ChatGPT is an public AI chat made by OpenAI. It got famous recently for being able to spew up working, good code upon simple Google-like search question prompt. Now every codemonkey got scared shittless that AI will replace them without understanding shit at all, like the mere fact that you need a programmer still to tell if the code is any good anyway.
At worst it's the same shit as Excel. Everyone thought it would make accountants obsolete, but they became only even more needed as every business was running on it.
