” it’s because stupid people will believe it no matter how dumb it gets

This is unironically the original Dead Internet Theory before /x/ went all homosexual with it
It overfits itself to the point that regular humans become detectable again precisely because they don’t have the “normal” behavior

    >scraping stuff that's already AI generated
At worst it will have no effect, because the new AI-generated data is, on average, as good as the data that the AI was originally trained on (as seen by the AI through the lens of its training process).
Fortunately, though, the situation is actually better than that, because the people paying to prompt and host the AI-generated data have an incentive to cherry-pick just the best examples that the AI produces, to maximize the revenue they generate from it.
So actually the people using the AI are fine-tuning the models for free, indirectly.

Actual humans communicating each other is where the harvest will be

      >where the harvest will be
      The biggest crop is YouTube.
Once an AI can efficiently extract information from videos about the physical world, and human interaction, then Google will have all the data they need to reach the singularity.

70-80% of youtube is AI generated content already and has been for years. That will further poison anyone harvesting youtube content.

          >70-80% of youtube is AI generated
That claim is obviously false, but for training an AI it's possible to cherry-pick just the 10% of most widely enjoyed videos.

            >That claim is obviously false
Have you used their search? LMAO. The actual human content is less and less each day. The bot creations receives millions of hits on their videos each day with shitty generic content that only caters to the lower 50% of the population.

It will result in the same thing that killed search engines: AI will literally SEO itself.

Not much? AI is trained on pure random triplicated unformatted garbage already.
    It'd probably be an improvement.

this might be a scary thought but since AI can be trained to filter things by quality it will be able to detect word vomit, both written by AI and also the ones from buzzfeed type clickbait holes
