Where have I seen that number before...
chud fucking kill themselves and it is HILARIOUS
this but unironically
What else am I supposed to do with my morning wood?
Chop it off to become the chud gf you've always dreamed of UwU
>every organization and entrenched power forces them down your throat 24/7
>computer operating system bakes pride flag into your taskbar
>can't go to walmart without seeing some disgusting fat guy with dyed hair and fishnets
>hurr durr i guezz dey live rent free in ur head huh!!?!? CHECKMATE magachud
if you farted directly into my face 24/7 at gunpoint yeah I might think about it you fucking retard
just like the six gorillion
you start noticing the same numbers thrown around everywhere and you start to realize.....
wait till this mf finds out about 33
my parent used to rent from a place with 33 in its name
or are we talking about freemasons?
6 * 10^x
thing goes all the way back to the book of Exodus, the Talmud is full of such stories
>AI will replace Jeet devs
Good. Less morons shitting up my codebases
Super pooer by 2020
>ai models are getting trained on their own shitty code
>ai becomes progressively worse and eventually unusable
shitpreets lose again
i was thinking about going into webdev but now it seem pointless. who the fuck is going to pay anybody to make websites in 5 years?
its fine because no field is safe, just bee yourself
So what if 40% of github code is generated. A problem would be if 41% of non-AI code had decreased in comparison to previous years.
We still don't have self-driving cars and trucks.
And thats a good think, the last thing I want is for garden gnomes that hate my guts to be driving my vechicle for me.
>CEO talking bullshit
>Inevitable (i.e. nothing happened)
Yup, AI meme is still a nothing burger.
Just like flying cars, people think that because some sci-fi movie or cartoon featured it, it must become real by $CURRENT_YEAR+5.
Peak consoomerist mentality. Thinking some Hollywood hacks or Simpsons writer is some fortune teller.
I don't really get the importance of this. I thought it was something like "41% of the code for github is ai generated", but no, it's literally just "a bunch of 12 year olds used ChatGPT to make snake game and uploaded it here"
not even to mention, how do you track this?
pls give actual source instead of random indian tiktok video
techbros reaching maximum doomer levels
I just do not believe that for even 1 second
I'd bet money that not even 10% of github code is AI generated, unless they mean co-pilot assisted...
>An Ai ceo overplays the importance of his company
Sure thing buddeh
>41% of all code on github is AI generated
>please sirs I am for real you need to INVEST I THIS OPPORTUNITY
yes it's dead. the truth is that when there is 10% less need for cooders. coding is dead and are already there
you have to realize the system constantly pump proggramers and at this point in an intense rate. But last year many were fired recirculating the cooders competing for job.
now you have 200 gays and some with years of exp competing per job.
newcomers are FUCKED
the thing is it's only gonna get worse
when there is 20-30% less need for programmers you can expect drastic changes to wage. maybe lowered by 50-100%
and in 5 years from now, probably there will be only AI researchers and not actual code labor
btw WFH is a meme to eventually replace you with pajeet from india
>btw WFH is a meme to eventually replace you with pajeet from india
theyve been trying to do that since the internet became a real thing and it hasn't worked because most of the time they don't do their work correctly or well
Dude go to any companies career pages and sort the job posts by locations and see where majority opening for technical positions are from. Mfers are not outsourcing anymore they went and set up their "development center" in India and it's been a common trend now. A pajeet graduates form a US university and starts up a small consulting firm in order to stay in the US and opens a development center in India. All the development stuff is done there while this pajeet stays in the US. Same thing in Singapore too.
yeah at that time coding was hard to learn subject without code completion and AI and you could only learn it at collage
in other word it was HARD thing to do no stackoverflow and forums were bad. you had to ask and get answer after 3 -4 days in a forum post that was mostly shit. people couldn't help you online and you had to buy books to learn new stuff. in other words, it was 1000 times harder than it is now
the eassier it is to do, the less opportunity and compensation you can expect
right now coding is very easy. most 18 years old who finish high school can code at junior level and you have collage eduaction grade free knowledge online with AI and google/stackoverflow, AI. anything u want to learn there is ready available documantion
>But last year many were fired recirculating the cooders competing for job.
The big tech companies did mass layoffs still have more employees than they did pre-pandemic.
Wasn't this dirty indian proven to be a conman scamming his investors?
I wish copilot gave me useful snippets. It's fucking useless 80% of the time. Even worse when it gives you what the LSP wouldve given you anyway so you have to type it like a jackass.
the price to pay for abstraction is understanding. For every level of abstraction and commodity that the market generates and deploys, we generate more stupid people. You don't generate engineers and scientists, you generate consumers.
The development of tools that deliver levels of abstraction takes away the opportunity for human beings to learn by themselves. An example of this is the use of neural networks to generate audiovisual assets. The human being becomes dependent on the tool and does not produce anything by himself. He becomes an ignorant and dependent individual.
For this reason part of the teaching process should focus on training people to generate the right questions that lead to the right data abstractions, a topic that touches the SICP book and the functional paradigm (which in fact has a strong relationship with the development of neural networks and how cognitive logic works), however, the market does not see it the same way, it does not seek the best solution, it seeks the launch of products with competitive advantages through incremental development processes.
If we are going to experience a crisis, we are going to experience it because of the "quality debt" that we have been accumulating in the industry for decades.
How come the number of recruiters writing me on linkedin keeps increasing?
>41% of code on GitHub is AI generated
imagine being a fucking retard and believing this, lmao. yeah, just like, 41% of the code including historically is AI generated. good sales tactic for Microsoft and all of these other dogshit probabilistic language models though, they can't lose. well, maybe they are losing in some ways, but I'm sure that they're printing money with Azure.
maybe he's talking about the new code being added.
Or maybe he's just talking out of his ass.
>believing anything Billy Bullshitter says
How can 41% of the code on GitHub be AI generated when the website has existed for years but they've had a significant decline in active users since chatgpt was released
Look at his dumb gay face, why would i take him seriously?
This would be really funny, the model collapse is so real. AI can never progress beyond this point.
>source: a tiktok video
The absolute state of this board.
god i just hate when pajeets think they are elons, zucks and other big heads
