    >in the age of AI and Spam garbage?
Explain how these these are arguments against privacy or anonymity first.

bots make up the majority of sites (including BOT). how are you going to distinguish between them and humans without some kind of verification?

Do you need you need to distinguish them if they also answer your question?

By using your fricking brain. AI written text is obvious as it mixes 5 different styles in like 2 sentences and fails to properly use the appropriate register and/or tone for whatever it is it is doing and even if it tries to get these right, it does not sound natura, cause LLMs are are not real AI.

If the people you're talking to are indistinguishable from soulless automatons, do you really think that anonymity is the issue?

easy. the bots aren't as moronic as real people, especially those who post here.

You gain the freedom to be truly you, and to trust others to be humans too. Instead of being lost in a sea of bots and fake pictures, articles, voices, entire sites even. AI will become a worldwide virus that won't be undone, outside of trusted content on a blockchain or something.

        >You gain the freedom to be truly you
I don't want my face and identity to be displayed on BOT, true me is the opposite of what I want.

You don't necessarily have to have a face shown to everyone. But some verification somewhere beforehand might be necessary one day to even interact safely.

is the bot going to jump out of my screen and strangle me or something?

I love how safety back in the old days meant not getting your ass kicked, avoiding a disease or force of nature and now it means not talking about subjects people in power don't want you to talk about or talking with people who don't have mainstream opinions.

The chain of trust has to begin somewhere.
You need to trust that whatever governments and three letter agencies are in charge of the ID system won't use it maliciously against you, and won't give it out to bot farms if they pay highly enough.

I trust the random anon that calls me a Black person homosexual more than I trust the above scenario. You're a Black person homosexual. Gas the israelites.

Loss of privacy is never a good trade on convenience. We need more privacy, local AIs instead of a dystopian hellscape

    >how do they justify
Privacy is a right. No justification needed.
    >but spam and AI garbage
Just build tools to detect it. AI cuts both ways. If you keep marking low quality post as spam and use the current deluge of AI garbage as input for training you can avoid most of the trash.
