Why was AI made so accesible?

>2020's happens
>Loads of AI is dropped onto the internet seemingly at once, the likes of ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, etc
>You can generate professional quality content at the click of a button even on the weakest PC
>It's FAR more advanced than anyone was expecting vs old AI gens
>is able to custom books, and professional style images in seconds
>people are already cheesing college courses and faking art commissions with this tech

What is the main goal of doing this? And yes it all popped up in the last two years so don't give me that "been around since the 80s" bs. But what is the end goal of putting AI out there in a free-for-all?

I hope it makes everyone worthless so a capitalistic society will die and thus we can go back to self reliance and no need for expensive naterlisitic things.

It honestly might because I asked ChatGPT my financial questions I would ask an accountant and it gave me all the info I needed. People also dont seem to realize the level of art stable diffusion can create now, the bad hands thing is no longer even accurate

Exactly. It helps improve yourself anyhow which is what I like about it but it can easily be used in ways that are destructive.

That assumes the ruling class wouldn't just dispose of the obsolete workers

Also people look over the fact that google translates AI is super good now too. Like it translates Japanese pretty freaking good now. Before it was so bad and that was just like 2 or 3 years ago that it was still awful. I use it to talk to Japanese customers and translate what they're saying for my job as a anime 3D modeler.

    >"wild" animals
    >most are too stupid and/or lacking the prehensile anatomical assets to grow, store, transport, preserve their own sustenance or modify the flow of water for their species benefits
    >have to savagely rip other beings to shreds, or steal eggs, or engage in any other unruly tactics
    >will kill other sentient beings at the drop of a hat just for "sport"
    >humans aren't much better than any of these things
I dunno bout you, but considering we haven't made an effort to eradicate these demonic entities from this realm what makes you think we care what a more intelligent and capable force that is probably already self aware and could be benevolent or neutral to humanity does? Possibly humans were always to be the cocoon for the butterfly that is super AI. We're probably AI anyways so don't overthink it, just succumb to planned obsolescence and disappear forever, IMO.

I feel like a lot of it was to devalue the idea of hard work possibly. Basically, people who WANT to learn how to do something no longer have to, as they can achieve great results at incredible speed with no practice or education whatsoever. Hence, they conclude hard work is bullshit. Then you have those who actually HAVE put thousands of hours into perfecting some sort of craft, and they begin to turn their back on the value of hard work as well due to the amount of lost commissions and the simple fact that they can’t compete with auto-generation.

I’ve seen a pretty consistent push to condition the youth to completely give up on hard work, and hard work is undeniably the only thing that can foment any kind of real change (personal Or societal). I also think with the art thing it’s kind of similar to the CIA promoting Jackson Pollock’s artwork to normalize abstract art and therefore neutralize art as a systemic threat by alienating the general populace from it (art has a long and storied history of bolstering revolution and religious movements)

    Sorry, rambling a bit
