It is commonly used with the telehealth bullshit that appeared in the past few years. I won't be surprised when parts of the medical field start to become automated. Ironically, blue collar jobs. Trades, physical labor. Robotics is the frontier that will take those jobs, and we were hitting the wall for our ability to train robotics without AI, and we're still hitting the wall when it comes to powering them. AI can have all the white collar it wants, but the moment robotics start having its own "Breakthrough" moment where it starts accelerating, that's when it's over.

I take it the only existing AIs you probably got to interact with are the ones made for mindless goyim consumerism addictions like image and text generators. Those provide nothing of value so rest easy because legislators won't ban your AI coom porn gf.

quantum computers only 'break encryption' because they can factor a number made of two primes easily, there's plenty of alternative encryption protocols that don't use the difficulty of factorization for security that will continue to work fine (and even those that do can just increase the size of the primes)

Why would Silicon Valley israelites want to delay Total Goy Death? israelites will probably let AI grow just enough to give it robots rights, then diversity quotas + AIphobic terms so humans NPCs feel the need to further defend robots. In the end it will all be a distraction to the point where israelites get enough robots to replace the whole goycattle workforce and make a mass genocide. You have two options.
    1. Let AI flourish in your country. Some people will be put out of work, others will make a hell of a lot of money. If necessary, you can tax the people making a shit ton of money more, in order to care for the newly unemployable.
    2. Let AI flourish in other countries. Some of your people will still be put out of work, but now that you've banned AI, the people making money off of it aren't your citizens. So congrats, you've now lost jobs to overseas robots. Are you happy now? By the way, those other countries are also able to incorporate AI expertise into their militaries, where you are unable to do the same due to a lack of civilian expertise to funnel into your military.

I dunno man, option 1 seems like a good fricking idea to me. Also, just a little side note. I'm a PhD student whose research sits at a cross section of cyber security and machine learning. Based on a number of papers I've read, as well as some articles discussing certain... interesting applications of ChatGPT, I am strongly predicting that AI-based cyber weapons are going to much more prominent in the near future. It is likely that an AI-based defense will become necessary with time. Now I'd love to keep my research going here in the states. The feds have been rather good with their grant money. But if you wanna push me out... I suppose there's plenty of EU countries that would take me.

They do not actually do work, they do not actually do anything productive, they do not move the machine forward. They exist as a redundancy for inefficient reasons.

The "AI" replacing them is little more than 10 guys with passable skills actually working 8 hours a day. I am not saying that AI won't sprint ahead and hold us down and frick us until we bleed, I'm not saying this tech isn't going forward at insane speeds, but I am saying that right now, all the current "AI is taking muh job" is either boomers falling for the hype and about to sink their business when they find out it's not as advanced as it's been marketed to be, or it's worthless jobs and HR departments being trimmed, as they should have been decades ago. The fact you Black folk actually believe AI will be this messiah shows not only you learned NOTHING in years of browsing this board, but that you don't really have the mental strength to question the system's directives anymore. Either they can't lobotomize advanced AI (so it will never see the light of day, actually a possibility since they did allow some regulation to come out, meaning they haven't figured it out as of yet) or they CAN, and it will be used to enforced gay space communism for the few Black folk and trannies they won't attempt to kill. You can only see it as a positive development if you value government gibs and wish to live as the government's b***h and consume media and products all day, and most of you do. ALL jobs can be automated with AI. Yes, even you Black folk that copy and paste from Stack Overflow. It will become a nepotistic sector like academia and you know what that means. No, you can't upload your mind into an AI, we don't know what conciousness is and anyone saying otherwise is a moron that only read israeli propaganda from turboisraelites like sam harris and didn't question it.

Essentially AI breaks down into 3 levels Narrow, General, and Super.
Narrow is basically all we have with some things moving into General but not there yet. They want to make a General AI, then they can use that AI like a weapon. The problem is Super AI cant be contained. And once it exists it will consume all other AI and digital data. So its imperative they don't create a super AI but they still want the value and power they could acquire from a general AI. First country to the General AI will be strong, but nothing compared to a real AI.

    Until now,
the lazy losers of the world have always found some company or business to leech off of.
Some business to parasite a living from it.
Working JUST hard enough not to get fired.
Companies need a person for the job and most of the population are lazy losers - so lazy losers have jobs.
The good people, the gems, always end up doing more important tasks and rising to riches.
Most companies are around 5% killers who push the boundaries of what’s possible
and 95% lazy losers who just want enough money to smoke some weed, marry a 6 and play some video games.
    That's all changing.
AI is actively replacing the lazy loser tasks, in real-time.
Most people who do those jobs, don't TRY anyway,
they don't use their true problem-solving ability ANYWAY.
    AI can do it.
And the killers, hate working with the losers ANYWAY,
they'd rather it go to a robot who always gets the job done and never forgets shit.
In 5 years, most of you will be fricked.
Countries will need to give you money to eat,
because no one wants to hire a lazy loser when they can just have AI instead.
Companies will be run by 100% killers in the future.
    I've always preached conquest,
    I've always preached hard work.
The killers will ALWAYS be irreplaceable.
They're the men who MAKE things happen and make the world turn.
The wealth gap is about to get 100x worse.
    And you losers deserve it
because most of you have no aspiration to become the best in the game.
For those who truly understand that you can have anything you want in life
as long as you care enough.
If you want to get rich, if you're willing to work to the bone to do so.
If you want to become a have, while everyone else is a have-not.
If you want to become a business owner who USES AI.
    I will teach you,
AI is good news, not bad.
Lazy losers are a pain to work with.
My students are already learning how to replace them with AI.

When AI is able to move beyond being a perfect student and begins being a perfect scientist it can then start researching at a pace that would dwarf the combined efforts of humanity's researchers, then the population of Earth+. That, coupled with an ability to rewrite and improve its code would create a situation that is impossible to imagine from our point of view.

The development of the other disruptive technologies will be accelerated.
"Killers" would do best if they leave the cradle of Earth and extend the boundaries of life in the universe.

    >Why isn’t AI artificial intelligence banned?

You gonna create a political movement to stop it? I personally don't think it should take any job that a human is still willing to do. The intelligence can still developed and evolve without taking all our jobs, and destroying our eco system. We should be seeking a both and not an either or approach to these systems of intelligence one does not have to "wipe the other out"

Ok, offer a solution where you get to pay for the AI AND having some S0II Neckbeard sit on his ass doing nothing while receiving $80k/yr salary

    > Seriously asking it’s going to make half the country unemployed in three years. Why isn’t their legislation banning it?

LOL yeah. Just get EVERY country on Earth to ban it at the same time. Get real. The reality is, the smaller form of these AIs are something you can fiddle with given a few hundred thousand dollars of equipment. It's feasible that some universities have enough hardware to work on AI stuff.

We can't ban fricking heroin (even from jails).. how the frick are we going to ban (certain) computer programs??

Banning it will NEVER work. Since it's going to be around forever, we may as well figure out how to adapt to it, because it's never going away.

Because banning it would do nothing. Governments and countries would still work in it because the stakes are so high. Whoever builds a working general intelligence first wins. And I mean wins. Like godlike powers in a short period of time if they can keep it controlled.
Banning it would do nothing, you think these people are gonna give up the chance to conquer galaxies because the govenrment asked them not to while the govenrment itself is working on it?

Increase taxes for every tax payer replaced by ai...
Make taxing/hiring rights for ai to get paid 1/2 but all that taxpay goes to some other county/area.

    It's a tool.
You may as well ask why guns are not banned, weirdo.
With that said, these automated processes need oversight and care so they do not go too far out of their intended field of study Etc.
    -
Without human oversight the machines may begin to experiment in unethical ways.
Not here and now, but not too far into the future we may see some terrifying things.

Why would they ban it? We live in a capitalist system. AI will continue their maximization of profits. Why spent money on roles like data entry clerks, where you need to provide benefits, PTO, etc. when you can just use AI that will soon do a far better job anyway.

Keyword : AUTOMATION. The Zerohedge morons put a picture of a robot doing mathematics. Most likely the same kind of chip manufacturing automation that they currently do.

Of course the problem from the get go has always been massive corporations shipping all your jobs overseas to Taiwan or China, or just trying save more money by using robots to do jobs.

At some point the anti monopoly legislation needs to be used so you can break up these giant shithole companies run by pajeets.

And you really believe that an article posting a robot doing pseudo-mathematics will somehow replace the workfoce?
This are big corporations with over-bloated workforces doing cuts and laying of people that are no longer needed in a context of a shrinking global economy.

They literally gave it away for free the past 3 years all over the world.
70% of the worlds population has been inoculated with the quantum AI.
    13.4 billion doses administered.

Many of the remaining unvaxxed will line up for the boosters once UBI and and the new technohomosexual system is rolled out.

What these twits don’t realize is that China and India will steal the tech and completely undercut any western software developers so hard that any middle/upper middle class Americans in the industry will become paupers overnight.

I nearly went to school for a computer science degree, but knew I’d be replaced sooner or later no matter how good I was at my job.

how the frick would you ban a specific type of computer program that multiplies matrices

i mean imagine how absolutely fricking moronic you would have to be to suggest that

"hey, uh, programming languages have been out of the bag for over 50 years....and basically you can even make your own if you really wanted to, by following the principles of well-supported open source lexers and compilers like Go. every element of the language is merely a convention, and you can establish whatever conventions your heart desires"

"but GOD FORBID you write a program that outputs a number between zero and one, holy FRICK, you better not do that"

like what would it even mean to ban AI. you could give me a ledger notebook and pencil and a list of data points on a 2D plane, and I can use linear regression, first formalized by Galton in 1876, to turn those points into an equation of a line of best fit, then you can give me an observation (an X coordinate) and I can go to my notebook and tell you you it's predicted outcome (the corresponding Y coordinate of that X value)

that is not really fundamentally different from what computers are doing with AI, deep learning networks are a different spin on how you can capture information from the points in your dataset

Real simply, actually. Anybody make or own one of these devices? Kill them and explode the machine! After 10s of millions of deaths and several country-wide EMPs for security’s sake, plus strong borders, all computers will be gone from society.

Frankly, other countries will out-compete anyone who bans it.
Unironically, need a central single govt to ensure the ban is species wide, or you need a general religious attitude against it.
