>some innocent little prompter creates an AI retouched version of someone's original artwork
>they show it to the author in hopes they'll like it
>the author isn't happy about it and reposts the interaction on Twitter
>interaction goes viral and the little ai prompter gets bombared with death threats and deletes their account as a result
They clearly had good intentions and just wanted to show how much they liked his art but it unfortunately backfired. That being said, what's the point of creating AI art if all you're gonna receive is hate outside of places like /sdg/? Why not create your own art?
I don't prompt for others - I prompt for myself. Same with art. I don't see the use in picking up a hobby that causes my fulfilment to be dependent on others' attention.
If you created art yourself you could show it to others and you would probably have an interesting personality but doing prompts isn't very interesting
You have no idea how utterly tedious it is having someone "show you their art"
Even if it's bad at least they're doing something with their lives by being creative unlike you
Uh huh, probably gonna end up in a landfill after they die. Real creative
I like you
shut the fuck up chud
I show my prompting adventures to others and I have thousands of followers. Some coomers are even selling their AI art already not to mention real business people using it as a fast photoshop for gimmicks like avatars.
shut up inkcel
I generate images with AI and I draw myself.
I share both, my AI images get about 10 times more views and 50 times more likes.
Dunno what you guys are talking about. People like my AI works more. I still don't care, I never did any of these things for attention.
I draw for myself because I like it and I will continue to do so, no matter what others think. How much of a loser do you have to be do decide on your hobbies based on how others will perceive you.
show us some fo your drawings then
As you can see they are not very good. It's literally my first two ever attempts to draw something for real, not a shitpost in ms paint.
Working on a third one rn.
More like I want to give back for all the nice arts I got from the internet, if that makes sense. Maybe my own drawings are not there yet, but I think I at least managed to generate some stuff that people did genuinely enjoyed.
I won't deny that getting attention is nice, but my point is that:
>it's not true that people always prefer human work,
>AI work can get you very positive reception
>if you do it primary for yourself(aka it's actual hobby) none of these things should matter to you
>they are not very good
Hey at least the hands have five fingers and the eyes haven't been damaged by some chemical substance.
Just add "five fingers" into the prompt, it's not that hard.
Yeah. Out of ~200 images I generated I struggle to find ones that contain whole hand and it has no issues. Although I never had any problems with eyes, so dunno what you are referring to.
But the style is something I can only dream of until I spend hundreds of hours drawing I guess.
It's Moravec's paradox all over again.
Here. You can just reverse search to find my pixiv and see all of that, you know?
When fingers are clutched or covered somehow it can look ok.
But once you try hand holding, oh no
You gotta know your limitations and use proper tool for given task.
Skill issue
Teach me your secrets of generating anatomically-correct AI hands.
https://huggingface.co/datasets/Nerfgun3/bad_prompt
Thanks.
I usually just use novelai since I have subscription for textgen, but I have local set up too and will look into this embedding.
>Although I never had any problems with eyes
Look at this image:
The left eye looks dead. The eyes are almost always off on generated images and are often a better indicator of it than fucked up hands.
I started noticing it with waifu2x and current techniques haven't improved a single bit.
Sometimes the eyes are just a jumbled mess altogether
but that can happen to any part of the image. It doesn't just apply to anime bug eyes, more western styles have fucked eyes too
Dunno anon, I don't really see it. But I wish I could draw eyes like that.
>I don't really see it
Actually blind. The second Mercy clone looks like she typed IDDQD.
I was talking about anime examples. I don't care about western art.
>biggest flaw is something that can be corrected in any paint program in about 5 minutes
ai chuds it's heckin over for you!!
>Implying
post your generated art now
Well, you're already posting your stuff online. You must want someone to look at it.
I get more interaction on my AI art too among nftbros
>doesn't care about attention
>starts by sharing their attention based understanding of merit
>starts by sharing their attention based understanding of merit
Do you realize that this is not something I came up with but the actual topic of this thread? I was referencing attention based understanding of merit from the posts I quoted, not my own. My response is that hobby activities should be primarily something you enjoy doing on your own, and not what other like.
I also didn't stay I don't care about attention, just that it's not the reason I do stuff.
No you weren't. You were talking about your own posts.
So your social pattern now fits either a liar or a bot.
I was talking about my own posts to show my other points, which is that AI is not that disliked nor always less welcome than human made art.
I have no idea what point are you trying to make at this point.
But you still chose an attention based system of merit to do so. Not only that, a system from a confirmedly corrupt platform that now has an available history of the interference in what it presents as data.
But my point is, that you chose this as support for your point, then said you do not care. And now instead of acknowledging where your mind truly is, you employ subterfuge.
So liar it is, even to yourself.
>But you still chose an attention based system of merit to do so.
OP said:
>what's the point of creating AI art if all you're gonna receive is hate
The second post I quoted said:
>If you created art yourself you could show it to others
It wasn't my choice, I just replied to them.
Like I've said it twice I am talking against this sort of view. I think people should get into hobbies primarily because they like doing that thing, not what others think of it.
>confirmedly corrupt platform that now has an available history of the interference in what it presents as data.
I didn't knew about any controversies with pixiv and I don't know how does a that relate to what I said.
>that you chose this as support for your point, then said you do not care.
You are mixing two of my points.
Point 1) People do not always hate AI art and always prefer human
Proof: my AI work is more popular than digital art and gets very positive reception
Point 2) I draw for myself primarily
Proof: despite my AI works being way more successful I still draw and don't feel any discouraged from it
>So liar it is, even to yourself.
Ok?
Newsflash
"Being an artist" isn't an interesting personality
I acknowledge that this is bait and I'm taking it anyway
You just stole artwork from a real artist and posted it here.
> you would probably have an interesting personality
Seeing the average artists behave online and the art community itself, I don't think I will. Go check /ic/ if you want to be put by massive demotivation effort.
normies are desperate for attention and clout, it's inevitable.
> normies are desperate for attention and clout,
yes
AI art is an adult coloring hobby
thats all its gonna be.
doctors are not objects like what an art is.
Hospitals are commodities not a privilege art ownership.
When will programmer stop insulting themselves by just coding programs, pretending to create "art".
they should be moving on to practicality like
health services, mental health, legal advice, teaching jobs, food production, urban planning and investigations.
You say words but they carry no meaning.
>a privilege art ownership
lol, lmao even
>Programmers should also recognize the value of collaboration
Oh, the irony.
I don't know if you are trolling or just dumb af.
Anyway, I don't give a fuck what you think.
My GPU is WAY more creative than you ever be. And there is NOTHING you can do about it. Seethe and cry.
yeah, they have to replace everyone except you. cope, you are just a testing ground for better automation
>what's the point of creating AI art if all you're gonna receive is hate outside of places like /sdg/?
Because you enjoy it, making art for anyone other than yourself is the most retarded thing you can do.
>implying hate comes from outside g only
>g
fucking windows users
>little ai prompter gets bombared with death threats and deletes their account as a result
do americans really do this?
why would someone care if they get a mean message online, i'd just block them or insult them back
this I would simply call them mindbroken and then keep posting
yes,did you already forget how much of a sissy fit they threw just because their govt made it illegal to whore around without consequences ?
So you want irresponsible people to raise more irresponsible people?
If you gays give me an archive of this artpoor's shit, I'll try training a hypernetwork on it tomorrow. Only requirement is one of you have to spam her twatter with the AI generations since I don't consoom social media slop
HAHA you're a loser
the artpoor is scared
nakadashi mesugaki
> gachashit image
You still up for it? I'll zip it up if you want
DO ET
Here's the archive https://litter.catbox.moe/yf1ebe.zip
Everything he posted in that artstyle minus the patreon stuff. Godspeed anon.
hell yeah, i love dolphin porn! thanks!
>Seething artgay
>newgay
No anon, ironic oldgay jokes don't make you an oldgay
>an avatargay
>implying
>Not an avatar
Plz be cringe elsewhere
you're learning! that's a good boy.
Filthy gaijin !
Making japanese cry, you should be shame !
This guy's art is so generic that it already looks like cherry-picked AI output.
Maybe weebs should learn to draw something that isn't anime girls.
>Maybe weebs should learn to draw something that isn't anime girls
but my entire personality is built on anime and vintage japanese cars
Why is Satan always right?
check em
That's the point. Anime/manga style was invented so nips could be trained to draw and reproduce other nips' drawings if/when the first artist died of exhaustion.
>AI trained on anime pics generates anime looking pics
Shocking outcome.
LOL at getting bullied on Twitter. Hags, gays, and nags are toothless dogs.
It doesn't help that the PROOOMPTers are obnoxious little shits, and they need to get the fuck off my blue board and post their pornography somewhere else.
>death threats
WTF
With a little OPSEC and a new burner account, it should be impossible, right?
Tempted to one-up what he did and post it here
good morning sirs
What a sad moron
Strange how people didn't leave twitter a decade ago.
Let them send the death threats. Twitter's mod team is different these days. My managed to get one of the people he sent me one a retro ban, got ignored in the old days and this time they fucking got the guy
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisstokelwalker/tech-worker-ai-childrens-book-angers-illustrators

Nobody bought the book
AI will always create better art than you, paintmoron

Programmers should also recognize the value of collaboration, and take a more holistic approach to developing software that can be used to improve the lives of people around the world. They should strive to use technology to solve real-world problems, and be mindful of the ethical implications of their code. Additionally, they should recognize that their work is not art, but instead a tool that can be used to create art, and should always strive to create solutions that are accessible and equitable.
We need to train an AI to replicate the style of John William Godward
Everybody bought several copies of the book
yet artmorons harrarsed him. just to see we need to replace those psychos ASAP
he didnt cost him anything kek
Time isn't a zero-cost resource.
Yet you waste it shitposting.
Heh
Okay, but the ad hominen didn't change the fact, Mr. funny guy on the internet.
Haha shit I went to university with this guy.
i think this guy posted on /sdg/
i remember someone talking about making a children's book
Artcels are scum
I don't even consider it a hobby. It's a toy to be played with. Passing this off as hand-drawn art is a dick move though; artgays make sense there.
this tbh. It's impossible to get the picture you want using words, and it will always pick up things from other images and ruin what it did draw. Even for concept art, I can't find a use for it, because my imagination and a quick sketch is just so much more effective than gambling with seeds or how well trained my hypernetwork is.
>They clearly had good intentions
>American
Yeah, nah, the Ameritard had it coming.
>American
source?
>please don't steal my generic, traced, anime trash that is impossible to tell apart from every other anime art
AI art is the same airbrushed mass produced trash that nobody likes
seethe artcel
>guy draws generic anime girl
>worthless trash
>bot shits out exactly the same anime girl after being trained on a billion images of generic anime girls
>now THIS is art!
You kind of just admitted that it was so trash that even AI can emulate it flawlessly
>Why create AI art if you can't share it anywhere?
PERSONAL PLEASURE
A true artists creates for himself.
Artists that create for clout or money are not real artists!
This right here, regardless of whether you support AI art or not, if you don't do it out of passion but rather just as a way to earn a quick buck or a following you're not a true artist.
Lel you mean share with artists
Those seem to be much more triggered by AI art than normal people.
I have plenty of uses for prompted art. I will not be paying some retard to draw for me anymore.
But they are totally different
OP is clearly baiting, but is that AI prompter chink fucking retarded or autistic / severely lacking in self awareness and social clues or all of the above or what
what did he think would happen?
Its very pathetic the way they are acting. I'm making a coom game, which I released for free, and I used ai art because obviously I'm not going to spend money on a artist for something that I'm doing for free and I simply don't have the time to draw all the characters. The amount of hate that's been directed toward me is honestly hilarious. I made it clear the reasons I chose to use ai, because that way I would not have to conform to the whims of a payment processor. But I'm honest being to think that I should delete all the current art, open a patreon so I can use the money to hire an artist, and keep using ai art anyway.
Its really pathetic. They act like children. As if I've personally gone out of my way and harmed them by using a tool.
Why would you tell them that you're using AI art anyway? Make it good enough that they can't tell and never answer any questions that ask you who made it + make it so you have plausible deniability that you're not avoiding this question in particular
I regret saying anything. I was just being upfront about it and the people I talked to at the time didn't have any issues. Up until a few weeks ago it was barely even talked about. Some of the art got criticized but that was it. Now its almost all I hear about.
>As if I've personally gone out of my way and harmed them by using a tool.
You have and that's the funny thing, if you look big name artist are not crying it's shitty mid tier artist who do not want to put time and effort in crying.
HE DOES IT FOR FREE?!
What's the name of the game anon I'd love to try it if I knew the creator was being this based
Name the game. I'm gonna buy it on steam. Put a price for it.
what game, i want to try it out
Tell them "my game is free and I have no budget, unless you are prepared to make good art for my game for free, be silent."
>kid prints out artwork and traces over and it colours it different colours
>this is okay
>someone makes changes with AI
>OMG KILL HIM!
The quicker art die as a "career" the better, let AI handle paid projects and when it returns to being a hobby artists can fucking relax and not take it so seriously.
>That being said, what's the point of creating AI art if all you're gonna receive is hate outside of places like /sdg/?
Because doing a little trolling is funny as fuck and drawgays are the biggest lolcows these days.
i have yet to receive any hate on pixiv
get porn to your liking
get shit luke backgrounds or bases for your actual art
get textures for models
get images for websites
use them for literally anything that isn't considered artistic expression
But how will we train new models to get better results if they succeed in their crackdown?
There's plenty enough artists who don't give a shit, no one cares if you use corporate properties or frames from video
there's also always photography and art with expired copyright
imagine the AI revenge for this behavior
these gangstalking trannies will be turned into cybord midwives
That’s hot
luddites lose every single time. people on twitter can complain all they want but the amount of people use AI will outnumber them like 1,000 to one
yep
don't go on twitter they're crazy
idk why do you wake up in the morning if we're all going to die some day.
>I fixed your art for you
Regardless of the proompters vs inkcels war, what the fuck did this retard expect?
whats special about it tho
>heres an easy to use tool, heres what you can do with it etc.
The author isn't in a special position, just that they had a fan
There are lots of people who like ai art on art sites and i never had any negative comments..
AI can't draw hands because majority of artists can't.
Good human art will always have accurate hands, the same cannot be said for good AI art.
The fuck do you mean, if hands are not accurate, then it's not a good AI art practically by definition.
>take code
>remove license
>merge 2 line change
>hey I made this, I deserve the credit now
>add new license, claiming you made it
This is the same shit, but you all treat it like ai art is somehow different. Imagine if a corporation took gpt code and then sold it as a service without adhering to the license..
I really can't believe that a board like g is behind training ai on individual people's work.
But I guess this just shows most people here don't actually make anything, they just want to be able to create coomer images without putting in any work.
>>hey I made this, I deserve the credit now
Said on one ever.
>>add new license, claiming you made it
Did no one ever.
>some innocent little prompter
goes viral and the little ai prompter gets bombared with death threats and deletes their account as a result
pwn3d
>Drawgay eventually feels bad deletes his tweets like a total KEK
AI GODS won this one
Most sane artist.
>second tweet has significantly less views than the first one
What happened
Doesn't that mean that people just clicked on the first post and read replies from it instead of clicking every post in the chain?
the way twitter is designed means this will happen
Share it on BOT, we are all pro-AI art here.
is it feasible for an artist to use ai art as a tool? like to help visualize poses or color? i sincerely don't understand, if artists are fine with digital art, stabilizers, brushes, 3d models ect then what makes it so different to use ai? and ontop of that, shouldn't artists enjoy drawing for the process? it shouldn't really matter if an ai can do it better. whatever happened to do things because you liked to do them?
He thinks we would cry like morones because of online "hate". How pathetic
>innocent little prompter
What is this wording, lmao.
I've been doing tons of dreambooth model training and image generation for people on my facebook for free.
Been generating them great looking paintings for them to print out for cheap and hang. Also for free.
They love it.
And when artists go screech at them that it's theft, they will ask if they could do something for free.
The artist will screech once more.
And I shall prompt.
Don't put other people's work in your slop generators without their permission
You don't own a series of numbers, which is all your "art" is. Red, green, blue. Red, green, blue. Maybe red, green, blue, alpha if your image has transparency.
I own your mom's pussy tho, nerd
Said the poor seething gay.
Hope you know how to flip burgers.
I know how to bond burger your mom if you know what I mean
Wow, so funny and clever!
You must be at least 18 yo to post here.
Why are the most retarded congregating under AI?
I have my suspicions but I would rather hear some other answers.
>The most retarded congragating under AI
If that was the case you'd be the head priest
Typical.
>here's your work but re-imagined by a computer. isn't it better?
>what do you mean you don't appreciate it???
don't worry, though, anon. i get it. i have autism, too. probably not as badly as you, but still.
That doesn't sound bad though. I would be fascinated
i don't find it offensive. i would be fascinated, too. but we're all autists here. intuitively i think anyone who isn't autistic would find it a bit insulting.
No it's not an autistic thing. Normies would find it fascinating too and thats why they all flocked to that chink anime face app a little while ago. The seething is coming from "artists" afraid of their commission money going away
Only an insecure autist would fit it offensive, so, yeah, you are definitely one.
Artists, especially copycats, are commonly insecure.
The prompter probably knew this too.
>share it anywhere
No one is gonna care if you enjoy it as a novelty and want to show your friends
Trying to make money off it is kind of iffy
Huge pro-AI redpill thread
