I'm a Christian and I make AI platforms for a living at an internationally-renowned tech company. It's code. To find out whether words are similar, we make the word into a vector (think a line, but measuring the speed at which we're drawing it instead of the length) and then compare the angles between lines (cosine similarity). It ends up being, at its core, a really big set of spreadsheets powered by some linear algebra, delivered to you by the same tech used to power the websites that you visit everyday. Stop trying to scare people, or better yet start reading about how shit actually works.
