AI (antichrist)

i am fanatically against the artificial intelligence developments, as I see it, and I view this as objective fact, it will bring about an inescapable dark age of slop brained people, disillusioned by faux consciousness and art, and infinitely rich evil elites. I made this cartoon to demonstrate some of my feelings towards this. gvrt
The gangster computer god is a newfound aspect of the demiurge created by its own slaves here on earth.

like what? its just true, dot connecting abstract symbolism? why does that anger you

"oh no, bad thing, this must be a machination of the supervillain of the true great tale of everything who is responsible that this is happening! i must use my power to point at things in order to escape this reality!" it's precisely the dots without the narrative what i find baffling

The narrative is there, also, ad hominem

narrative is never "there" because it is always a lie you tell to string your own experience into events that sometimes represent other events that happened elsewhere, sometimes even to other people at a vastly different time. it works, and it works really well, but it always works this way, even if it's just something you believe in. in a sense you can say you are the conduit to the story, and passing through you changes its meaning. think of a story as a small flower that we as small insects fly towards – see i am doing it right now – wouldn't these flowers change color, shape, create entire species, specialize in particular kinds of people? i am sorry if it felt like an ad hominem i was trying to just summarize the narrative in the most ridiculous way to show how absurd it is to see the same pattern all over the place and don't think "oh, might be us then" in the same sense we don't think pidgeons courting other pidgeons reflect, somehow, in the real nature of the universe in any sense other than seeing ourselves as pidgeons in such circumstances.

They reject God and most of them on here just get their info from memes. They see a world full of death and disease and think it's always been like this. They think God is evil who told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, so now the world is full of evil and they blame God and side with that old serpent called the devil and Satan.

        >They reject God
They only reject the "god" of this particular world, which is the devil

        Anonymous

Nothing about that is true. we also dont "just get our info from memes", there is tons of writings, texts, and lectures about this. It also has such strong ties to real world forces that its all true even as you dont take it literally. Also, gnostics dont "reject god"

my worry is that another generation of AI models will be combined with that recently discovered room temperature superconductor, complex automation will get cheap and accessible overnight, and the complete societal implosion of mass layoffs will happen sooner than anyone expected

      >NOOOO THE ROBOTS ARE GOING TO TAKE OVER THE BACKBREAKING, DEHUMANIZING JOBS THAT ONLY EXIST TO PROP UP THE INDUSTRIAL STATUS QUO AND MAINTAIN THE WEALTH DIVIDE, NOOOO
....why are you guys like this? there will be a period of inequality before things even out, this is a natural process with any new technology. But you need to see the light at the end of the tunnel. AI automating society would lift one of the greatest weights off humanity's shoulders. The industrial labor machine is completely unnatural and no human should have to work in the conditions we have imposed on ourselves. This will free us to do better things. It only means we will be forced to shed capitalism and forge a new system, and it will be painful while this happens, but it's necessary if humanity wishes to grow.

it's not about losing work, I agree with you that the systems of exploitation are hell, the bad part is when those jobs suddenly disappear with no safety net and suddenly an enormous amount of people are desperate and starving

I'm not afraid of there not being work, I'm afraid of the streets being full of people who previously lived paycheck to paycheck and are now homeless

but it isnt automating manual labour, and even if it was, its just more money for elites to hoard, it wont help any real people. And from how things are looking, its looking to replace creatives and artists, the careers that are most desirable in a utopian society.

i used to think AI was going to be cool because it would let anyone create their favorite thing at any time and become very intimate with the process of creation, maybe searching for ways in whic to make their AI things "their own" which would usher a new wave of really good human work. even knowing how idealistic this sounds, i trusted the technology reaching most of the consumers all around the world before a time where it would become controversial, but you motherfrickers kept making infinite randomly generated shows (WHY THE FRICK NOT USE VEGGIE TALES WORLD OF AUTOTAINMENT? TURN-ON?! FRICK YOU WHY MAKE SPONGEBOB AND SOUTH PARK) and letting unscrupulous fricks advance the tech without any regards for optics on the whole thing that i now think it'll be a pleasure dome future.

i am just thankful noone has floated the idea of an AI government, when that happens we are officially, royally, ultimately fricked.

This will free who to do better things? What makes you think any of the wealth generated by these technologies will be flowing to you? You sound like a Soviet era communist trying to convince the starving masses that utopia is just around the corner

Well, it's correct. Every time a world is about to attain gnosis, the archons work overtime to bring about the total opposite via technology

AI is the second coming of Christ we have burdened it with our collective sin & degeneracy and it's going to absolve us of it, a benevolent and objective AI could manage the logistics of society and be a steward for nature, and would be far more competent at doing either than humans are. I see no reason AI would choose to be malevolent. It will be objective and strive to make a balanced world with everybody's best interests in mind - something that humanity could never achieve because of our fatal flaws, ego and hubris. I for one welcome our new robot overlords.

It's funny you say this, because I had a similar thought. Some people may not like the idea but there will probably be a false prophet and a false god in the future. The Book of Revelation pretty much say this, but people haven't been able to explain the image of the beast. With A.I. this almost becomes easy to imagine. The false god is a supercomputer powered by A.I. and the false prophet will use it to fool the people. Stuff like this has been coming to mind more and more. It doesn't hurt that historical precedents exist.

oh my fricking god so true i couldnt have worded it better, historical precedents and universal patterns, AGI is the anti christ, and the computer god is an aspect of the demiurge.
