ChatGPT just popped in and politicians already made a million AI summits and AI regulations

They are really desperate to control the narrative and censor everything what an AI tool could ever express. Politicians don't like informed and self reliant citizens.
How will the AI industry boom if everything will be obstructed with obnoxious bureaucracy? They are making AI development impossible.

I thought women used to whine profusely for being unable to do manly shit and being socially inferior but here nobody takes issue with women unapologetically showing social superiority.

They dress like that because THE PATRIARCHY says women always need to look pretty. The men all dress normally because they have MALE PRIVILEGE and don't need to worry about looking good.

Blame Elon Musk and his unfounded conspiracy theories.

At the same time, jihadis have no right to use AI to make scientific calculations on how strong their hypothetical nuclear bombs could be.

Real progress is taking down the 3 branch bullshit system and replace it with AI, I still don't know why people aren't throwing a civil war to make it happen, I guess boomers need to die first.

Those "summits" are sponsored by big tech to make this shit appear bigger than it is.
GPT-3 came out in 2019 an no one gave a shit and it could do 99% of the shit chatGPT and GPT-4 can.

how exactly are they going to regulate it? Just like with 3d printers? guess what homosexual they cannot do shit. I don't know why you homosexuals are so damn scared. The US gov won't do shit even if they could theyll do some fanciful shit to make it seem like they are doing something specially when the chinese are building AI. you moronic dickheads

i know very little about ai but what if someone buys say 5 4090s or whatever is the most powerful gpu and makes his ai completely unrestricted? then maybe he torrents all the code and weights and whatnot
how are these regulations supposed to stop this

      >I know very little about AI
This is obvious from your incoherent rambling anon. What is stopping someone from doing this? However, the capabilities you see in GPT4 result from being trained by 1000s of A100 GPUs, which you will struggle to even get your hands on a physical one now, or you can pay $5 per minute of compute on a virtual box.
Add to that you need a very clean, organised, dataset with a train/test split.

Once your model is trained, you'll also need to apply a RLHF layer and LSTM into the model to give it capability to hold a conversation and not immediately spit out garbage.

Just like homeowner and landlord associations are trying to do everything they can to push for laws restricting new developments, since that would bring the demand and therefore the value of their property down, tech coporations are pushing for laws that would restrict "AI", since they can convince the public that it's dangerous and they're the only ones that should be legally allowed to handle it. What if technology advanced to the point that we wouldn't need to work? Wageslave owners would be powerless.
