Artgays are the most moronic crowd ever in human history when it comes to new tools invention. When AI came over to code monkeys, we see how general consensus from code monkeys felt about tools like ChatGPT or Copilot: helpful tools that'll speedup workflow. When AI came to the cooks, they think how efficient they can do all the mundane part of the labor. When AI came to college students, they think how great it would be to be a study learning aid (for cheating homosexuals they will use them to bukkake out the contents to Turnitin). When AI came to HR staceys, they think how it would help them write emails in lesser time.
But when it comes to artgays, they sperg out the moment they see all these AI slop and cries out in pain about how their art got stolen by muh midjourney or dalle3. Do they not see how something like this would help them speed up their art workflow? Do they not see the imperfections in the images generated by AI image generators that would open a new commission opportunity like "AI art fixer" so that artgays still can benefit from this? I'm sure that artgays are the most moronic group of people that it's ogre for them. If anyone tells me that they're an artist, I'll just assume that they're dumb as fricking neanderthal.
There's a difference between making something completely from zero, versus having like 80-90% of the legwork done and spending your time polishing what is ostensibly not your work, seeing as you merely 'prompted' it, instead of letting your mind wander and so on.

I'm not a (professional) artist myself, so it's telling that you immediately ignore everything I said and project some archetype onto me.
Art for making money is one thing, feel free to do whatever you please. Already on this godforsaken board, soul is already half sold to Satan as is. But that notwithstanding, it's just about productivity/efficiency, so do whatever floats your boat.
Art for personal satisfaction and personal improvement is quite another thing.
But again, in both cases, there's something extremely artificial about only serving to fix minor mistakes that the AI made, mind you. They aren't even your own mistakes, you're just picking up after someone/something(?) else entirely.
Most of the artists I've met that I liked were artists who used more traditional methods over digital. I think maybe being out of touch with digital art and the internet kept their mental health more intact
Unironically good traditional artists don't have to fear about the AI shitstorm because only those mediocre ones will get filtered.

I prompted it. I willed an art that is about your mom getting plowed by Megatron to exist. If I don't prompt, I can still draw it by hand and said art will still exist. The means to create the image with prompting is not the same as in a traditional manner where I had to do it by hand but with careful NLP text input. Prompting or not, the end result is still my work. If I don't will the art to exist, it will not exist. By that criterion I am the creator of the image and it is my work.

All the assets generated from DALLE3 or Midjourney aren't perfect and contains a lot of AI artifacts and are best to be used as some 50-75% opacity masked layer in your actual work for either tracing or reference. But did you, a moronic artBlack person, ever thought about the insane helpful use cases of them? Nope. And you completely missed my point. Treating AI generated imagery as a "tool" in digital art is like using the console in a game to give yourself infinite resources and health. You can still complete the game (picture), but you've sucked all the reward and sense of accomplishment out of it.
