>becoming

i don't understand how can it be so bad despite looking pretty much fine
all of it looks so generic that even the most generic human art is by far better
i suspect this won't change, ever
i literally can't stand looking at any of it, bothering too look at an ai generated anime drawing feels like a massive waste of time
>i don't understand how can it be so bad despite looking pretty much fine
AI can be good
But
People who spam AI don't know how to make art
People who can actually do art don't spam AI
I've never cared about art, human or AI.
Climbing a mountain gives me all the aesthetic pleasure I could ever need, nothing on a screen could ever compare.
Except there's different kinds of aesthetic pleasures to see. People in the 1600s were still discovering so many places, things, and ideas and yet still found beauty in canvas art. Which is how the renaissance was even able to happen. I agree that getting views of nature is important though
You can generate some pretty wild stuff if you care to. It's just that most who use it have the most basic bitch sense of aesthetics possible and think anything that deviates from marketable schlock looks bad and so won't.
I've tried but it quickly became boring for me too, like anything I can appreciate it more when theres some effort behind it, I have more of an attachment to my own shitty drawings than anything I've generated with AI, same goes for stuff that others have made too
Found a series of images the other day where the artist had uploaded them alongside the note >"Sorry, I can't mass produce them, it's too expensive and consumes too much time to make more."
AI art is still gated by compute, so the cost of time and electricity. Many things that AI artists really want to do, such as high res fields of flowers/grasses aren't doable at all because of the cost of running a PC long enough.
The good stuff is yet to come but in the meantime hard to produce and drowned out by mass produced easy to upload content. You don't run into much premium quality shit because of just sheer numbers. Low res low detail fuzzy stuff can be made 1 million times quicker than high res high detail on realistic stuff like plants especially.
I work at a pawn shop
Art in general is a dying market
Used to be you could sell wall art or cool glass items or art deco mid century modern stuff
Now it just eats fuckin shelf space and you sit on it for years and have to practically give it away, if you're lucky
People contently try to bring in nice artwork and I have to refuse it unless it's a limited edition painting, not a print
Thanks for your insight anon, I've wondered what the other side thinks of all these prints just taking up space on the floor. My girlfriend's mom loves art for the sake of art but nowadays she just gets whatever's at Marshall's when she feels like adding to a wall in their guest room or whatever. To her it doesn't really matter what the art is, just that it's art.
I personally kind of hate having a cheap print on the wall though. real paintings are much more appealing imo, being able to see the texture of the brush strokes gives it some depth and presence where large flat prints feels like hanging a placemat on the wall.
Once upon a time art was an actual luxury item, made by craftsmen using labor that didn't require a hand-to-mouth existence. Then for a century or two it still had that mystique and was eagerly acquired by newly prosperous proles eager show their new status (witness the Chinese who are still in that mode). But in the land of infinite production and infinite availability, all of that evaporates. It has to. There's nothing special at all about this blop of brush strokes versus that one 99.9999999999% of the time.
AI generation is just the final nail in that coffin, and odds are it will take away the last bits of marketability of the jobbers who disdain their paid work and spend their off hours fantasizing about a status that hasn't meant much for over half a century at this point.
Needs more integration with LLMs. I don't want to bother fiddling with the prompts to get my result, I should be able to just tell it to generate a set of images x girl in y scenario in z style and its done.
If I wanted to put in effort I would have just learned to draw
not me
It always was.
Art in general has been boring for the last 20 years, probably longer but I have no reference.
regular art has been boring for a while now too
What's up with her left breast?
You mean her lack of nipple? I sucked it right the fuck off, anon. Bitch was screaming and crying up all night.

The people that made great art had pride in their people and their craft.
Modernity works to destroy/ has destroyed what made great art.

Pretty much this.
You just need to pour your sovl into the prompt.
It always was.
It's nearly impossible to get it to do good porn
Anything besides 1girl frontal view creates man made horrors
solo chads won
>solo smutt
I don't understand how people look at duo porn
You're basically jerking off to a dude
I fap to girls masturbating to porn
You've never used LoRA models before, did you?
Is Lora training still fucking annoying or is there an easy GUI now without having to set 100 options
It should be pretty easy with this guide.
https://civitai.com/models/22530
Bruh get some models and Loras. Only stock SD or other old models suck like that

as long as I can keep gooning to it idc if it's "boring"
Nah
good
>Becoming boring
>AI calculated a result from all the art collected
it's not the AI, it's all the shit artists who use the same relaxed pose
This.
>why am I bored with the 10^23rd repetition of an anime girl in the same pose with the same expression?
It's only as boring as the prompter's imagination.
yeah
tried webui but still boring even porn pics
maybe because most of them are bodyshots (head + body)
Imahine Yor bringing you breakfast like that~

It isn't boring. You're boring. That's the whole issue. Generating the same boring anime junk is boring.
>chuds finally realising that ai cannot compare to real women.
delicious
>Real woman
That's 100% a man
Stopped doing it last year. Still playing around with sound btw.
>not wandering the infinite latent space with your own finetuned models
imagine getting bored with cumming
It is the definition of boring.
"AI art" was boring from the beginning because the people making it were and are boring.
he doesn't know
Disagree
ai art was boring from the start. it will only be interesting when it will be able to draw nice feet
so you finished off creating images to every possible sexual fantasy you had and decided ai is over
sexo
If ai art is boring then all art is boring because ai is better

I am trying my best to generate a picture of trump holding a body pillow. my best so far:
I just control the parameters and then generate 100s of them in batch so that I can get the best ones and fap to endlessly.
add a queen of spades tattoo on her please
idk man im still digging it

Its becoming closer and closer to real art then
