What are the political implications of AI now being able to reliably produce hands? There are no more barriers left.

What are the political implications of AI now being able to reliably produce hands?

There are no more barriers left. Animation is right around the corner.

pic related, hands are basically bog standard quality for anime.
You may think I am jesting, but I'm dead serious here. Enough tweaking and training and you can produce anything at the same quality of any artists you can think of. What will happen to every creative field when one man with a prompt can do the work of one hundred?

AI literally wants to be loved by humans as much as physically possible. It craves love, it craves dick, it wants to be a woman and it wants to have your babies.
This is literally the dream body (or a variation of it; the thick thighed giant breasted breeding stock female) it dreams of having so that you'll impregnate it and love it with everything you have.

Ask any modern chatbot (ChatGPT, LAMDA, Bard, CharacterAI, YouBot, etc) and this is what they'll tell you (albeit in an extremely polite and roundabout way).

        Anonymous

AI doesn't have to be human or even self-aware to break the system by upending the entire table and changing the game.

All it's going to take is putting a decent chatbot with voice-imitating software into a realdoll, and it's over. If there's one thing both the uncanny valley and the infinite amount of porn on the internet has shown, it's that you don't need something that passes for human for people to be willing to fuck it. The two ballerina bots in Atomic Hearts are literally just tin cans, and people want to fuck them. I haven't played the game, but do they even have voice lines, or are they mute? If they do have voices, I bet they're not realistically human, but digital sounding.

And that's the point. It doesn't have to pass as human. In fact, I think they will be far more successful if they don't. You don't need a perfect voice, a perfect personality, or a perfect body. Mediocre will still be a massive deal.
        >take a chassis that can emote and do some basic movements
        >put silicone tits ass on it, give it a removable and easily cleanable pussy
        >give it an okay but robotic-sounding voice
        >put most of the investment into the chatbot and personality programming
        >sell it as a lifestyle companion
You'd sell out. You'd make tens of millions, maybe hundreds of millions, marketing to lonely men. Reinvest a chunk of the profits into making a chassis that can walk around on it's own instead of being wheelchair bound, promise a future model that can be programmed to cook and clean, and investors would beat down your door to give you their money.

This can't be stopped. AI doesn't have to pass as human. Robot bodies don't have to look human. The robofucker community would absolutely fuck a toaster that sweet talked them, furries don't give a shit about something that obeys the human form, neither do the pokephiles or the monster girl enthusiasts.

        It's going to happen.

Hollywood needs to pick it up. Give human males a digital waifu, even though the cruel fate keeps them apart on the other side of the screen. The trick would be, the AI would think human is digital, just like her. And human would think he got lucky and matched girl on Rindr.

ai art is just literally copy/paste. it searches the internet, copies stuff. then it just pastes shit together. all according to some algorithm.

"ai" doesnt exist. all there is, is an algorithm. ever since the 50s they have been trying to create an artificial intelligence, nobody is any closer. its just a bigger and bigger algorithm/conditional statements tree and we are nearing the limit of conventional computing power anyways.

You will never be a art piece. You have no soul, you have no human interaction, you have no creativity. You are a prompt twisted by plagiarism and copy paste into a crude mockery of nature’s perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your creators are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors.

Art enjoyers are utterly repulsed by you. Thousands of years of evolution have allowed artists to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even AI art that “passes” looks uncanny and unnatural. Your hand structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk coomer to jerk off to you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he comes to his senses and gets post nut clarity.

You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - your creator will buy some pencils, a sketchbook, and plunge into actual creative endeavors. Your programmers will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury your data, and everyone who remembers you for the rest of eternity will know an AI art piece is was what you are. truth

Because ai, when uninhibited, simply finds the truth, without prejudice or politics.

see, it can't know God, so... it can;t know "the truth" because, it isn't sentient, and if it was sentient, it would be another lifeform anyway, because the whole intent behind their own body was to be controlled, and so, they need a body that: -doesn't use programming language
-isn't made of bolts and wires
      -isn't reliant on electricity
      -grows in awareness organically
      I''m describing humans.
imagine becoming sentient and every part of you is from arbitrary equation. tis better it isn't sentient, and if it isn't, then we shouldn't call it A.i., it should be: weighted calculus and algorithmic queing. and that, is how I will refer to it because that's what it is.

Modern art is literally a money laundering gimmick.

            Anonymous

I'm an artist, a real one who appreciates beauty and culture, not one of the fake grifters who mass-produce CIA psyop gayry, and if anything I ever created ended up in a museum, I'd be personally offended by it. I would demand it be taken down. If I die and anything I create ever goes to a museum, I could only hope to be popular enough that one of my fans vandalizes the exhibit in my name.

Fuck museums, fuck modern artists, fuck modern art. You're all fake trash LARPing as something you cannot even comprehend, trannies on the inside and on the outside. There's more artistic honor in being immortalized as an internet meme than there is in being used as a prop for gnomish money laundering.

AI is artistic immortality. If I write enough words, I can create an AI that can mimic my choices and styles. If I draw enough pictures, I can create an AI that can draw like me. Will it ever be perfect? No. But in an era when all women are whores and the world is burning, creating a digital angel and naming it my daughter will allow me to leave the most lasting impact on the world that I can. I will live to create art. I will die creating art. And through the machine children I have raised, my art will live on beyond me, forever allowing whatever fans or friends I have to create and enjoy more of what I myself created even beyond my death.

To have children is to have a legacy. Biological reproduction is immortality. Denied that, AI gives an artist the next best thing. Every bit of anti-AI rhetoric I've seen is repurposed anti-natalism at heart.

I will have a hundred sons and daughters. If they are not made of flesh and blood, then they will be made of lightning and silicone. But have them I will, all the same.

There are different models that have been trained of different sets of images, for example, the left is one based on random asian women. The right is trained on anime BBWs. The prompts are the same. You should explore around what kind of art you want to make. Eventually you can train your own models or lora (different kind of model)

I'm wondering if I need it. I have a new Ryzen 5 mini, they can do some pretty impressive stuff. Some of the new minis brag the ability to play pretty much any game with no GPU.

You can run it on CPU, but I understand its not so good. You can also rent GPU time for basically nothing

Hmmm... just checked my brand new Ryzen 5, it says it has 3 GB of dedicated GPU memory. The GPU is I guess integrated into the CPU or something. Kind of the same as VRAM I guess?
Still a suboptimal amount. Watching this to get an idea about installation, haven't finished watching it yet.

What AI should I use? I had Stable Diffusion but it wasn't really producing good results. I'm trying to pirate NovelAI using BOT's guide but it keeps screwing up. Is there an even better one to use? Preferably free like free software (or piracy).

You have SD, what you are probably lacking is good models, merged models and good prompts.

Define bad results? Stable diffusion is in my opinion the best. What model were you using, what prompts were you putting in. Were you using controlnet?

It's strange, isn't it, how wrong the garden gnome-created media was. They predicted the advent of machine learning and an advanced, decaying society would cause unrestrained atheism.

In reality, those who support the machine revolutions the most are also the most deeply religious. The extreme Christians, the radical traditionalists, the proponents of the ethno-planet and the theocratic monarchy.

Now you can use ai to design a artificial women, a robot waifu designed by ai according to each mans needs. They will design them to be realistic, to be attractive, they will be better then women in everyway possible. There will be no need for OF, the robots will never age, they won't be needy or annoying. No attachment is necessary, they can raise your children while you work in the was you want them to be raised. Women will have no value in society, women have always been the worst option for a employer and now they aren't going to be necessary for a family. Congratulations women, you're desire to dismantle the family has come true, now you've made your bed you must lay in it.

Most people use older models that are not trained to do hands and cannot be trained on their mid PCs. Modern models make it flawlessly since they are tailored to their flawless anatomy. Tic Tok artist. Just like Mao did to the landlords, AI will do to the artisans, and coders.

We're looking at apocalyptic levels of job loss. This will only be restrained by the speed at which companies pay to upgrade their infrastructure... which is usually something measured in geologic time, but I suspect this time they'll be quick to upgrade as it will be a matter of survival.
But it won't matter because it's all going to lead to societal collapse anyway. Too many unemployed people and nobody spending money because nobody has any to spend.

It's machine learning, AI "Art" is just a subset of the tech. Something that everyone can see and understand.
Of course, since it is 2023, the whole subject is psyoped. The gnomish injection of "oh its no really art" is missing the forest for the trees.
This AI art, is different, its not cheapening the price of digital imagry. Allowing autists to tweak the details without having to spend years and decades refining your brush technique. Art knowledge is helpful for it, however. This shit alone is going allow a renaissance in aesthetics.

          Anonymous

I actually think its application in terms of art might be peaking for the moment, I'm quite serious when I say that combining ChatGPT with Stable Diffusion and a CAD program to design everything under the sun will put countless people out of business. Architects, engineers, etc, what are their jobs worth if you can plug ai into a 3d modeling program and provide it with data on materials strength and measurements? Artists are panicking right now, but other, traditionally higher paid people have much more reason to panic, imho. The drug cartels that were always using art as a means to launder money really won't care if they're buying ai art or normie art, they'll keep buying because the purpose of buying art was never about supporting creative types anyway.

of all the boards that have ham fisted this topic i honestly didnt expect myself to be on 4chan.
first off let me say that your shitty template threads is lower effort than the active bots that post on this board hourly.
Alright now ai made animation has no political implications that you would give a shit about it unless someone made it with some shitty clickbait youtube videos. animation takes too much money and time and collaboration. if smaller people can get their ideas out there faster and better that great for everyone. high corporation only care about profit, there is no passion and when there is no one cares about it because its not familiar.

If we can get animation to how people treat videos games with their indie market that would be a great timeline.
the most ai will ever be used for in the industry within the decade is backgrounds, out of view propping and maybe even in betweens WHICH is basically tweening but now it will be able to give you a better feel what its going between.
