AI will cause a recession

AI will replace most high paying white collar jobs.

Most wagies will be forced to work near minimum wage in shitty retail jobs or food jobs that have unlimited demand.

This will cause the purchasing power of consumers to go down, and thus cause a recession.

All the physical labor jobs pay less than white collar. Even trades is not safe when it is flooded and saturated with ex-white collar workers.

Coders are already being phased out an alarming rate.

So suck my wiener STEMgays, my "bullshit humanities" degree is still gonna keep me in my comfy six figure office job while yours is sending you a one way ticket to the poor house in the mail as we speak, you fricking nerds. Never talk down to anyone again because you "know how to code" or "are a programmer" - those skills are now functionally obsolete.

Humanities are even easier to automate and then generate/replicate. Images, music, videos, doesn't really matter. They're much simpler than STEM.

replacing you is easier than replacing a senior software engineeer as your job is easier and requires less talent, knowledge and expertise
          >code monkey
in your own words what does "t. director , mba" mean to you?

Except the few remaining humans aren't gonna want HR to be automated, whereas coding itself will be completely automated. Therein lies the flaw in your little logic. Human systems require human interface, code based systems don't.

"Im in charge of code monkeys so I'm too valuable to be replaced!" isn't a real argument. If there's no humans left to be in charge of, guess what, your job means nothing. Enjoy a future of poverty.

Software engineers are being targeted heavily by AI because we have the highest salaries of white collar jobs, while also being replaceable by AI.

Make no mistake, paper pushers and people that write text can be replaced by AI even easier, but there is less profit in doing so since these jobs have lower salaries than software engineers.

I'll tell you why everyone was told STEM would help. It's so that they all have a tiny bit of mathematical magic within themselves so they can adapt to the incoming technological revolution. It was to craft magitek knights. :3

Silly goose this would cause the markets to go down since consumers will not be buying their products. This would cause the s&p 500 overall to go down.

However, NVIDIA is special since it is the ai hardware company and it sells to companies not consumers.

You underestimate me. For you see. I crafted consumers. :3
That's right. I made consumer bots. Capable of buying in bulk and rationalizing enormous payment models. It was in order to destroy all political opposition and instigate a complete restructuring of the world governing political bodies into a single unified conglomerate. What you are about to see Blighty, is how to take over a planet, without firing a single shot.

I said that in my second paragraph.

Most companies would go down in market cap, but NVIDIA would do fine.

What if I told you that you are already in one. And that AI and Robots will just produce and consume for each other in their own economy with no need for humans. Don't worry the government will give you CBDC-UBI free drugs and injection sites to pass the time until MAID.

Rich people still need slaves to do physical labor. Humanoid robots are not developed yet.

There is also the pleasure of being a king and knowing you rule over peasants. I suspect the wealthy may keep some alive to keep the system going, while also having the enjoyment of knowing they rule over them.

Why not use this golden parachute to leave society and money behind forever and go back to homesteading? Growing your own food, living and dying by the sweat of your own brow, is infinitely better than earning a slaves wage. I won't ever go back to work and I am willing to starve to death instead of using money for anything ever again. I share this life with a bunch of homosexual cowards.

It's the only solution that doesn't involve living in pods eating bugs. "Society" has never once produced anything to make life better, instead all it produces are ways to make life more miserable and unlivable.
