>Graduate with Masters in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Robotics and Automation
>Get hired by company right out of school that helps other companies automate more of their production processes
>First contract I get to work on is a local family owned bicycle factory
>Apparently original owner died and the son tookover
>We meet with new owner and his managers, we discuss what they want done, production numbers, quality control, budget, etc.
>This goes on for several weeks until we settle on a price, where we're going to source the robots, which manufacturer (they went with Fanuc iirc), whether they would use refurbished robots or not (their processes weren't that accurate so it'd be a waste to use brand new robots where the accuracy isn't needed)
>Everything in their processes was very hands on, all welding is done manually with parts clamped in jigs
>Begin modelling how the different processes work, which ones could be optimized, discarded all together, where to add steps if needed, etc.
>Settle on a basic feed-and-wait model where tubestock and parts are near robot stations, robots can feed parts for the most part but still need a human to occasionally put a part in a fixture then let the robot pick up the part, robots will continue to produce until the station upstream from them either has no part or is waiting for the next station to finish
>Meet with the company to discuss model, they want a few things added, eventually get final model
>Company signs off on model, green light to implement
>Owner gives employees a generous 1 month long Christmas break to give us enough time to install all the equipment and have everything calibrated
>They junk a lot of their old equipment to make room for the robots and new equipment
(1/2)
(2/2)
>Finish installing equipment, total # of people needed to keep production going is 1/10th the size it was before
>Only need a few robot and maintenance techs, quality control employees, and temp agency employees to feed materials into the production line
>Christmas break ends
>Management of the company is handing out manilla folders containing termination documents (Why they didn't do this before the break is beyond me, maybe they thought we wouldn't be done in time?), lots of subdued sobbing, some angry comments being thrown around kek
>In the end only a handful of them remain
>Production is up over 200% and quality control issues are down by 90%
You'd be surprised at how cheap and plentiful industrial robots are, even compared to just 10 years ago.
I fricking love my job.
>Management of the company is handing out manilla folders containing termination documents (Why they didn't do this before the break is beyond me, maybe they thought we wouldn't be done in time?), lots of subdued sobbing, some angry comments being thrown around kek
Pretty fricked up man.
Eh you get used to it.
What? Why would it not be real? They made moronicly expensive hipster bikes.
Unskilled/semi-labor goes on the chopping block first.
Just assume it will happen to you too. Soon it will happen to white collar too.
Shh, keep quiet mate, the remote work white collars will have no idea when the age of AI slash ultimate outsourcing strikes.
This is only really shitty part of your otherwise positive story though i'd expect employees to figure out what's been management cooking.
P R O G R E S S
>Finish installing equipment, total # of people needed to keep production going is 1/10th the size it was before
How much does the US lag behind, if this is still possible.
Honestly I think the previous owner didn't give much of a shit and his son must've seen the opportunity. It genuinely blew my mind that there was a factory operating like that.
What did they use, 60s tech?
Happens all the time here.
Most of the shit like the mills, lathes, presses, cutters, etc were ancient Clausing branded equipment from around the 1980s.
Most of the welders had a DRO haphazardly bolted to them.
> America discovers CNCs
> in 2023
Kek, that explains a lot.
And what are tolerances like having replaced the manual machines? I presume they still use manual for ad-hoc repair?
Exactly, I have worked on what OP says here many times... in the late 90s.
The US is practically 3rd world
in fact, they are more 3rd world now than the actual fricking 3rd world factories lmao
Your average american factory is a run by an aging out boomer workforce "mass" producing 1/1000th of the product an automated chinese factory does, at 10,000% the cost.
The 3rd world is going to be richer than america and europe pretty soon. China, Korea, and Japan already are if you look at quality of life and industrial output instead of lying israeli GDP numbers. The rest of the south east asians will follow suit shortly, then Mexico, Russia, and Iran. In 50 years the remaining impoverished shitholes will be the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South America, Africa, India, Pakistan, and half the middle east.
The west is getting fricking eviscerated because of shortsighted israeli interests purposefully sabotaging white people at every turn. The whole political system is broken and industrialists who achieve anything are cut down by their own governments because total control over a molehill is preferable to having a mountain of prosperity. It's just natural israeli behaviour and our entire leadership is now israeli to the core.
Parts of America already resemble Third World conditions and the local government is about as dysfunctional as any other Third World nation. Can you name a single advanced industrialized nation other than the US that has a river that can literally catch on fire? Because I can’t.
Not to mention property taxes are about to surge to pay for all the boomer pensions that will eat the remaining tax base
do you think small scale automation will become more feasible in the future for SMEs?
what is the minimum revenue or production numbers that are required to think about automation?
SMEs will just disappear. There is so much red tape around automation now that no small company can even think about making it happen.
Think 50-100k per installation just in bureaucracy. It's pocket change for the big guys and a medium to huge amount of money for the small guys. Big guys push regulation cause it provides a great barrier to entry. Things will just get worse for SMEs
What is the bureaucracy around automation for, safety reasons? I haven't heard bureaucracy mentioned much when discussing robotic automation but its not a subject I'm sure knowledgeable about.
Bureaucracy is a complex topic. For the most part it exists to fit a process which is required by other processes. Unwinding this shit is extremely hard for many reasons that include:
> Some boomer built his career/empire around one particular step of some approval process and will defend it till he dies.
> Nobody actually knows how the process works. Super common.
> There's political will to keep a process in place, perhaps sponsored by some politician taking bribes, or by him having election interests in the process
The bureaucracy bullshit is rampant in the west. It's actively preventing actual progress.
Just look at the swedish union attempting a strike against musk, who doesn't even employ them - they went and indirectly started striking at OTHER companies, to stop the flow of supplies or prevent the rendition of services to try and force musk to accept unionization. This is all while the non-unionized employees at his company are making MORE than the union employees are in sweden.
This kind of corruption is fricking rife in the west. Everywhere you turn you find people screwing each other for their piece of a pie.
It's not just automation, it's everything from product design to packaging. Automation is a big part of it though.
There's a thousand useless regulations you need to comply with. It's mostly money - you hire someone with the right credentials to do the job and they certify you.
Problem is, it's a very high fixed cost. For a big company, it's nothing. For a small producer, it's a huge investment.
Say you wanna put a new product out there. Just the bureaucracy costs involving going from 0 to "I can sell it on the internet" can be upwards 100k eur for something as simple as a microcontroller based widget. For you small guy in a garage, is a gigantic gamble. For Siemens, it's pocket change. So usually Siemens buys your design instead and no disruption in the market happens. Big guys keep getting bigger.
Such regulations are written into law by the big corporations to purposefully block upstart competition.
The west is operating as a command economy in everything but name
Precisely, it's all by design and it's all pushed in the name of safety by big interests
The west is dead, killed by ~~*parasites*~~. It could have been utopia, instead we're talking about gay rights while our israeli owners destroy what's left of our society and pump what's left of it to Ukraine and Israel
>taking everyones ability to make money and living like a serf is utopia
Ah, I see. I misread your comment as bureaucracy specifically to automation rather than just bureaucracy in general. Which I'm sure there is plenty of in manufacturing.
Farmers have milking robots in their stables here anon.
>do you think small scale automation will become more feasible in the future for SMEs?
Yes. Robots are getting cheaper and cheaper and for a lot of applications you do not need a lot of accuracy, in fact as I said most of the robots they bought refurbished from an industrial equipment supplier.
>what is the minimum revenue or production numbers that are required to think about automation?
Really it depends on the product being produced, price of the product, and whether they are mass produced or made in small batches.
https://www.machinio.com/listings/63292292-110-lb-gsk-rb50-6-axis-cnc-arm-type-material-handling-robot-in-cincinnati-oh
This one also comes with the controller.
Oh, and you get a discount typically when you order in bulk.
israelite detected
Lol and no one left with money to buy the bikes
How stupid are you
First robotics displace 9/10th of a factory work force ( you laugh ) , next AI replaces 9/10th of your work force ( you cry).
The absolute moronation.
And yet last I checked they're still in business selling the same old over priced hipster bikes. Do you not know who their target customers are?
Last you checked , better check in a year , just about the time your job will be taken over by AI
Anon, I'm already set to retire early. I own my house and my cars. I've got more money than I know what to do with.
A few months ago I asked ChatGPT and Bard to write me a simple pick and place program for a Fanuc robot and according to the simulator all it did was open and close it's gripper. It never moved because it never defined any points or made any calls to move. Then after I told it in more detail what I wanted, after I edited out programming errors it would have crashed into the ground kek.
Still ChatGPT has only been out a year so its still quite impressive what it can do, though I guess the tech behind it is older. We might see the ability of AI increase exponentially.
Black person that shit has been out a year and it's already killing thousands of jobs. Just wait until Microsoft and Google get their greedy israelite hands on that shit.
The only "jobs" I've seen it kill so far are mediocre artist jobs and pajeet "programmers".
I can't even get ChatGPT to do basic middle-school level right-triangle trigonometry without fricking up the flow or getting variables swapped around.
Whatever moron. I'm not arguing with you about the potential of AI. Enjoy helping the israelite increase his shekels while you can.
I am an ultra senior developer. You're either a moron or you're deluding yourself.
AI is coming for us all, not sure when but it's pretty clear no human has any place in the productive cycle in the future.
Problem is who holds the key, and we unfortunately ended up in the timeline when ~~*they*~~ do
That should make everyone infinitely more wealthy by bringing costs of goods so very low, but I doubt that this will be allowed to happen.
They already are keeping everyone poor via their money magic, if that weren't in place we would already all work 10hrs a week tops
They're either killing us all or leaving to AI maintained Elysium. That's their plan at least. Their technoprison is very, very fragile as it is today. They either find a way to make infrastructure resilient, or it all goes to hell. For everyone.
>Using a Language Model for complex math.
You know there's way more to AI than just Language Models, right?
And what model am I going to use for word problems for a trig problem? I haven't even seen a decent model that can solve Math problems beyond Algebra 2.
Well I’m happy for your success.
Soon you won’t be able to buy gas or parts for your paid for cars , your paid for house will have no heat or water , save what you provide with local resources. Your investments including bank account will evaporate. You won’t be able to buy food ( you might be able to garden if you have water and fertilizer).
Successful macro business model , extract as much profit as you can while still maintaining a healthy long term customer base. You should have taken some business courses in school.
ChatGPT is roughly a year old and can spit pseudo working code lmfao, you have 5 years maximum before getting btfo by the AI.
There are other free and open source models that run on a pentium 4 machine and can write much much better code than the latest ChatGPT 4 full float iteration.
Cool head cannon anon.
This mode of thinking has never once been proven correct in 200-300 years of industrialization.
Were in a post industrial society lol
Just ask the NWO israelites that control everything. When you realize their end goal is to kill 99% of the population, everything makes sense.
The funny thing is that at some point whatever bigger bike manufacturer exists will make that plan close down. AI and robotics are too competent, most of production could be centralized in like a decade.
Nah what usually happens is the bigger bike manufacturer buys out the smaller bike manufacturer to acquire rights to branding, trademarks, and tech.
The robots they're using will become outdated compared to cutting-edge tech in just 5-10 years. Who knows what advancements AI will make in Robotics. We really don't know, I think it's funny that you think your job is safe, though. Computer Science morons were the same just 5 years ago or so
The one thing that companies don't like to do is rip up a shit ton of equipment and infrastructure to do major overhauls. Probably explains why they waited 40+ years to to do it.
Also see
Uh based?
Too many mouth breathing slack jawed morons as it is.
Yeah I don't disagree. Problem is that a LOT of the mouth breathers are right now set to be the owners of it all. This is terribly dysgenic and feels like a great filter kind of event
And then shuts it down
All industry will be centralized, AI is the missing piece. It won't make humans go away, it will just slash their numbers to 1/10 of what they are today.
The way things are set up now, just very, very small group will benefit from all this. Everyone else will be left to their own devices a la Elysium, or disposed
You're absolutely right. And thus, we have to stop this from happening, but the elites will kill the cannon fodder/cattle.
I don't think they've properly accounted to how fragile their control grid is. A single knowledgeable malicious actor could leave entire towns without power or running on emergency generators for weeks easily today.
soulless NPC
Based. Frick wagies. It’s a dog eat dog world and you just ate them. Learn to play the capitalism game better! Oh wait you can’t because you’re gonna starve now because you had kids instead of investing in a diverse portfolio with plenty of real estate assets to generate rent LOL
>You'd be surprised at how cheap and plentiful industrial robots are
How much do they cost used (for a basic b***h 3 dof) with controller?
I posted a 6 axis one earlier in the thread with controller, for about $8k.
You sound awfully proud
Why wouldn't I be? I get to do the things I love in my job.
You shouldn’t, but that’s between you and god
Oh boy, here comes the moral police to come and wag their finger at me about muh pride.
You sound vaccinated
Nope. Never took the vaccine. I'm honestly kind of disappointed it didn't kill as many people as you homosexuals had me hyped up over it.
Excess deaths are at a solid +30% YoY on most western nations
Guess I'll have to take what I can get then.
I still think the deaths we've seen are really unwanted side effects. The real purpose of the whole vax circus was something far more nefarious.
To see how many people would comply. A pilot to see if whatever shit comes next will work out.
They already knew it would work
Their propaganda worked perfectly... on the intended targets
The element of personal choice was always the core of it all. You had to go and take it. Voluntarily.
If it was just a question of killing people indiscriminately, there were better ways
Why they wanted to apply this selection factor, I don't yet understand. But applying they did.
I guess we'll see.
>You'd be surprised at how cheap and plentiful industrial robots are
This is fricking moronic, those industrial robots are way more expensive than outsourcing your shit to taiwan. I didn't think any bicycle company was dumb enough to manufacture here.
I hope one of your robots kills you
That's not a robot. It's motor spinning a metal rod.
Can't happen. I never enter the cell when it's running in automatic mode and there's a shit ton of safety sensors to make sure that can't happen. Plus you have to hold the deadman switch on the back of the teach pendant just to slowly jog the thing at 10% of it's max speed.
thats a lathe moron
What a wonderful israeli story. Thanks for sharing.
yessss less chinks and pakis needed for assembly thank frick.
Why couldn’t this happen sooner?
Cost and companies being afraid of return on investment. Robots have gotten a lot cheaper over the past 10 years or so. A decent robot cell with a robot, controllers, a couple fixtures, tooling, installation and programming, is about $70-80k depending on what you want it to do. Not that long ago that $70-80k would've only gotten you the robot and maybe the controller.
Based. That means most polcels and their kids won't be able to eat.
Both blue collar and white collar are being automated, moron
blue collar jobs are not, soon there will be a chip shortage and the decision on what to use those chips will be made. When to use robots is gonna get reduced, and what machinery that uses chips is also. Alot of manual machining is gonna come back to build up machines to build the US industrial build up. This homosexual and Ai will help find those processes that can be cut, but when chip shortage happens the decision are gonna be made what to cut and what not to cut. and the creation of repair parts is gonna go manual, it's no longer gonna be supply chain overstock of parts.
The chips will all be used for hunter killer robots and drones controlled by AI ( sky net)
You plebs on the bottom will be exterminated.
Those are kosher robots and shitty general purpose automations, there are more affordable options around (from a technical point of view because it seems the israelites also wienerblock this).
I'm talking about lying israelites in general.
That's a consequence of your fellow lying gay Black folks not smoothly transition to this as it became available decades ago and reallocating the workers into other activities.
Only because they have access to money printing, the amount of bloat and chaos those companies have is huge.
Also there is the AI talking point every homosexual israelite has to repeat here despite it being rarely used in those applications (and using it won't help too much either).
We were contracted out by that company, we had no input on how they were to manage their company. Though I do agree they did wait a little too long to upgrade.
Whoa hold on there, homie. Do you really expect to me read all that shit by (You)?
you job is dead soon homosexual soon thsoe workers are gonna be used to make just in time parts for your shitty robots.
>>lots of subdued sobbing, some angry comments being thrown around kek
is up over 200% and quality control issues are down by 90%
Based. Every job I've had, I've been promoted to tard wrangler, because management recognizes sentience.
Here's what I noticed: The thing about 20% of people doing 80% of the work is absolutely true. It actually was spread across demographics too. There were old women who would outperform young men. Fat people who outperformed fit people. That said, the useful employees did skew to toward young, male, and White.
Many people are just warm bodies. They just want to exist without doing much except drinking beer and watching TV.
They get a job because they have to, but they view it more as a social club that will financially look after them for life.
These are the people that cry and scream when they get performance managed or fired.
Exactly. Which is why whenever we have an opening to take on another contract we get swamped with companies desperately wanting us to come and take a look at their production process. And we go for the highest bidder.
Who is your company?
What companies did you set up production lines for?
I am a Work Bike Manufacturer with a product line that I am looking to incorporate with a robotic frame welding process
I have a trike that takes three jigs to put together
One to make the front, one to make the platform and rear drivetrain housings and then one to put them together with a few welds
The bike trailers I make are also to be robotically welded together
I have a few models of that as well
Ideally I would be looking for a set-up and programming service like you offer
That would take me into the productivity model I need to complete a minimum of production orders that I am planning to send out to distributors, bike stores, and in rental hubs
Later moving to mass produce them with expanded manufacturing lines for commercial fleet retrofit orders from large companies that deliver and want a last mile vehicle
Im on facebook....Pedal Power Work Bikes
HMU if you can....
Nice! I hope we have more people like you in Canada.
We currently are experiencing productivity declines due to a lack of capital investment and our leaders want to make up for it by importing people of questionable skill levels.
And your job will be replaced by Ai. Don't forget that this is what you wanted. So now crying and kvetching you fricking israelite.
But I know it's bullshit because I am familiar with robotics as well. Those efficiency numbers you shat out are bogus.
Good on ya. USA needs more manufacturing.
Machinist here, how do I get into manufacturing robots?
I don't make the robots, they come fully assembled from the factory. Though if you're curious there are several open source projects that show you how to build one.
I don’t believe you but I wish it was real so I could have some hope that America can take manufacturing back from chinks.
Ah yes, small familial company buying robotized, custom line of productions costing hundred thousand dollars.
Family owned as in not publicly traded. They've got 3 other factories iirc. And no, none of it was "custom". A lot of it is just bolting the robot the the ground, installing a safety cage to keep tards out, and programming it to do a repetitive task. They bought most of their robots used and refurbished. iirc cost per unit was like $2,000
You don't get into the $100,000 territory unless you're buying a frick huge custom robot with a warranty.
That's what the horsebreeders and cartwrights said about Ford.
>$2,000
larp
Damn, are they really that cheap?
You can get a 6 axis industrial robot, controller, and teach pendant used for about $8-9k.
>familial company buying robotized, custom line of productions costing hundred thousand dollars.
I work in a family company. We just invested 400k on a new machine. Family company doesn't have to mean poor.
Not only it's likely not gonna be as much as you claim and large portion of it is gonna be financed via loans but, as it is actual bussiness, there will be for sure a buttload of tax returns and carryovers spreading that cost over next 10 years (at least!).
BTW new capcha is wicked!
>carryovers
*carryforwards
Sry imma drunk.
Buying the equipment is only part of the problem
A small fish tries to seriously automate, they will immediately have state inspectors up their asses. Certifications, authorizations... bribes.
It's impossible for a small guy with a good idea to automate at a scale. It is by design.
I see whta you are trying to convay and mainly dissapprove with amount of blackpill you're mixing in. As certified sparky, gas tech and crane op i can tell you there is so much leaway given by gov inspectors to 1st cases of frick ups i'm sometimes wondering how can those guys sleep at night given they pretty much sign on these things on good will. What generally fricks with small to med bussinesses are financial and tax audits not only willing to cripple operations of said biz but go to extreme ends to find some error in papers/payments and leave fat bill with red stamps.
Govt inspectors go right for the paperwork, you could run an uninsulated unbalanced 380v triphase line and they would be ok with that if you had the right form stamped (seen it happen)
The right form stamped costs 10k tho
> you could run an uninsulated unbalanced 380v triphase line and they would be ok with that if you had the right form stamped
Well... yeah, You can >under certain conditions< especially concerning old systems build/put in operation before new rules were made.
> especially concerning old systems build/put in operation before new rules were made.
I call it "boomer insurance"
Boomers never complained about the avalanche of new useless regulation coming in from around the 90s... because they were explicitly made immune to it. That was the deal - you make it impossible for our kids to do business, but you leave us alone. They never once said as much as "meh"
You are literally Satan.
Problem is not automation. Problem is the social structure that rewards incumbents and stifles innovation at every turn.
Given that, automation just makes the incumbents position unattackable. The recent barrage of regulations and ISOshit certification just makes sure nobody with the right idea but no funding will ever be a threat to bigcorp.
You will own nothing and be happy. I'd start burning infrastructure down today of I were you, while you still can.
I make it a point not to buy American until we see executions (or life prison terms) of politicians and company execs who exhibit anti-social behaviors
>NOOOOO YOU HAVE TO HIRE THE WAGIES YOU CAN'T JUST AUTOMATE YOUR PROCESSES WE HAVE TO RUN EVERYTHING LIKE IT'S STILL THE 1950S REEEEEEEEE

No.
Most of their customers are already the wealthy type that can afford to drop thousands on a bike only to have it stolen by Black folk, and then turn around and buy another. Cleetus, Tyrone, and Juan aren't their customer base.
You’re a bad person and you should feel bad
Want come to china?even you are from BOT.
I can't afford a superfluous luxury like a bike and neither can their laid off employees
now what?
Anon is right!
I worked for a company where my project was being used to secretly track truck drivers in order to build up a report for stack ranking of performance. The thinking was this report would help introduce automated driving platforms over time by replacing lowest ranked humans with automation first.
Im not proud.
they'll never automate truck driving.
I have the latest adaptive cruise control on my cascadia, and it completely misjudges construction zones (which are everywhere) and many cases where the white lines are faded it swerves into another lane as it can't tell which is which.
It has a hell of a time when orange cones are slightly out of place, it doesn't know whether to slam on the brakes or drive through. Little things like that a computer will never achieve.
wonder who are they going to sell their products when automation takes away all the consumers with it?
It's a shame those employees won't be around for the first set of out of warranty repair bills on the robots. The owner is going to shit himself when he's paying thousands upon thousands inrepair bills for techs. He'll deserve it too bro.
This when all Electric parts are made by BUGMEN
TOFU DREGS much
The robots they bought were fully refurbished with all new gears, encoders, bushings, and bearings. Other than the occasional gear oil change they're rated to last about 10 years before needing a major over haul. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Have you considered using your newfound wealth to buy some friends?
For that matter, if these robotic assembly lines are basically printing money, why don't you use your talents to go into business for yourself? It seems that you would make way more money as an industrialist than you are as a glorified tradesmen installing the means of generating wealth for other people.
I don't actually install them myself. I help program the model, do the cell layout work, initial calibration, then program them, and do test runs and make adjustments accordingly.
I do contracting on the side, one of the local automobile plants has me teach new apprentices about robots, and sometimes I get called up to do maintenance on the robots and recalibration/program adjustments. Contrary to popular belief it's not all just white collar work. One minute I'm designing a fixture in AutoCAD or running a program through a simulator, next thing I know I'm beating on a robot with a deadblow hammer. But I like it, doing nothing but manual labor sounds like hell, and doing nothing but staring at a computer all day also sounds like hell. It's a nice mix between the two that gives me an excuse to get off my ass when I get sick of sitting around.
You know, like I said earlier, one of the electives I took was basic psychology and I see a lot of comments where I'm somehow going to suffer from some event outside of my control. That's the common thinking of a loser or someone who is socially isolated/stunted or suffered a lot of emotional/physical trauma growing up. Crabs in a bucket. Pure jealousy.
You are a little boy.
You're gonna suffer because of things that are fully under your control, what are you even talking about?
You're making the wrong choices today, and it's 100% up to you not to make those.
I went down the same path as you, but I made the right choices. Not sure if I'm gonna make it, but my chances look much better than yours
Now I'm curious. Elaborate.
That's not a lathe.
From what you said here you're banking on something that very likely will not prove to be a reliable safety net in the future. This is me speculating but from what you said you probably haven't invested much in community, maybe not even a life partner. Your practical skills are probably also severely lacking, as it is your capacity to whitstand privation or discomfort.
I don't think you're gonna make it.
Anon, I hate to tell you this but my Indeed account gets buttfricked by countless prospective employers looking to recruit me. Sometimes they even call me at work. I do have a life partner, graduated top of her class with a degree in Biology with a minor in Organic Chem. Shit, she was the one who told me to be wary of the vax.
>your practical skills are probably lacking
Did you not read above? Machining is one of my side hobbies.
Yep, soulless career normie right there. Sorry.
Which is funny because I've known about this place before Reddit was even a fricking thing. Came here initially for the humor, memes, and to use as a news aggregator, now it's just countless Twitter screenshot threads and pointless generals.
Imagine getting butthurt over someone having a career.
They're not butthurt over you having a career or even that you automate jobs away (which is rational and necessary), but that you gloat over the misery of the people you are replacing. You just sound like an unpleasant character. Karma isn't real of course, so you will be very rich and have a good life, but don't confuse one thing for another.
Do you think that Henry Ford or any of the Men who worked under him gloated over the misery of horsebreeders or cartwrights? Most of the people that got replaced were skilled welders whom I'm sure found a decent job not long after. One thing you need to realize is people can be overly emotional in the moment to the point that it seems irrational. Can't really say the same for horsebreeders or cartwrights, many of them had no recourse but to work a basic labor job in the mines, in agricultural positions, or (ironically) in a factory.
+/- 0.1mm tolerances are possible with the robots. They did keep a few machines around for basic repair or machining tasks.
Because ~~*you*~~ are Black criminals with serious mental problems.
