Whatever the point of this comic is, it's a poor one. Because Netflix is garbage too. It killed torrenting.

Streaming services are garbage zoomer. They restrict your freedom.

For example, you can't find the unedited, original Star Wars trilogy anymore. (The one where Han shot first).
Disney only sells the remastered edition on DVD, BlueRay or streaming platforms.
Only way to find the real OT is on torrent.

Same with other movies. They are editing old movies and censoring them for PC reasons. You can't see Daryl Hannah's ass on Splash anymore. God knows why. Real version is only on torrent.

Back in my high school days, even the most moronic highschool cheerleader bimbo was torrenting shit. Her entire music collection was pirated. Corporations were afraid of Napster, eMule and Kazaa, they were powerless to stop it, all they could do was air those impotent "you wouldn't steal a car" ads, that everyone laughed at. But then something changed: DRM and Streaming.

Now most zoomies are tech-illiterate morons that don't know how to torrent. Because you can "just pay for Netflix and you can watch anything by clicking one button bro". So the future is grim.

Copyright trolls and DMCA killed torrenting, not streaming services. Now you need a VPN if you don't live in the 6 countries that don't care about copyright to avoid getting sued or having your ISP terminate your service.

Idk OP, I was trying to reason with someone on /adv/ that AI can help them with his art (wants to learn but doesn't want to actually draw anything) and he insisted that "all AI art is bad" without even trying it, even after I told him I was drawing long before I got into prompting

I think a lot of it is also pride. People genuinely think they can outdo a computer at anything. Like a mathematician who refuses to use a calculator or something...

Certain humans can, certain humans (probably like you can't) it takes skill and raw talent to be able to absorb images and incorporate them into one's style. The way people compare brains to computers in that sense is inherently a false comparison and should be thrown out completely.

It's like when people compare humans to say birds or other animals... Like bro, we're not birds, we don't have feathers, we can think abstractly, just because a bird operates in a sense doesn't mean shit because we're humans, not birds.

I really despise when people compare brains to CPUs. The CPU can calculate trillions of computations a second, the human brain operates in a vastly different mode

The most valuable genai training dataset isn't Disney's library, it's the wealth of freely available content on the internet. Big corps would love it if you just rolled over and let them use it without any moral judgement or threat of lawsuits, and they can use it much better than you can, because genai scales with model size, which scales with the amount of money you can throw at compute. The world where genai wins is the world where you lose.

    Consider.
Normies would have expected AI to take over trades, which is basically the job no one wants to do, instead of arts, which is basically the job everyone wants to have, as long as you actually get paid for it.
Also. Imagine spending years and years learning to draw shit and suddenly this pc gimmick comes and draws an entire comic page in 10 mins
    ofc you'd be assmad
    > inb4 muh hands
Hands are notoriously difficult to draw even for humans.
That being said, your image sucks. Corpos benefit from the existence of AI more than anyone, mostly because they benefit from anything.
I'm not against AI. I want people to understand that their jobs will always be on the line and that the system considers them slaves.
AI snaps some of the people who thought they were safe back to reality.
