The documentation is all on openai's site. You'll have to pay for it though. I had it read sections of a report, summarize each one (because of token limit), and then write a new section for like $1-2

It can deal with longer prompts, but it doesn't "remember" automatically like chat does. But it doesn't seem to have the same wrong think filters in place

              Anonymous

I don't think I've ever ran into it having a prompt limit, but that's interesting to know. I thought you could maybe configure it differently or something. If it has fewer filters then that alone is worth it in my opinion. I haven't used Google to search info for months, it's useless now.

An API is an application programming interface, I might be wrong but I think it's a way of making two pieces of software communicate easily. I am not an expert though, I just have a $4k gaming pc and like to mess around with shit from github.
Lots of it requires an NVIDIA gpu because of Cuda cores or some shit.
I paid $900 for my gpu and it's fricking incredible at games but shit for everything else.
          >couldn't wait to install Arnold or Octane renderer for cinema 4d

No, it's just that it's the first computer I've assembled since 2012, and the landscape has changed. We didn't have AOI coolers back then and you had to manually install LED lights if you wanted them.
I know how to use computers pretty well, I just didn't know that NVIDIA were the fricking gatekeepers of GPU acceleration software and I didn't know that they had formed a monopoly on all the non-gaming shit that utilizes gpus.
I didn't even buy AMD to save money, I bought it because it has amazing specs.
It still works incredibly well, it's just that it doesn't do anything other than gaming.
ChatGPT wasn't even a thing when I got my parts. You're just a contrarian troony.

And since you're an expert, tell me how I can get stable diffusion to run on my computer. I installed python and GIT and it just tells me that I need an NVIDIA gpu.
Thank you expert Sama, I am very lucky to be speaking to an esteemed genius such as yourself because my own research into the topic has led me nowhere. You obviously know much more than I do lol

You're a moron for using a statistical mesh trained on the internet instead of directly using the internet and a library.

At best, you will get the statistically average opinion on a topic, which is guaranteed to be lacking in nuance, detail, and in manner cases accuracy due to the prevalence of government influence on official channels of history and politics.

There is literally 0 guarantee this thing will spit out anything tied to reality. A lawyer is getting canned for drafting a memo with fake cases.

Yes, and some of those books will not exist or not be relevant to what you're looking for. It can't THINK...it can't REASON...all it can do is recognize that you are looking for book titles and spit out a list of "things that look like book titles". Some of those will be real and relevant, others will be completely made up or off topic.

Then they sent an assessment to all potential applicants too see who would fill the two roles. I used chatGPT again too write my answers and blew everybody out of the water. LLMs do not "think", they are not "aware" they are not "people". They are just machines that spit out text that looks similar to text they have seen before.

You should ask yourself why you are spending so much time and energy trying to get a glorified slot machine to spit out validation back to you instead of spending time interrogating the real world and gathering evidence yourself to support your ideas.
