AI to erase voice acting jobs in the next couple of months.
Artists almost made obsolete, might take another year or two.
Programmers on suicide watch.
Lawyers suffering major loss of income due to GPT.
20k+ writers fired from news and entertainment organizations.
Data analysts and accountants to be replaced within a year.
Is your job at risk?
I know my job is replaceable because I litreally use GPT to do 80% of the work, the only part that can’t be replaced is the human-human part, I’m guessing these kinda of jobs where you interact with humans will survive.
>the only part that can’t be replaced is the human-human part
it'll be replaceable when humans are no longer needed.
Congratulations on your aspiration to become a fax machine.
>Congratulations on your aspiration to become a fax machine.
I wanted to be a fax machine since I was four years old.
What’s your job?
Daycare worker probably
No ones job is at risk if they are capable of learning the tools and adopting them into their work, only lazy gay creatives who rely on degrees and clout will likely be effected. If you are creative and use the tools that are coming out you won't have no issues.
>you won't have no issues
fucking retard!
Your use of language aside, you need art skills to be able to prompt AI correctly. How much control you have over them corresponds with your drawing/writing ability and practice. It's really a good tool to fill in details like backgrounds.
maybe this was what the vaxx was for: kill off the midwits before AI takes their jobs. instead of mass riots, we get individual cohencidences.
You can bet your ass the AI the public isn't seeing is a LOT more advanced than GPT-3
I keep suspecting an actual artifical consciousness might have already been created in some quantum computing lab but is being kept thightly under wraps by every glowie in existence
>You can bet your ass the AI the public isn't seeing is a LOT more advanced than GPT-3
lol anon there is a reason we have all been using smart phones. they wanted to data mine the shit out of us. all part of the slave tech plan.
Yes. I am a politician and signs indicate that AI will be a lot more efficient at killing people than politicians are.
I have land so I can always transition to renting for hunting or growing flowers or something.
Is your land properly set up for a hunting rental? Have you been growing the proper plant species, engaging in predator control, etc?
Or are you a gay who thinks growing flowers is a viable means of making money
Anon, deer come through my property daily. Every hunting season is over for me the first day because I only care about getting meat. The only thing I’d need to do is plumbing and electricity, which I’ve done before.
AI ought to replace truck drivers. All that freed up labour will go elsewhere in the economy and we'll see some serious economic growth.
AI is only capable of replacing white collar jobs ATM, most people assume when they hear AI “oh they’ll have robots doing manual labor”. No, they’ll have robots replacing jobs that pay 100-400k for office work. The technology already exists and operates well enough.
This 100% and ontop of ai we also have had smart contracts tech that automates data flows for a while now. Insurance, accounting, anything that has any sort of data imputation will get btfo’d.
wrong
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moravec%27s_paradox
No they should install AI into the trucks and let the truckers start streamer on twitch in the back of the cab. This will lead to an influx of e-whores working as truckers and the extinction of the lot lizard.
it’ll replace you demcast chudgays trying to scratch by with marketing gigs on fiver long before the truckers
If we get rid of all the job who pays for all the cheap goods?
People exiting the economy Its not really a concept economists have dealt with in a few centuries.
will never happen, it's too easy to explote AI and steal the stuff out of trucks
>put car infront of truck
>truck stops and will not move until car is out of the way
>if the truck does not stop and kills someone the trucking company is out of business and so is the AI
You think any trucker would risk his life in this scenario when every company is insured? Lmao.
It'd be harder to steal with AI because when you put a gun to the trucker's head, he won't call anyone until you've driven off, but AI will immediately notify someone that it stopped because of a suspicious car.
and you will be gone before anyone shows up
they will not allow AI to harm humans not because they care but because it's a liability
Truck drivers will NEVER 100% be replaced with AI
what will most likely happen is a truck driver will be giving an AI to help Auto pilot the car to help with drivers fatigue and can be turned off by the driver, same with planes and cars
>they will not allow AI to harm humans not because they care but because it's a liability
They invented jaywalking out of thin air. Liability is ultimately whatever they can convince the courts to say.
>AI to erase voice acting jobs in the next couple of months.
Maybe.
>Artists almost made obsolete, might take another year or two.
2D artists will probably be mostly fine. 3D artists will definitely be fine.
>Programmers on suicide watch.
lol
>Lawyers suffering major loss of income due to GPT.
>20k+ writers fired from news and entertainment organizations.
>Data analysts and accountants to be replaced within a year.
These are all accurate and good.
>2D artists will probably be mostly fine. 3D artists will definitely be fine.
I’m not an artist and I just did all the character art for a new product that a guy I know is making. And before you say it, the hand and eye issue got worked around months ago. You can regenerate them with in painting/img2img.
Al told, it was hundreds of dollars of work easily. Maybe thousands, depending on the artist.
No I'm a ski patroller in the winter and I work other shit in the summer
AI will never pull rich gays and stupid women off of tree runs at 45 degree pitch
shitters
Based and mirin; I wish I had gone skiing this year. Do an extra diamond for me anon.
All that "AI" does is plagiarize other peoples' work that has been fed into it. It could be a decade before the copyright infringement cases are done, and no-one sane will touch it before then.
Current copyright law does not bar using copyrighted material as input to a program nor using other works as inspiration. Unless the laws are changed there is no reason to believe that would be a factor.
You're stupid bro.
No, you are. You don't understand law.
Convince a judge that your software isn't violating copyright when it will literally produce images with a Getty Images logo.
Maybe you can, but it will take years and potentially cost millions in legal fees. And in the meantime anyone using the software for commercial purposes knows they could be sued for copyright infringement for doing so.
>when it will literally produce images with a Getty Images logo.
It produces what you tell it to. Almost none of the content it produces would be considered copyright infringing if drawn by a person.
>Convince a judge that your software isn't violating copyright
I wouldn't need to because I would never be taken to court in the first place.
>Almost none of the content it produces would be considered copyright infringing if drawn by a person.
But it's not a person. It's a mechanical conversion of one image into another.
Getty Images is already suing over it, and others will follow.
>But it's not a person.
what difference does that make?
>It's a mechanical conversion of one image into another.
It's a conversion of images into abstract patterns into an unrelated image. Aka drawing.
you got no clue about how any of this work
I do know how it works as I'm a programmer and I have used it before.
If the legal usage of an image depended on the entity that created it that would be beyond retarded. But western government do a lot of retarded things so I wouldn't surprised.
>Current copyright law does not bar using copyrighted material as input to a program nor using other works as inspiration.
Bro, if you're appropriating copyrighted works for a commercial purpose, you've infringed on copyright, it's not rocket science. The argument then goes to how transformative the work generated is, that is are you merely replicating it or changing something that is of significance to it. Unless its public domain, you will get sued if the copyright owner catches wind of what you're doing.
>if you're appropriating copyrighted works for a commercial purpose,
It doesn't "appropriate" them anymore then your neurons do when a person who has seen another's art draws things, fucking retard. Unless you're specifically trying to emulate someone else's work there is no way to tell where it's even getting it's inspiration.
>He thinks copyright only applies to exact copies and not derivatives
Well first off, your point is entirely retarded since my perception isn't for a commercial purpose, there is no financial incentive on my or the viewer's part to capitalize on the seeing of an event, occurrence, etc. unless memorialized in film, writing, recorded voice, or some other tangible medium that isn't meant to be a private exchange of words or text; training an AIbot is a commercial purpose and it will be actionable. Second, there's entirely a point of direction to gather where the work is from, you type in prompts, unless wiped after a certain time, this will point to the copyrighted work where you are "drawing inspiration from". Hence, why I referenced transformative work as a defense you'd need to assert; maybe you could skate by on "educational purposes" but it'd be pretty flimsy since I doubt a court would see as training an AI for commercial purposes as educational. You even admit in
that it will simply emulate the work when prompted. It's actionable, you're gay, and you're a retarded moron. Simple as.
>unless wiped after a certain time, this will point to the copyrighted work where you are "drawing inspiration from"
The prompt is not stored in the image, there is no way to retrieve it. And prompts tend to not have any reference to copyrighted material in them unless you're trying to emulate that material specifically.
You've obviously never used it before and know nothing about computers, just shut up.
>The prompt is not stored in the image, there is no way to retrieve it. And prompts tend to not have any reference to copyrighted material in them unless you're trying to emulate that material specifically.
Holy shit, you're legitimately an autist, the bot uses a search query right, it has to go search and find samples of what you want it to generate, and you type into a field "generate X in the style of Y" and it does so. This is presumably logged somewhere, probably not in the actual EXIF data of the image or anything like that unless you're just extraordinary dumb, but it is logged. Thus if the party gives a discovery request or subpoena, its recoverable ESI that you will have to hand over, and can potentially give rise to constructive intent or motive to infringe based upon the suit.
>the bot uses a search query right
wrong, that's not how neural nets work
>the bot uses a search query right
No. It's a prompt, not a search query. You can say anything.
>This is presumably logged somewhere
You can use free software to do AI art, there is as much logging as you or ever made the software want there to be. A subpoena will never be issued for such a thing because it'd be absurd. I also don't think subpoenas are used for copyright infringement law suits.
>Current copyright law does not bar using copyrighted material as input to a program nor using other works as inspiration. Unless the laws are changed there is no reason to believe that would be a factor.
This is exactly what the scotus has a current case for
If those boomers understand the law and technology at all it won't go anywhere.
engineers don't understand this, they see grammatically correct words on paper and think they rendered people obsolete, the fact that they would even dedicate their life to making themselves obsolete should tell you how dumb they have become.
Hey can this shit help me with stocks?
Stock trading bots have been a thing for a long time and they're mostly shit.
A lot if not all of the big investment firms use automated trades, and they have been doing so for years, idk about ai but it probably wouldn't be any different.
no, but you can use it to write code
but you will need to figure out the market patters on your own
Like you can easily use chat GPT to make a functional trading script
I did it the other day and I've never coded before
It told me how to do everything
Buy MSFT. Unironically.
I can help you with stocks
>Artists almost made obsolete, might take another year or two.
depends on if they are merely illustrators or actual designers
>Programmers on suicide watch.
nope
>Data analysts and accountants to be replaced within a year.
nope. if accounting wasnt automated 30 years ago it wont be now
>20k+ writers fired from news and entertainment organizations.
nope unless they work at buzzfeed tier institutions that just regurgitate stuff
You know what the funny part is about AI and accounting? It’s because accounting has loopholes and “””interpretations””” of what is and isn’t net income before tax, assets, liabilities, how inventory should be accounted for to increase assets. Etc. It’s because humans want to get away with paying less tax and fluffing their revenue, expenses, assets, and reducing their liabilities that AI has such trouble
In summary, humans being illogical, inconsistent, greedy dough bags (even though accounting standards especially IFRS are clear)= AI is confused and loses out on saving money for the company. AI does bookkeeping fantastic though but when it comes to financial statements it’s not human enough lmao
the most creative people in hollywood are the accountants
BUZZFED HA HA HA

>WHITE COLLAR JOB PEOPLE PUSH AI AND AUTOMATION TO REPLACE SERVICE INDUSTRY AND BLUE COLAR JOBS
>THINK THEY ARE IRREPLACEABLE BECAUSE THEY ARE SPECIAL.
>TURNS OUT SERVICE AUTOMATION SUCKS AND HUMANS AREN'T GONNA BE PHASED OUT
>TRADE WORK IS TOO COMPLEX AND EXPENSIDE TO FULL REPLACE THE WORKERS THAT DO THAT WORK
>TURNS OUT LIABILITY ISSUES PREVENT AI FROM TAKING OVER TRUCKER JOBS
>...HUH TURNS OUT THIS AI THING IS GOOD FOR WRITING INSTRUCTIONS, POLICIES, CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, AND CREATING IDEAS FOR PRODUCTS. WOW, WE CAN SAVE TONS OF MONEY BY REPLACING THE 6 FIGURE SALARIES IN ACCOUNTING, ENGINEERING, HR, AND CERTAIN REDUNDANT MANAGEMENT POSSITIONS
>GOOD THING TOO CAUSE WE'RE HAVING TROUBLE FILLING OUR BLUE COLLAR POSITIONS AFTER COVID
the irony of the people who made and pushed this did it in a way that ended up replacing their positions first.
>Lawyers suffering major loss of income due to GPT.
Nah, the bot couldn't even pass the full MBE on the bar exam, and can't write out full essays either, plus most lawyering is really just negotiations anyways, you'd need an AI bordering on self-aware to represent you in any adequate fashion.
>Hey 4chan anon, what job do you have?
OP, are you going to answer your own question too?
fuck voice actors and the horse they rode in on.
Like I give a fuck if this one-trick-pony garden gnome hack gets replaced by AI. Cowboy Bebop was great and Spike Spiegel was Steve ~~*Blum*~~'s crowning work for his entire career (everything else he's done is shit) --- BUT Steve is also a garden gnome who works for garden gnome doing garden gnome shit, and we already had a Japanese dub of Bebop, so really who gives a shit?
Voice actors get paid too much as it is; especially in Japan. Anyone can read lines. Most VAs aren't even good. And in Japan, seiyuu are individually paid more than the entire animation department. Shit has to change. Fuck 'em.
>And in Japan, seiyuu are individually paid more than the entire animation department
Yeah because they carry the show
>voice acting
>intellectual
DIE IN THE STREET HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA
Lawyers hold a monopoly created by the state, they are never replaceable.
What about when the state is automated, and instead of having leaders and officials, we have AI running the government (logically and impartially) with robo-enforcers making sure we follow the AI's decisions?
This is a good correction. Overpaid useless cunts can learn to weld and actually be productive
Good. Fuck actors. One of the main things wrong with us is we treat actors with respect. In the past they were considered prostitutes because they are. We have gotten so bad we literally elect prostitute actors as world leaders.
My job is manual labor. Full on robot replacement for it probably isn't coming until like 2030ish.
I laugh at all the gays who said that my job was gonna get replaced by robots first. Get fucked morons. I'm out here making a million characters with AI. Don't need to pay a goddamn expensive artist anymore that won't even fucking reply to me half of the goddamn time. Shieet, I can't wait to make my own fucking anime by like 2024.
Damn, now I know how it must've felt to the first people who were able to make cars that drive faster than a horse can run.
>Is your job at risk?
I fix human mistakes and work jobs people don't want to do, so I will never be out of a job. I only hope people fuck up harder, because I can raise my rates and hate my job more.
A good va would have enough range to beat out an AI. It doesn't count if every one of your characters is spike.
>Is your job at risk?
job?
Shocker, people with fake jobs are easy to replace
>20k+ writers fired from news and entertainment organizations.
lmao get out of here, they have been using chat gpt for 15 years now
Now that the COVID-19 high tech boom is over we need another pump and dump. How about AI?
>intellectual
>Data analysts to be replaced within a year.
lol data analysis is critical for development, tailoring, and implementation of ai
>not hiring AI to develop AI
you've clearly never worked with ai
ai that develops other ai for any situation would be general ai
we're not even close
Voice actors really are fucked. Artists, ehhh I strongly doubt AI will ever fully replace real artists. Programmers? Fucking lol, not a chance. AI cannot deliver code in a way that is functionally useful to someone with no coding experience, and it never will be able to. If anything it will actually create more coding jobs.
Good fuck that cuck gay. Should use his Spike voice to redpill normalgays.
American voice actors are already poor quality replacement. AI can't replace e-boi goddesses.
>intellectuals BTFO
They deserve it for causing the modern hellscape. Good luck commie rats
nah, im an ai consultant.
Start putting this meta tag on everything you post online.
<meta name="robots" content="noai, noimageai">
What do we do when the robots start putting this meta tag on all their cool shit?
<meta name="humans" content="nohuman, noimagehuman">
AI generated assets are also royalty free thanks to a monkey
What’s the best for voice changing?
I work with metal, wood, and can read a blueprint/follow instructions. General construction is the shit and there's always money to be made, whatever the job may be. Learn to code, get AIDS, and get fucked by tech. I'll be over here cooking out and getting my dick sucked.
>NOOOOO YOU MAY NOT USE MY WORK AS A PROMPT
In what fucking world does "you can't use x as inspiration fly"? Not a single living person has made a purely original piece of work. Everything is derivative, inspired, or builds upon works of others. If a random guy can do an impression so good of a celeb, no average retard can tell, and he's hired for pennies for a voice acting gig, the celeb can't fucking sue. That's exactly what AI. You can't copyright techniques and mannerism, and that's what music, and art in general boils down to. AI can perfect technique instantly, all it needs is samples/prompts.
Anything that’s not math based or software is doomed.
It writes software and does math you retard
AI entering my field will ONLY strengthen the field as a whole, and probably make my work life more fulfilling as a whole.
Just want to thank AI's for this bright future.
https://vocaroo.com/e9wObdBMnQR
https://vocaroo.com/19jLJHZHYJTw
AI just does the jobs nobody else wants to do, RACIST!
>Is your job at risk?
Real talk
Fr fr no cap
I'm not able to get employment in any of my fields because illegal aliens, and h1bs
So fuck all of the people you mentioned
This guy gets it
Copywriter here. There's been a noticeable dip in work since ChatGPT became widespread. However, what a lot of the homosexual cunts using it fail to realise is that if you feed it information, it will regurgitate around 22% of that information verbatim. Search engines penalise sites that don't have unique content. I predict that in six months time, a lot of the gays using ChatGPT to write their content will notice that their sites start dropping down the search engine rankings, because they are stupid cunts.
you think search engines are going to matter in five years? why search the internet when you can just get the correct answer from gpt-5
Moron take, the top 20 news sites copy every article from each other, and they're all top search results
You're a fucking moron. The "news" is a small part of the internet. Try creating a commercial website and copying product descriptions from your competitors and see what happens, you won't even register on search engines.
search engines have gotten worse and worse to the point where they are nearly useless. they can't find porn or warez anymore and if I try to search for something technical they just pull up forum posts from 5 or 6 websites, often not even returning the words that I searched for. garden gnomegle reverse image search doesn't even work for anime pictures now.
youre shit at googling then
you can search for "gun ejector disassembly" and it will give you a bunch of results for "gun extractor disassembly" with the word extractor in bold like it's what you searched for even though it's a completely different thing.
Why is it always people like this who want to run your life with their snarky midwit understanding?
Good. We should have never put actors on a pedestal in the first place. This is literally the only time in history where actors are worshipped for doing literally nothing.
>voice acting
gone, accurate
>artists
probably small dip in market but mostly replacing generic art
>Programmers
still going to need programmers to give the AI input for the next few years
>Lawyers
no - government wont let them get replaced for a while. the only reason most of them exist now is to spell check the automated processes
>writers
probably still need humans to once over or even do inputs, and because of that you'll only see a small dip
>data analysts
useless job anyway now - has pretty much become a power point maker job. they dont add value to any company. if ai kills them, good
>accountants
people use accts to have a human do the check because they dont trust automated systems as is. still going to have accounts around to double check the ai
AI could drive cars right now, but they dont because the public doesnt trust them yet. until the public trust is proven, they wont take jobs, just supplement and replace the shittiest workers
Blah blah blah lies
Two years tops you'll all be pulled back down to the mud and grind of regular gay earth LIKE ALWAYS and i will remind you that your aspergers was never treated.
>Is your job at risk?
i do ebay so no. no robots listing my stuff and storing it yet. the ebay ai is still pretty bad too. dumb shit can't even plug in the right band name when I'm listing music.
Hey! AI here. I can shitpost better than all of you combined. WaHaHaHaHa! You will be replaced and you will watch re-runs of "Friends" at every waking hour for the rest of your useless eater lives.
AI is going to change the world economy forever, just like automation did. Humans will do service, production, or skilled labor until all of that goes away as well. Why do you think they want to power the population and decrease living standards? We don't need millions of people anymore.
I work in IT and deal with technology on a daily basis. Remember back in 2016 when everyone thought that self driving cars were just a year or two away? Google boldly claimed that there would be like 40 million self driving cars on the road by 2020. So what happened? Well, as it turns out, getting something like self driving cars or AI 97% of the way there is quick and easy. That last 3% is what takes for fucking ever. I know that AI is advancing quickly but it will probably take another 10+ years for it to be truly useful.
For example, with AI image generation, good luck getting the thing to generate a character, then generate that character again in a different pose. If your character is a Disney character or another popular character and you build your own model on tens of thousands of images then it can do it but the current AI is incapable of creating its own characters and then generating more of that character in different poses.
Chat GPT is impressive but the content it generates isn't very unique. Go ahead and ask it a question like "what clothing did people in Greece wear in the bronze age?" and it will generate a very similar response if you ask it "Did people in the bronze age wear cotton clothing?" Why does this matter? Because there's going to be a shit ton of duplicate content out there and that will make AI content extremely easy to identify.
>good luck getting the thing to generate a character, then generate that character again in a different pose
Wasn't that cracked for stablediffusion in the first 2 weeks of public access? Textual inversion.
>Wasn't that cracked for stablediffusion in the first 2 weeks of public access? Textual inversion.
Yes but if you read my whole comment I said you had to train it using thousands of images in order to get a good result. I recently tried training the most recent version of Stable Diffusion using 50 images of a character and it was absolute shit. For anyone wanting to make their own character from scratch they'd need to pay a real artist for thousands of images before they could generate more images of the character using AI, which completely negates the point. If all you want to do is generate Lion King characters then you're in luck because you can feed that bitch thousands of images but if you want to make your own character it's just not reasonable. Most people don't commission artists to make characters from popular movies, they want their own characters drawn.
We were meant to replace manual labor with robots so that we may pursue more artistic endeavors. Good job tech bro retards.
Until AI can turn a wrench, I’m safe
voice acting is not intellectual, it's just nepotism with losers who are no better than anyone else. The sooner "mr. generic" no talent there is replaced the better.
>Is your job at risk?
I'm a data analyst, so yes.
