      >They never used actual cp to train loras or checkpoints
      Yeah, right

, you don't even need to train it on real children. A model trained exclusively on CSAM would probably give itself away, since it's borrowing heavily from certain types of images or depictions that could probably be identified by users or even law enforcement.

The US Supreme Court actually had impressive foresight on this.
      >pic related

While it's certainly not unfeasible for someone to use CSAM as training material, it wouldn't be something that wouldn't be without risks, nor is it required.

3DCG models, petite adults, 2D pornography, all of these types of images can produce outputs that are just as realistic and satisfactory to put a dent in the CSAM market. It just needs time to thrive, otherwise we'll just be dealing with the same issue quantified exponentially and with a blurrier rationale.

Of course that just makes it harder to explain, that to be unable to generate child pornography, it must not be capable of generating any pornography.
The most likely outcome of this is to place the burden of proof on you that any model in your possession didn't have any illegal content in it.

Stable Diffusion's inputs are image URLs on the clearnet, to be downloaded on the spot during the training process.

Very few of those URLs are definitely tagged with CP-related terms and phrases. Most or all of them are not actual CP. For example, banner ads for Brazilian porn sites where the only "8yo" thing in the picture is maybe the woman's boob job. Clickbait for degenerates that, if anything, should only make generating actual CP harder.

Source: querying the LAION 5+ dataset used in SD's training almost a year ago. Other fun findings: there are more pictures tagged with "wedding" than with "blue." Basically, Stable Diffusion is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHotXbGZiFY and ecommerce listings.

        Cringe.
Both e-girl hentai and AI child erotica should be legal.
Legal CP is proven to keep pedos from molesting children.
        >Milton Diamond, from the University of Hawaii, presented evidence that "[l]egalizing child pornography is linked to lower rates of child sex abuse". Results from the Czech Republic indicated, as seen everywhere else studied (Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sweden, US), that rape and other sex crimes "decreased or essentially remained stable" following the legalization and wide availability of pornography. His research also indicated that the incidence of child sex abuse has fallen considerably since 1989, when child pornography became readily accessible – a phenomenon also seen in Denmark and Japan. The findings support the theory that potential sexual offenders use child pornography as a substitute for sex crimes against children. While the authors do not approve of the use of real children in the production or distribution of child pornography, they say that artificially produced materials might serve a purpose.[2]
        >Diamond suggests to provide artificially created child pornography that does not involve any real children. His article relayed, "If availability of pornography can reduce sex crimes, it is because the use of certain forms of pornography to certain potential offenders is functionally equivalent to the commission of certain types of sex offences: both satisfy the need for psychosexual stimulants leading to sexual enjoyment and orgasm through masturbation. If these potential offenders have the option, they prefer to use pornography because it is more convenient, unharmful and undangerous (Kutchinsky, 1994, pp. 21)."[2]

    >“While we know Congress is aware of concerns surrounding AI, and legislation has been recently proposed at both the state and federal level to regulate AI generally, much of the focus has been on national security and education concerns,” the letter reads. “And while those interests are worthy of consideration, the safety of children should not fall through the cracks when evaluating the risks of AI.”

yes and no, you have to keep in mind the difference between someone who commits a crime and then someone who is a sociopath by nature.

again, see kidnapping, the reason we don't just kill the fricker for kidnapping or rapeing the person is because if the sentence is death regardless, they are more likely to just kill the person to get rid of any evidence.

its the reason that we treat criminals far FAR differently before they commit a violent act, and after they do.

            Anonymous

            >if the criminals who still do the action have no incentive to not go nuclear, why would they not go nuclear?
Because if they do, we not only execute them, but we use the best medical technology available to keep them alive as long as possible so we can torture them as excruciatingly as possible in the most horrific of ways imaginable by the human mind. The choice is death, or wish you were. Sadly, you homosexuals just love your little pedo's so much you'll never let justice occur.

It does actually, hence why you don't see the death penalty for stealing, because that would be cruel and unusual punishment for theft. It has to be cruel or unusual punishment, it's not cruel or unusual to torture pedophiles. But again I'm not surprised you don't want to be tortured to death because you're a pedophile.

There was actually a time where you could be sentenced to death for stealing a horse for instance, but that was before the Supreme Court's ruling in 1976 that stated that it was totally OK to sentence people to death as long as certain standards were upheld (split of trial into guilt and penalty phases with determination of mitigating and aggravating factors, plenty of automatic appeals and so forth). This makes DP cases so bothersome and expensive that legislatures opted to either ban the DP altogether, or only use them in the worst of cases - and even then the penalty isn't supposed to cause unnecessary suffering.

Exactly. Any Black person can simply refuse to talk with the pigs, and that's what the Black person should be doing even if he's guilty, seeing as any confession he gives during a police interview will be given for free and can't be argued for in plea deals. If, however, the Black person shuts up, and the cops have nothing else on him, then there's a good chance he walks without a single charge.

And this one just for completionist's sake:
Cops don't have to Mirandize you, that is, read the Miranda warning (right to remain silent, right to an attorney free of charge, questioning stops as soon as you clearly say "I want to speak with a lawyer" - also it's NOT "Miranda rights", only a "Miranda warning" about your constitutional rights) unless you are in custody. They can simply invite you for a talk without telling you any of that shit and let you dig your own grave, and everything is going to be admissible in court.

In short: never ever EVER talk to the police.

You're confusing police interviews with arrests. If the cops have an arrest warrant or probable cause they can arrest you, and once they do they can use deadly force if you resist. That doesn't prevent you from refusing an interview and asking for a lawyer; all that's gonna happen in that case is that you'll be booked into the local jail (because you've been arrested, after all). You'll then appear before a judge who will appoint legal counsel and set your bond.

I wouldn't care about this if I knew they were ONLY going to ban CP, but the problem is that they'll ban all sex. AI ethicists have shown themselves to be antisexuals who hate all sex. So now I'll be lumped in with pedophile CP generators if I try to have AI milf sex or get it to say something the ethicists deem unwoke.

        >antisex

the current trend is not antisex, but antireproduction.
        >how does this effect my chinese cartoon book pictures

because good looking porn gives you the motivation to find a good looking partner and reproduce. Part of the current agenda for population control is to subvert your natural inclination for sex = reproduction and replace it with sex = recreation. Just like equality quietly morphed into equity, sex being solely for pleasure is the new normal they are trying to social engineer. This plays into the childfree life style they promote which helps normalize LGBTQ. If sex is only for fun, then it wont matter if you are gay, or asexual, or trans. If, in principle, the purpose of sex is to not make babies, then anything goes as long as the state allows it.

and they dont even have to enforce it realistically. as long as its on the books as a tool to use, then they can add it to the list of trumped up charges whenever the state wants to move on someone for whatever reason.

But letting people have recreational sex with AI would promote that mindset, so it's not that. I think it's just because AI is controlled by israelites and Indians, two groups who tend to be traditionalist and sex-negative.

There are furry models, trained on furry art, that are absolutely terrible at realistic stuff. There are (human-centered) realistic models, not trained on anything furry, that suck at furry stuff. There are known merges that, using only those models as ingredients, can generate photorealistic furry stuff that was impossible with either of the original models, more so, photorealistic furry creatures that simply don't exist to begin with and are entirely synthetic. This has been done, it's not a theoretical scenario, it's not an experiment related to what's being discussed here, and it can be replicated.

Point is, the idea that models like those they want to ban could only exist if they were trained on the real deal is simply preposterous. It's false. It's a malicious lie. It's not about protecting anyone, it's just the millionth case of control for the sake of control using the "think of the children" bullshit as an excuse.

I was just thinking about this. How much of the population are actually pedophiles? I would say it is less than 1% but even if its higher like 2%, and we already have tools to deal with these """"people"""" why is there always such a knee jerk reaction? Control. When its a slow news day, attack pedophilia and pass laws to take more freedom and privacy from normal citizens.
    >if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear
I have nothing to hide, and I am not a pedophile. I run Windows 11 with full telemetry because I don't care. I am not going to waste my energy hating on less than 1%. Seems like a monumental waste of energy. I hate sin in every form and view it as a sickness that needs to be addressed for sure. Chipping away at freedoms is not the way. They set up all these laws because they know it affects so little people and most people wont care or celebrate them for doing it. I don't hate pedos because I don't hate the rest of the LGBT and I want everyone to repent and be saved by Jesus. I would rather them spend the resources to deal with the Black person problem we currently face. They won't because that costs money.

I tell you this right now, most cops I know are getting ready for a shtf situation. They are going to go home and arm themselves and stick together with their families and loved ones. All this is a slide event to keep your eyes off of what they are actually doing.

      >how does this effect my chinese cartoon book pictures

because good looking porn gives you the motivation to find a good looking partner and reproduce.

This is saddening. It's a blow to my heart every time I meet a nice woman, even if I don't want to date her, who has fallen into the brainwashing of not wanting to start a family. Last three that I did date it turned out they didn't want to have kids (or any more kids). It's fatiguing beyond belief. I'll have my own family someday but damn society is fricked.
