chatGPT is honestly kind of shit

Anyone who thinks this is going to replace anyone is moronic
It can't do basic math, it makes shit up, it doesn't understand half the things you ask it to do, nothing it programs is something you can't find on stack overflow, if you say something it considers contradictory to it's own statements it grovels on the floor and starts an endless loop of I'm sorry you're right even if the imaginary correction was wrong
I don't get the hype
Granted I haven't used 4
At most it is a reasonably better search engine

You are a Black person cattle consumer. If you'd used the API you would know all of these faults got overcome months ago, but your mutt genetics make you too moronic even for basic python.

Doesn't matter. Eventually they'll release a "learning" model that someone could talk to like a child to "grow" it into whatever they want, and we'll be set. Provided it's not connected to some major company to track everything. That would be disappointing.
Honestly, I just want it to read me books about past great leaders so I can digest their thoughts and opinions.

    wildly incorrect

    the singularity is nigh

gpt 3.5 is 0.0001% of what AI is capable of and
    gpt 4 is 0.001%

It's going to vastly increase the work rate of employees (and especially freelancers) in some sectors. Especially law. Contracts gays are not going to be able to find a job in ten years. Litigation chads will keep on winning

I don't know how to program but it wrote me what I wanted in python. It needed some debugging but it worked. That being said I asked it questions based on military history/law and it completely bullshitted amendments and specific laws that didn't exist. When I asked it to clarify it just basically said "sorry, I lied".

You have no clue about how to give it proper instructions, aka prompting.
Not the tool's fault that you have a surface level understanding of language and concepts.

      It literally can't understand how to make power set of {1,2,3,4}
It told me {1} wasn't in the power set

The tool isn't made so it answers arbitrary mathematical questions also pretty sure code interpreter would be able to do so as a python function.
Also, if you're using 3.5 you're basically using a half a year old version, aka ancient in LLMs terms.

Yeah they're all pretty fricking moronic.
I've tried chat GPT 3 & 4, that open source one "liberty ai" or something, and a lot of the sub-iterations.
    They're moronic.
Where they're useful is unironically in wasting your time.
And them being all over BOT is clear how effective they are at this one thing.

Leave it to israelites to turn their digital golems into pilpul machines (and nothing else).
