sure this isnt just crap in its memory model, like when you ask it whats 1+1 its not executing a math operation per say but it does give you the correct answer... yes its abobawdely feaky but i think people attribute super powers to something that isnt so

GCC 9.4 and Ubuntu 20.04.2 only came out in 2021, and that version of Ubuntu had GCC 10 not 9.

It's just crunching together blogposts about running the GCC --version command.

you just exposed yourself as web chat user that asks for trivial code.
for actual engineering projects, you would use the API through your ide like

why are you still using vscode when there's a superior fork with better ai support?
you should be using cursor which does support claude-3.

      Nothing.

AI programming tools are designed to shit out mediocre code quickly. The companies' hope is that mediocre programmers will catch the bait and stay mediocre (or get worse) instead of improving. If you dislike programming enough to want AI to do it for you, you shouldn't have been doing it in the first place.

I have to write tons of regexes and unit tests for them. If I can generate the majority of them through something like Github Copilot, that would severely ease my job (which is why I asked about AI for coding).

I rather pay for a some amount of tokens and buy some more only when they run out.
