ai is going to take away all jobs

in the next 10 years, most jobs wont exist, because with ai and robots, all jobs will be automated

how are you going to react to never having a job?

the same way i reacted when they said my job would be automated in the next 10 years in 2009, and instead they kept promoting me and now i make 20x more money than i did in 2009 doing pretty much the same job

      >the same way i reacted when they said my job would be automated in the next 10 years in 2009
      stop strawmanning
nobody every said that. i remember 2009. NOBODY said that

explain how ai will outperform everyone, while we currently struggle to even give them proper memory and hack around with rags

the difference between a monkey and a human in intelligence is actually very small
the amount of labour and productivity a monkey contributes to the economy is zero
the amount of productivity a human contributes is a lot
the amount of productivity a genious level human is even more

ai is going to be smarter than all humans, and will be able to mass produce robots soon

thats how it will outpreform you; by being smarter and cheaper and more productive than you

      >robots can barely walk right now, and they are dumb and cant understand you
yeah, thats why we need agi first, then we will see a mass production of robots to do YOUR job

are you mentally moronic? even when i was in college everyone was talking about automation and artificial intelligence. the digital automation scare goes back at least since the 1980s. they said that all wall street bankers would lose their jobs within 10 years. it's been 40+ and they have even higher paying jobs now.

bro in 2009 nobody was talking about ai, stop lying you fricking liar
i dont know when you were in college, but 2009 nobody took ai seriously, you filthy liar kys

          also
          >haha they've always said we'd have this but we dont still!
          really shit tier arguement
just because some people said it would of happened by now doesnt mean its not going to happen in the future

That would be interesting. They were all talking about AI even in the 1970s, so im curious if you live in a shithole?

yeah, i mean they were being developed, but no one took the idea seriously
ray kurzveil predicted all of this in the 1980's, but he's a one off
almost all predictions; early or late, were wrong. thats my point

but now ai is really come into full swing, and you cant just point out anecdotes of people who were wrong as an arguement for ai now, you disengenous clown

        >ai is going to be smarter than all humans, and will be able to mass produce robots soon
now stop talking in metaphors and give facts, on what basis will this work out. what feats in CS and EE need to be accomplished that we have an AI that is smarter than everyone else and also can build up a global supply chain by themselves.

          >what feats
The most important one is the law of thermodynamics. If we just figure out a way to create infinite energy for free, then AI can be useful. Right now it has to be subsidized by large corporations like Google and Microsoft at a loss.

            >The most important one is the law of thermodynamics
thermodynamics is a branch of physics and not a law.

            You are trolling me right?

Nope. AI people truly think that we will just figure out infinite energy and also that there are no diminishing returns to larger compute.

I just found it funny how he cites THE LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS (not knowing what this actually is) and then completely ignores the conservation of energy

No the point is that we just need to break the laws of thermodynamics. Current understanding of physics limits electronics to only doing input output computations, so it literally cannot be intelligent, and it limits how much compute AI can do. The human brain is a million times more energy efficient than electronics can be, so we just need infinite energy to solve that problem

                Anonymous

Yes and the law of conservation of energy just says that right, no free energy out of thin air?

its SO pathetic to compare the development of technology to political struggles
        seriously, your analogies are trash

developments in ai are permanent and getting better
politics always changes, with countries being deleted, born, and power changing. they are in 2 seperate categories you fricking moron

and ai is radically different than everything, because ai is the birth of non-human intelligence that surpasses humans in every cognitifive tast

my job is so much better with AI. relume has this new automatic fleshing out feature for website wireframes. then can send it straight to webflow. no more hardcore fleshing out, just adjustments.
saves me a lot of time and i get to do more fun parts. more money and more projects done. more time spent discussing deals, business, branding, style guides, and addons (like blogs, email servers, or email campaigns).

must suck for normie gays tho. i feel their pain. took me 2 years of getting paid barely anything to get where i am. i will KMS before i return to w2 life.

Most normies are rich entrepreneurs already so they don't feel the pain like they used to. AI made it easier to do business deals.
