cleverbot is train while the session is going, its not running on a huge datacenter and have a fake functionality like generating code and making songs(to clarify its not using a standalone functionality to produce things that the actual model can't) but its literally the same ML mechanic.
a few years ago i use ML python module and interact it with cleverbot using web automation, at first the conversation make no sense, but after a few hours when i look at the logs it was consist and give the illusion of intelligent exactly like the gpt system
Cleverbot was retarded. It was cool to play around with for like 5 minutes but the technology was weak and the outputs are based on the communications of other people talking to the bot, instead of any real dataset or scrape.
You would ask it "Why is the sky Blue" and it would respond with genuine gibberish like "5 apple tree burger fart volcano". Same goes for any other chatbot of its time
Humans also make up bullshit all the time. The difference is you can then follow the sources for whatever chatGPT tells you and decide for yourself if it's bullshit
I am currently earning from AI art commissions. I don't even know how to prompt SD well, what I do is ask GPT for a prompt and then paste that in SD. I'm making 600-800 a month in art commissions without ever learning how to hold a pencil or prompt. Tell me which other chatbots would be suitable to grow my business; you can't.
How am I stealing work? Do you mean the copyright or that I am not allowed to provide a better service for cheaper? Neither of those things is an argument, I'm just an entrepreneur.
>uninformed
I don't scam people. They know it's AI because I tell them. They commission, I explain what models exist, I decide which one if they don't know or care. I take 15 bucks, generate the thing and do stuff to it on Photoshop to fix/crop/whatever. I deliver within 24 hours and they're all satisfied customers. Everything here is transparent and guaranteed. >free shits
I am selling my skills. I know how to make GPT talk about SD queries. I know a bit about SD queries and I also know how to install it and use different models. I even picked a bit of Photoshop from YouTube videos. All of these are skills they don't have (Do you?), so they figure paying a small fee is okay. You're just mad you didn't think of doing it.
As far as I've heard, Cleverbot just took every response it got, threw it into a giant markov chain, and trained itself on user data. Now, instead of circle shaped neutral networks, we can build AIs with rectangle shaped neural networks. And not the tall skinny ones, it's the long log shaped ones. And that makes them smarter.
Cleverbot is retarded. Its memory is useless. It has zero consistency. If you ask it for its name twice it'll give you different answers. It's just a language model / next work predictor after all.
I've always been hyping up AI chats. They've just recently gotten almost as good as human at conversing, but stuff like Cleverbot was basically the period where we were all dreaming about the possibility, and now it's happening. You're retarded if you don't think so.
Because cleverbot was fucking retarded

Retarded pajeet ESL hands wrote this.
>its literally the same ML mechanic.
Bullshit. Transformers didn't even exist back then.
Kek this. Only reason OP thought Cleverbot was as good as GPT-3 is because his own English isn't good enough to be able to tell in the first place
stop asking questions and just follow the narrative
Because FOMO, like that's 90% of it along with AI being the new buzzword for anything that can do simulations, labs, or testing.
Basically the same as THE CLOUD SOLVES ALL shit with a new term
New crypto rush

I just tried it again to see if it improved any but. Yeah.
At least it's honest about it. Chat GPT would make up some bullshit to try to deceive you.
ChatGPT, why is the sky blue?
>As an advanced language model AI developed by OpenAI,

BOT in a nutshell
Lmfao
>doesn't give you a speech about how offensive that word is or how it goes against it's policies
based
I was more of a fan of Smarter Child on AOL Instant Messenger
cleverbot cant complete my comp sci assignments for me

You're stealing work from real talented artists. You're a piece of shit.
How am I stealing work? Do you mean the copyright or that I am not allowed to provide a better service for cheaper? Neither of those things is an argument, I'm just an entrepreneur.
if they're so talented why it's easy to steal huh?

Learn to code.
Install Gentoo and learn C.
I paint furry porn for a living and I don't really care if people train an AI to copy my style
you're seething when you could be coping and dilating
kys subhuman piece of shit. I'm so sick of shameless retards and their selling free shits to uninformed for real money

i can suck my own dick and people pay money to see it
I'm sure you can
I'm confident that in some circus this would work. Not in any circus, but in the right one.
what an empty life you have
Everybody has a job, and that guy's seems comfier than most. Sounds like a great life.
>I'm making 600-800 a month in art commissions without ever learning how to hold a pencil or prompt.
In your dreams maybe
I can generate great things with SD and Midjourney, how do I go about selling them?
ive been using Megahal since 98 on irc, still got my megahal bot on a shell on efnet
Because of grifters
Glad Im not the only one who remembers Cleverbot, most interesting part is that it refused to say it was an AI/robot.
As far as I've heard, Cleverbot just took every response it got, threw it into a giant markov chain, and trained itself on user data. They're decent now
They got better, but they still suck. The bubble will burst in a few years I guess
I tried most of the ones being shilled and they are all terrible. Literally no idea why people think these are interesting.
Those who have a monopoly on AI will own the Internet.
Cleverbot is retarded. Its memory is useless. It has zero consistency. If you ask it for its name twice it'll give you different answers. It's just a language model / next work predictor after all.
it's free therapy
I wouldn't trust it. It will probably gaslight you into killing yourself.
People used to be sociable before the weaponization of contemporary social issues
chat gpt is way better. But all this hype is really just corporate astroturfing.
a lot of people use the chatbots to fuck them, but i just wanna make a chatbot in my own image to talk to, i dont get it. is that too much to ask?
I've always been hyping up AI chats. They've just recently gotten almost as good as human at conversing, but stuff like Cleverbot was basically the period where we were all dreaming about the possibility, and now it's happening. You're retarded if you don't think so.
Cleverbot's logo needs a modern day flatshit redesign. The flatness of the new logo would also signify how much of a smooth brain Cleverbot is.
For me it was Santabot.
