Yesterday I saw a large, AI generated billboard for a new construction project (pic not related). People said it was "a painting". It wasn't even done very well, it was pretty shit and looked like they just dumped a 10 step generic "man and woman in front of a building" into an upscaler, overlaid some text in front of it and called it a day. It's fricked up.
Normies can't tell that no painter would paint a fricking instagram couple on steroids in a painting for an architecture project. They couldn't even tell the imperfections in the image. They just glossed over all of it.
This is where we're headed. You can call me an autist for recognizing ""AI"" ""art"" but if you think it's in any way aesthetic or "normal" you need to get your brain checked. A world populated with images and videos of this sort will be a shitty world. It's pretty easy to tell AI generated images apart. All you need is a soul.
I am not sure what you're on about. You are fine with your urban world to be plastered with ads, as long as the pervasive manipulative imagery is created by actual human ad agency rats, rather than soulless machines?
We haven't been able to ban spam in real life even with direct ballot measures. But at least I can spot AI art where others can't so I got that going for me.
