I run a VM with W10 LTSC, rarely use it anymore, but i was thinking on instaling Vista + ExKernel bc of how comfy Aero can be.

You can run it on 8th-10th gen intel without much troubles (integrated gpu drivers work, there's a mod+signed version on winraid that just werks). Wifi may not work, but swapping the card out is easy. Use simplix on your ISO which gives you usb3 and nvme support.
I saw people running it on 12900k and 13900k but that requires a lot more fiddling, including choosing the right motherboard, so if you have an existing setup the chance of it working is low.
