They fell behind the West massively and are finding any big tech fad to latch onto, AI included.

shit man it feels like yesterday when i would switch the tv to jap channels and be amazed by all their cool shit. it’s crazy how they became irrelevant in many fields beside automobiles and anime

It's probably better that way. Technology trends have seemingly ruined a lot of aspects of society in recent decades. People buying new smart devices every year only to use them to waste money getting exploited and angry via some software as a service.

I’m pretty sure that Japanese society has already been ruined

they had that cool public bathroom shit a while back but I think that has more to do with an absence of vandalism than anything

Mostly the same but the neets are more plentiful and visible than here.

I've actually seen non ai youtubers adopt ai voice like it was nothing here you basically have either ai channels or deep fake meme channels that only use it not just normal people

They are still leaders in video game tech, automation, and robotics, what do you mean?

          >automation, and robotics, what do you mean?
Yea but automating everything is not fancy enough for him he wants an Ai that collects his data.

Their robots are nothing special anymore. I've noticed what Japan is good at is producing small parts like lenses and hardware, but not whole products

          >gayme tech
Absolute massive meme. They don't make the chips, they don't make the circuit boards, they don't even assemble the parts.
          >automation, and robotics
Nip automation and robotics isn't leader in anything

Law wise it's perfect, only one with actual laws permitting AI training with pirated data. EU is fricked for AI training, but US could be fricked by some geriatrics on the supreme court at any moment.

Talent wise ... who knows. I can't read moonrune and japs can't write english.

      that's the point
the EU and the USA pass legal agreement with japan, so that they use pirated data for free of legal repercussion...

Why would their take on tech matter at all?

Depends on what you mean by "West". If you mean Euroidia, then much more. If you mean America, then about the same as far as the government goes. But at any rate, you will never be Japanese so I don't know why you ask this question.

they know they will have to make do with a rapidly declining number of working age people and need to use every means to increase productivity to maintain their standard of living while supporting their massive elderly population.

Meanwhile the west is happy to import every single jeet, african and chicom if it keeps GDP and property/share markets up even if GDP per capita dies and the average person's standard of living collapses to third world levels.

Japanese respect culture is very big on not using things that don't belong to you so it's inherently against AI due to the way people train them. Every Japanese art site has banned making money off of AI already

They don't make money off doujinshi and fiercely report any made from IPs that the directly say not to make them ( ex. Uma Musume)

Yes and they dont make a profit on the books, doujinshi specifically they charge a price to break even after printing and convention space. In fact, most doujin artists go in the red for any event.

You're moronic, probably a crazy weeb, certainly have a twisted view of Japanese.
