Chat bot just told me the secret of the universe. The universe started out with just photons.

Chat bot just told me the secret of the universe.

The universe started out with just photons.

These photons gave rise to electron-positrons.

But where do the quarks come from?

In the early universe, high-energy photons, electrons, positrons, and neutrinos could have collided and interacted to create quark-antiquark pairs or gluons. These interactions would have occurred through the weak and electromagnetic forces, which were present at these high energies. As the universe cooled, the strong force would have become confining, leading to the formation of hadrons.

If we evolved from photons, how come there are still photons around?

otons are fundamental particles that are not subject to decay or annihilation in the same way that other particles are. In other words, photons do not decay into other particles and can persist indefinitely. This means that photons that were present in the early universe can still exist today.

In addition, photons are constantly being produced and absorbed in various processes in the universe, such as in stars, galaxies, and black holes, and in interactions with matter. Therefore, the presence of photons in the universe today is a result of both their persistence and ongoing production

Bahahahahahaha if you believe this then your out of your mind. No one knows how the universe began. You can’t infer data points that you don’t even have. Then just like biology it started out with a primordial soup. These people are absolutely crazy and would do humanity a favor if they would just jump off a bridge

      >You can’t infer data points that you don’t even have

But we can see back to nearly the start of the universe.

Moreover, using the data you do have to interpolate and anticipate the parts that are missing is both very possible, and a sign of higher intellect.

At this point why even care anymore, we will truly never know how the universe again, our purpose besides reproduction, or fricking anything else. We are so past all this shit that it doesn't matter in today's times. We just have to go along with what we have and enjoy our lives now.

According to the big bang theory photons didn't exist until after the phase transition from the electroweak epoch. And photons like we have today didn't appear until after photon decoupling. You can see in the table on this page
    >photons (γ) do not yet exist (they will exist after phase transition

Actually, this is the same as the big bang theory with the eras jumbled up

What prompt(s) did you give to produce this response?

    >ChatGPT sometimes writes plausible-sounding but incorrect or nonsensical answers. Fixing this issue is challenging, as: (1) during RL training, there’s currently no source of truth; (2) training the model to be more cautious causes it to decline questions that it can answer correctly; and (3) supervised training misleads the model because the ideal answer depends on what the model knows, rather than what the human demonstrator knows.
