It's not unusual for people who make that much to donate that much if they're traditionally religious. He's literally just tithing because tithes are calculated pre-tax and paid post-tax.

AI fad has come and gone. People are losing interest fast, just like they did with NFTs.

AI has massive applications. Everybody knew NFTs were stupid and people just hoped they could dump their worthless bags on somebody else.

Real AI is held by glowies, everything else is either to condition you in some way and/or datamine
Real hype should happen if and only if we're talking about the average person leaving the internet, then the world would begin to heal

Same, they have said they are going toward making AI significantly cheaper not training a new model.

    GPT4 was a disappointment after GPT3.
At best you should be cautiously optimistic for GPT5.

Will it finally be able to do basic math?

It will be able to do math at least as well as you given the same time constraints

Is this supposed to be an insult? It literally fricks up the most basic problems even after correctly staging the formula.

Considering OAI is more interested in lobotomizing their models in the name of "safety" than improving them I'll be surprised if it isn't DOA.
