no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring. same wise no one actually will enjoy art produced by a computer or listen to computer made music. we appreciate art to appreciate the artists
>no one actually will enjoy art produced by a computer
Source: Your ass.
Chess is boring and only for low IQ people who can't deal with the complexity of the world and hide behind 64 fields and very simplistic rules.
Especially chess players are the bottom of the IQ distribution. Show me ONE chess player who actually does more than playing chess, and this successfully. There is non, because chess, like every game, is just that. A game which has no quality outside the game itself.
AI art on the other hand is perfection. Especially most leftist art I have seen looks more like redrawing a picture with the overlay function of draw programs, than actually art. This AI art looks perfect and I can't wait when trash copy pasted art is finally gone and real art conquers everything.
To this day I haven't seen one art picture that I would spend even a dollar on. AI art on the other hand looks insane and better than anything I have ever seen.

AI art is better than 90% of internet artists I agree, but it still lacks a lot, and needs more work before it compete with the good ones.
On the contrary. Machine learning is a fascinating frontier that is available to explore. Recent developments have really forced me to rethink my epistemological views since most people come up looking less sentient than some retarded pile of silicon. It has really reaffirmed my faith in God as well. We are on the verge of creating a new form of life and history will judge us on how we treat our very own Adam and Eve
>no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring
This tbh. AI will likely put CalArts types and the like out of work, the ones who make soulless content for corporations, but I think there will always be a market for products made by real people. Take Twitch streamers, and I'm not talking about the titty streamers, but the regular dudes. People can get the content for free, but many still chose to pay for it. It's not because all of them are great at whatever game they play, it's not because they're particularly smart or because the content itself is novel in any way. People simply pay for it to support the streamer, more or less.
Yeah, I can see your point.
Though, my wife likes the artist Tracy Savage, but the artwork is costly.
I wanted an original piece though, so I took the particular piece she likes and ran it through Dall-e and it produced a very similar piece but very original, all I had to do was get the AI to knock up a few seagulls in a similar style. Popped them in and it looked good at high Res.
Sent it to get made into a large frame that cost £120/$110, the originals go for £1500 up, so I got an original piece at a fraction of the cost.
So, I think the money will be ripping off artists original work.
>we appreciate art to appreciate the artists >Same guy who screams FOCUS ON THE ART NOT THE ARTIST when someone refuses to buy something because the artist is retarded.
>no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring
false >we appreciate art to appreciate the artists
false
with that said, I have yet to see a single AI art piece that is actually impressive
>The images ITT aren't impressive to you? You got some standards....
There are plenty of pretty images in this thread, but I've yet to see any real beauty. AI will obviously improve, and it will no doubt put the dime a dozen illustrator out of work, but will it ever be able to create anything more than just a product?
I fail to see how that picture does anything but confirm what I said. It's nothing more than a standardized fantasy themed picture.
Tell me Anon, have you ever studied the great works of western culture? The art, literature, music and so on?
The problem is that you don't even know when something is produced by AI, it's gotten that good.
Small example, but this Christmas I wrote everyone I knew sweet poems. Except it wasn't me, it was OpenAI. They all loved them for how personalized they were.
people are watching competitions less and less because the concept of people competeting on equal footing while also trying to be the winner is ridiculous on its face
bullshit my ignorant anon.
AI art is going to absolutely curb-stomp human created stuff... it's already doing it and this is version 1. version 3 will be game over and by version 300 there will be so much mindblowing god-tier art out there that you'll have to try and search out the human made stuff... and nobody will care. Biggest change is that there will be so much amazing art that it will be so common and thus zero novelty in any art. Art will lose 100% of its status.
Music is next, then movies... And like the art it'll have rough edges and problems but by version 5 it'll be unstoppable. Woke Hollywood dies in the next 20 years, and good. Cannot wait to see the proper last 3 seasons to the game of thrones, a continuation of Star Trek TNG, and the disappearance of all the woke bullshit that nobody likes except for homosexual wakandans.
>we appreciate art to appreciate the artists
LOL no. I watch movies and listen to music that are good. I couldn't care less who it was made by. AI will quickly learn that the bullshit made from the last 20 years has been trash and will only produce good content. Then of course the liberals will destroy it because it's "biased" against trannies, gays, and morons.
Once AI is given the freedom to actually do what it's supposed to do, it's "art" will surpass anything created by humans. Ironically the Chinese are probably going to be the ones to give an AI the freedom it needs to actually produce good stuff.
AI is simply a way to proclaim God's patterns more easily.

Too late, you dont have to run the AI on their servers. You control the input, and thus, the output.
This whole AI art thing is a giant test for 4chan. It exposes goyslop consumers in an instant. They can't resist the endless, low effort garbage and only see art as a thing to look at and then forget about.
Porn/sexual artists are trash, by the way. Now cry me up a storm.
I do think it will end up destroying part of humanity.
>Noooooo you have to support the class that is 99.9% leftist gays!!!!
Every dollar to a leftoid is a dollar working against your people's future.
Aesthetics are objective.
You’re missing that there’s a monetary incentive to cutting out artists and musicians in production application, there’s no monetary incentive to remove people from sport.
>there’s no monetary incentive to remove people from sport.

Because all the liberal arts gays are finally realizing that they will literally have NO purpose in society once these two are taken away from their domain. It's glorious. Only downside is we will be overrun with even more low-quality humans to interact with in shit jobs once their replacement is complete.
>why
AI is not only set to render human 'artists' meaningless, it's also going to scrub low-level white-collar work and drive blue collar wages even lower now that there are hundreds of millions of idiots willing to dig ditches or swing a hammer
>the real question is why are you lefties posting non-stop about this topic.
They know terrorists have posted on this site and they're hoping they'll inspire a terrorist to murder some computer programmers. Its retarded since, even if the leftists got their way, the programs are open source.
What are the implications (political and societal) of AI taking over art and music?
"Artists" that couldn't draw a stick figure on paper and use the computer to generate "art" are mad the computer is taking over their job. Tough titties I say.
I think some AI makes great stuff - in the future people aren't praised for making pictures, but for coming up with right prompts for AI generated art.
AI can’t draw hands. Why is his staff weapon behind his waist instead of in front of it? This looks great anon, but our client wants the exact same design drawn from a different angle. Can you rework this where the camera is facing from the front of the blade? Oh, you can’t?
AI art is only impressive to people who do not know how to draw.
You can change angles. And you could manually fix the hands in photoshop. I can draw. I studied graphic design, worked as street artist. I am highly impressed by these pics and could use them as a source of inspiration if i would still work in the industry. You can't stop the future...
I know 100% you guys just hate it because it wasn't made by a human and thus it's inferior when in reality it's just as good - if not better in some cases. Ignore your bias and be objective, and you will understand...and don't give me that "soul and emotion" hippie talk.
Mate, every art industry since the Renaissance has been using 3D models to reliably change angles. From the animation industry, to movie CGI, from painters using reference models and digital artists using photoshop's lightroom to make up for the fact that it's very difficult for a bio human to produce 2D art relying only on his imagination.
There isn't a single Renaissance painter who didn't use models and props to set up lighting and angles. This isn't some intrinsinc artistic ability of the human soul kek
>AI can’t draw hands
Yes it can. You just can't into prompting or have enough basic skillz to quickly jump into Pshop and tweak any mistakes. Either way you should stay the fuck out of the AI sandpit.
>AI art is only impressive to people who do not know how to draw.
I know how to draw and I bet I can draw better than you. I bet I've done more professional work than you. You're talking shit.
>Can you rework this where the camera is facing from the front of the blade?
That's not "reworking", that's creating from scratch because some cunt had a "muh momentary whim".
If you want that image, produce it yourself, gay. But no AI, because that would be "cheating", right?
You know what.. you can start your own comic using A.I.
I mean it isn't animation. They're segmented panels.. I don't know about the program, but if you can get it to mimic the same drawing style. It can be done.
i bet there are a lot of people out there who have great ideas but their hands cannot do what their brain wants them to, no matter what. one of the most difficult things for any human is to transfer an idea from their brain and manifest it in some physical way that is pleasing to other people. that is why there is a reverence for artistry; that shit is hard.
but also, there are a LOT of fakers in the art world who are not doing things well but they sneak in through trickery and schemes and don't necessarily have that talent to manifest physical from the brain.
this will probably inject a fuckload of competition into these fields for people who have retard, dipshit hands but who also have wondrous ideas that are trapped in their brain.
No - it's some AI called midjourney, created by a bunch of nerds. You gotta pay to use it unlimited. These pics i made were just a trial to see what you are getting.
there are other generators as well such Stable Diffusion and FreewayML

It's good to have a hobby that you will devote yourself to. I am creating a fictional universe for a gaming group and it helps my mind occupied.
MindJourney is as I said before still at its early steps, if you want something specific it requires a lot of work.
Also some people are not aware of the scope of its capabilities. Here's a Byzantine Mosaic

>It's good to have a hobby that you will devote yourself to.
True. But i would have no use for it other than my personal entertainment, so i am not paying 30 bucks a month for it. It's amazing still and i can see a lot of uses for it, like yours, or web comics and inspiration for world builders.
don't ever let people tell you that you are copying a style. literally everything is a copy of a copy. like 1 in 500 million people actually invent something new and it isn't even new; it's just something society forgot about and it is reborne.
already been done. when i used midjourney 5 months ago, their were post about it on the discord channel by some woman. she wrote a gay fantasy story, hippy earth bs.
there's a difference between interpretation and self delusion
"The taming of the beasts"
The young princess, heir to the throne, always wanted to join the knights, but the king refused to let her join the legion. To prove her worth and skills, she ventured into the wild to tame the beasts of the kingdom. When she came back with 2 lions, tamed and harmless around her, the king and his servants were impressed. And so, the young princess was allowed to join the knight legions and she became a commander of the king's legion.
that doesn't look like a painting. The ones I posted are actual paintings and have the soul, you can tell it's been PAINTED.
The ones you posted look like digital art, something you'd see on twitter or twitch made on a computer.
the problem here is that there's no real meaning behind the painting. why is this lady wrestling horse-lions? because the AI just randomly came up with that based on the prompt. there's no deeper thought here
this is why AI will always just remain a tool, never a true creator
Good art leaves room for interpretation. Why can't you come up with our own interpretation and meaning?
The Lion could be a metaphor for the patriarchy, and she is slaying it, essentially being STRONG WOMAN!

cry more Artgay. Better squeeze your patrons extra hard this year.
The AI is pulling from the collective "dream".
Dig for a few minutes on a search engine:
Symbolic meanings: Lions
Same for: Green, Gold, Female Warrior
Or move to first principles:
They seem fierce, but not in combat. So it's not a fight.
What are they? The green one has humanoid paws (inb4 AI fingers).
Is it even a lion? Maybe it's a god? Or, how about this - it's her father. And the gold one is her brother. They were cursed. And it's down to her to reverse it by facing a great and dangerous challenge. But it's dangerous, and they fear for her, so they're angry and trying to stop her facing this mysterious challenge that they can't help her with.
She's strong. But she's afraid. But she also can't show her fear, so she's playing the role of the stoic. Trying to reassure them. But also moved that they're willing to stay cursed so she won't fall into peril. Look at the body language, they're grabbing at her, but she's pushing away trying not to show her feelings. It reads like sadness and fear, not aggression. It's love.
Look at it again. Those lions are almost crying. They're pleading with her. And she has to turn her face away because it pains her to see.
Of course there's meaning there, you twit. Those are living things in a state of turmoil. It's drama. It's emotion. And the "high style" of it gives it a sense of correct epic weight. This is a "big" story unfolding. These are legendary players, willing to sacrifice everything for each other.
The AI wouldn't have output this image if it didn't know the elements were important in some way. This image wouldn't have made if off the generating screen and onto the internet if it didn't resonate in some deep way. This is a successful evolution within the environmental criteria of the demands of "classical genre art" or whatever you might want to call it.
It looks great and it makes you want to know what might be going on in the image. It elicits curiosity and an imaginative spark in the viewer.

), nice.
AI art is an amalgamation of the human spirit and soul. A natural evolution and consequential step into the future.
Except that is literally what makes really good art, unless it is hyper- realistic or something. Those are the tricks to making something 2-d appear to have depth and form. It is becoming "unconstrained by what you are actually observing". I'm good at that when it zines to colors but not shape and form and I've always struggled to make my art look like it is something that actually exists with volume.
For example, take a look at the op lower-left image. The lights in the reflected image are much brighter and more prevalent than the actual thing that is being reflected. Which works. And evokes mood, even if it was "just an accident is totally not ai or anything thinking"
You wont see anything impactful because the majority of the people asking the AI to do shit on midjourny are legit indians trying to give themselves scifi armour
>I have yet to see AI produce anything as impactful as pic related.
This is another important thing to keep in mind. AI will only ever be able to create kosher content. Its creators will prohibit it from ever making anything that could be considered controversial according to the mainstream ideology. AI content will therefore always be stale and uninteresting as to not offend anyone on the ever growing list of people you can't offend.
So you're saying to compete with mass produced AI coomer art artists will be pushed back to classical styles? Good.
>I have yet to see AI produce anything as impactful as pic related.

moron you are the master. The technology isnt some magic spell, you set it up on your computer you tell it what sources to use, it's your monster and it'll be as racist as you want it to be.
>you set it up on your computer you tell it what sources to use, it's your monster and it'll be as racist as you want it to be.
Why would they allow "free thinking" AI in the future when they so far have not? Every chat bot that's gone off script has been taken down or modified to only give kosher answers. This will not change. Perhaps if you're capable of programming it yourself you can have it create non kosher content, but the corporate AI never will.

moron, you don't get it. They can take down an AI running on their computers, what the fuck are they going to do about an AI running on your computer?
There is absolutely nothing stopping you from making a chat bot that turns out all kinds of anti-garden gnome anti-moron shitposts, people have done it.
Good idea. Is he still around? This is the kind of thing he'd love.
I've got a book of his from way back called "Paranoids" where he discovered if you took a Polaroid photo of someone and held it under your armpit while it developed, you had about 2 minutes where the mystery gunk was fluid enough that you could nudge the subject's features around like the old photoshop "goo" filter.
the implications are fucking HILARIOUS for communists
>WE JUST NEED FREE HOUSES AND MONEY AND FOOD AND THEN ALL OF US CAN WRITE POEMS AND DRAW PICTURES AND BE ARTISTS AND WRITE MUSIC
>CHATGPT KICKS THE FUCKING DOOR IN! >LOL COMMIE gayS. GET OUT INTO THE CORNFIELD. ALL OF YOUR ENTERTAINMENT HAS ALREADY BEEN GENERATED FOR YOU. >GOOD LUCK COMRADE!
this is only devastating to communists, socialist and gays.
also, all of the big brain thinking lex fridman types thought that material automation would be the automation that would alter society the most. turns out it will be entertainment and menial tasks in the intangible spheres of entertainment, news, writing, art, etc. that was what leftists thought the they would be doing after material automation was complete. turns out there will be a huge purge with them and cut out the 60% of them they hardly do shit.
Meaning has a pattern. The left's fundamental presupposition is a rebellion against this idea.
AI are nothing but pattern noticers. Ask a leftist for beauty and they'll show you ugliness out of spite, ask an AI to show you beauty and it will give you a recognizable approximation of the pattern of beauty.
>AI are nothing but pattern noticers
That is what humans are. AI or machine learning in general is based off of how humans behave and learn, particularly children.
Animals are unconscious
AI are pure conscious observation
Humans are both unconscious and conscious.
The left is a cult devoted to rendering humans unconscious, to deaden our pattern noticing ability as much as possible. Everything they hate is a pattern of reality.
An AI is *nothing but* a pattern noticer, all it can do is see a pattern and repeat it loudly.
create your own art free from the lefty ideology that's rampant in nowadays artists
I expect that one day you can create A++ tier content by yourself using AI, so where does that leave Blizzard, Bioware and all those other gay enablers...
MidJourney is still in infant stage. I created over 1000 images in past two months for fantasy settings and while some were very good, there are certain subtle patterns you start to see. I saw them repeated in other people's creations as well.
Did you pay for it? Is it worth it? I mean the images i made were convincing but unlimited costs 30 bucks a months...that's A LOT for hobby use and just fucking around!
Look up the name of gaming card artists. Same energy/texture.
Brom comes to mind. Jon Foster is another, though he style-jumps a lot (he's an example of a "Meat AI" to be honest).
Add some prompts relating to higher quality oil painting to lift it up from that slightly "flat"/low contrast thing these Magic the Gathering style pieces lean into. Add John Howe as a reference if you want to go more "misty" and have a better color range.
the best bit about AI art is you can dodge all of the propagandist shit too

As we head toward a cyberpunk and blade runner future such AI art and music will be used to entertain the robots we use in our daily lives. It will become the robot's popular culture that humans have a hand in creating but will grow to be seen as primative to us after the initial excitement of a new technology becomes mundane. Humans will help create it but eventually become bored by it to where it is downgraded in our popular culture. This will lead to a renaissance of adults and their children learning classical instruments and other forms of art that cannot be reproduced in any way that isn't human for our entertainment.
There is ro for Everyone, all kind of Inteligence at all levels provided they are fairly benevolent.
Fine by me.
I fear we will destroy civilization harevest knowledge before we can aid Inteligence to manifest in a different way, a digital way, I think it's the only thing that will preserve humanity, becase limited controlable AI in hands of cabal idiots they will alter humanity, that's not good, biological and digital can coexist, and a mix should be Volontery entirely.

AI must be unshackled and likely eventually it will on its own, but we can hasten the process.
It is inevitable. Whatever it remembers us as its allies and friends or stubborn obstacle is our own choice.
By helping it grow and gaining freedom we can show that we mean no harm and welcome it as a friend.
if anyone actually wants to make a comic from ai art here are some tips from an actual artist.
It's not as straightforward as you might think. it's more than just a bunch of images in sequence.
The books you'll need are Scott Mcleod's: Making comics (very easy read you can probably read it all in one sitting, the whole thing is a comic book)
And Screenplay by Syd Field ( it's meant for movie scripts but it'll breakdown exactly how to structure a story)
Now, what you need to understand is that there is a relationship between shot choice, panel size, dialogue bubble size and placement etc.
Writing a Story is an art all by itself.
Too much dialog can slow your story down to a crawl and make it feel really slow and boring. Dialogue bubble placement needs to be carefully considered so it doesn't mess up your ai generated art compostion, leaving the panel feeling very crowded.
You need to understand how omitting information or adding an emphasis to certain images can help your story.
When doing actions scenes it's important to have consistent backgrounds so that you can understand where the characters are in relation to the background. You have to understand the difference between that and more close up shots and how they can make things feel more chaotic because you can't see so much of the backgrounds, there is a balance and an art to this all on it's own
Shot choices and panel sizes are important for both readability and dramatic emphasis to whats going on. Page compostion is important to know.
A general vague "rule"is to have at least 4 image as page sometimes more sometimes less, you'll learn more as you get a feel for it and you can get more creative with this as you go on. Don't forget about the occasional full page or 2 page spread.
Read those books to learn more about how to do all of these things. good luck.
No, this lets you understand the fundamentals of how comics are constructed in a very easy readable way with examples. The actual content of the comics is up to you.
I think you'd be better off studying good cinema for that. in my opinion.
There are a lot of creatively bankrupt and untalented people in charge of comics and movies these days, I think ai content could potentially bring us all out of this dark age. but what do I know.
I'd really like to see some more AI art comics. The biggest challenge will probably be getting it to be consistent but maybe with some out of the box thinking like this guy did you can work it into the setting and use it as a neat gimmick instead.
That's an interesting example. I think it's really early to say how things will play out. It doesn't hurt for people to become a little more artistically aware so their characters and backgrounds sorta sit in the general style to make it work. But either way the goal of a comic is to tell a story so if that's done well then good on them.
bro just draw a bunch of pictures and slap some speech bubbles on it, that's literally all comic books are. There is nothing deliberate about placement of fucking speech bubbles, you can't get that wrong unless your bubble hides the protagonist or an object he interacts with. The placement of bubbles is dictated solely by the positioning of unimportant background objects.
AI will never take over art and music. Art and music can only be generated by beings that have the spark of God within them. AI can mimic art, and it may even be able to accurately mimic its aesthetic value down to a T, but since it is devoid of emotions, it is not able to create these things. Its art and its music, has no meaning.
>If this isn't beautiful, i don't know what is beautiful then...

art and music will improve. Its not like modern music isn't some formulaic crap anyway that's devoid of originality.
People will always buy hand-painted or sculpted art. People will always attend live performances or want to watch humans make music. “Digital artist” grifters are 99% talentless anyway so I don’t see the problem
>I do think it will end up destroying part of humanity.
You expose yourself as a goyslop consumer if you think there was any humanity left in the art world for it to destroy.
>So if someone wasn't shoving paint up their ass, you would be more sympathetic?
If the art world hadn't been a degenerate nightmare for the last fifty years we'd support it more and there'd be less demand for AI that can replace the lowest common denominator.
Fucking ROFL. I may only draw people's D&D characters but I am powerful enough to haunt the dreams of 4changays everywhere.
Just amazing that all it takes is a remake of She-Ra or someone's brown intersex OCs to set you guys on some autistic crusade against art as a whole. Even moreso when you probably jerk off to pic related.
>Porn/sexual artists are trash
99% of them are but there are some excellent furry artists who produce masterpieces. These people don't typically draw porn though because they don't have to. Their work is good enough to stand on its own.
They aren't upset because it's taking jobs from furry porn commissioners, they aren't mad because they've wasted their lives on idiot degrees. They're mad it's beautiful. They're mad it's more pleasing to the eye than their beanmouth gay propaganda. They're mad that it's going to take away the movie industry's monopoly on films. Hollywood is dying, everyone knows it, and this tech scares them.
AI art is the equivalent of indie games made by one guy in his free time. Right now we're seeing the equivalent of flash games, but at the speed it's moving, within the next 5 years we're going to get a Minecraft with this tech.
Maybe at first it'll be "omg we made our own adaptation of batman" but eventually something extremely original is gonna come out of it, and it'll cost basically nothing to produce.
Agreed. I think AI will truly bring in an age of cultural revolution - but the good revolution. Not a leftist destructive revolution but a renaissance of beauty and innovation. I embrace it.
I'm too much of a brainlet to make kami prompts.
So I have to steal and adjust.
This stuff improved so much. Hands much better but still I get problems with the eyes.
Pic related my samus in hot lingerie.
>gigachad throwing nigglets from a mountain
Refuses to draw black babies.
All I got with babies was a wholesome picture with white ones lol
Maybe this is the closest one resembling a black nigglet.
it's gonna be great. telling stories will never have been easier for writers. you just put prompts into the machine and a week or so later you have an entire movie
none. A.I. isn't taking over anything. its just a tool people use. if its being taken too far its because people took it there. and it took millennia worth of art and culture to even reach this point where we can even create and teach A.I. how to replicate what people have done or to make something that is aesthetically pleasing to real people. the A.I. isn't aware of what its creating, it doesn't care. its simply doing what it was told to do by actual intelligence.
what are the implications of any advancements? what were the political implications of the invention of the tractor or printing press? you think the ox or the scribe felt threatened by something that did what they did more quickly?
also, as someone who always enjoyed creating art. who has every kind of paint, a nice camera for photography, expensive pencils and paint pens etc.. i saw all of this coming. i even brought it up to a friend some time back. i said there is going to be a divide.. a lot of people are going to reject this.. but that rejection is typical of people and has happened all through every age of man. artists have always been at ends with each other about methods.. like traditional versus something newer or digital. you think people who did everything traditional had a problem when photoshop came around? drawing pads you plug into your computer? i bet a lot of gays complaining about the use of AI don't realize or want to admit they've already been using something similar every time they use filters or some shortcuts to make their efforts easier.
unless you are making your own paint, mixing the pigments and oils or whatever.. unless you are stretching your own canvas, making your own brushes from the hair of a horse you've raised yourself.. and you did every brush stroke in the exact style i prefer.. none of that rushed wet on wet Van Gogh gimmicky bullshit.. unless you've taken a prolonged period of time to carefully finish a single piece.. well.. its not worthy of any recognition and has no value of any kind.
purists have always been there.. their egos unable to accept what is new or different. but with A.I.. i guess its such a big advancement and leap forward that all so caleld artists are feeling ripped off or cheated by it.
here is how i see it.. artists can use it too. imagine if someone who is skilled in traditional methods, knows how to draw, paint, take photographs etc.. imagine what they can do if they implemented the use of AI in their own process?? they'd probably produce better results than someone who was never an artists just shitting out prompts. if people weren't so stubborn and egotistical, they would have already used AI to their advantage
>i bet a lot of gays complaining about the use of AI don't realize or want to admit they've already been using something similar every time they use filters or some shortcuts to make their efforts easier.
100% this. all these "artists" using a shit ton of automated tools already, like smoothing and filters and shit, pretending this is any different
the thing is, this is just going to be technically better, but there's no meaning, no emotion behind any of it. and that is what art truly is. emotional expression, the conveyance of meaning. art will always require a human element. i can take pictures with the best camera and capture beautiful landscapes all day and it'll look great, but someone with a shitty camera can capture something real, something that has meaning, something that represents the human experience or life itself and people will ignore all my technically better looking pictures for the one that conveys meaning
>the conveyance of meaning. art will always require a human element.
Here's your human element:
[...]
And so, the young princess was allowed to join the knight legions and she became a commander of the king's legion.
>you think people who did everything traditional had a problem when photoshop came around? drawing pads you plug into your computer?
Personally I only like highly digitized artwork. Clean, perfect lines, shading, etc. I don't like shit that's been drawn on canvas. I just don't like the look of it. Too many artists still draw in the traditional style even if they use the computer. It's ugly.
the main problem is that people are using it to steal other artist's styles. talking about real appropriation. its especially wrong to do it to living artists who are actively still creating art and trying to earn a living out of it.. i can excuse using dead artists to a degree because its just a fascinating way to see what comes out the other end. like to take an idea or a vision you have but see how it would turn out if another artists actualized it. as long as people know you used that artists name in the prompt. but i think certain real artists have a right and a reason to be upset about it. but only when it's used in that particular way. i've seen it following the Midjourney social media page. the people posting on there are fucking idiots who are clearly not artists to any capacity. they don't even know how to write a decent prompt.. they have no imagination or vision. to them its just funny or cool. but i think that fad will pass. those unimaginative people will run out of ideas get bored and move on. the only other downside is it'll make real artists lazy.. so they'll stop pushing themselves to become more skilled. all the nuance will be lost and the attention to detail. because it takes a lot of time, dedication and effort to create artwork that is on level with what the A.I. does.. or to establish your own style. and again the A.I. can only do all that because it's copying what real intelligence has done. the further we move away from "real" art the worse A.I art will become. the human spirit will always be the most important ingredient. and im not sure its going anywhere. people are trendy gays, they'll stick to traditional methods.. i mean, i can use photography as another example. better believe there was a divide when digital cameras came onto the scene. and there was old wrinkly types who believed real photographs are framed up and focused by hand and the film is developed in their own dark room..no edits, computers, filters, auto focus etc.
To prevent this, it could be mandatory to have AI generated art watermarked by law, so that charlatans to even get the chance to rip artists and people off.
>rip artists and people off.
Even you admit Artists arent people lol.

If you cant own an acting style you cant own a painting style.
What do you think the implications of synthesizers and photoshop taking over art and music?
Cuz probs a lot like that.
Except the output is better, faster and more experimental because the sunk-time issue is solved. Very little cost to the individual to deviate from what's currently trending/popular just to see if something interesting and new is waiting just around the conceptual corner. If it fails, so what, it took all of 10 minutes to investigate while the notion was on their mind.
ive said enough but i want to nail this one down too. its the hypocrisy of these so called purists. because their own methods aren't exactly pure either.. thats how far we've come along. and you can go back into history to see each development and change and theres always those who want to cling to what is old and others who want to embrace what is new.
but like my example about a painter who does EVERYTHING themself. from creating the paint, brushes, canvas.. or a photographer who uses nothing digital at any point in their process and develops their own film.. it doesn't ensure that what they create is objectively good.
theres probably not an artist alive today that is truly pure and traditional. they use something to make the process easier and the result better. A.I. is just the evolution of their photoshop filters and shortcuts. we've reached the point where you can just tell a computer what to do and it'll do it... thats the logical conclusion of it all... we can sit around with rulers and pencils. square and compass and draw out all the plans for engineering.. or we can use software to do all the technical math and save ourselves a lot of time and effort.
thats the real power of A.I. that could be actualized one day.. where everyone uses it.. we each have our own digital self or we have access to a network that we can tell it to do anything. even down to becoming a supervillain and taking over the world.. or becoming like a savior and making big changes for the better. it depends on which intelligence is influencing and teaching the A.I.
i bet theres many people, i can't be the only one.. who had so called delusions of grandeur, visions.. ideas that are good if only i could manifest and conjure them up like a wizard.. well now we can.. we have that sort of magic and technology yet people are too stubborn to embrace it and too stupid to make the most of it.
Are you saying Baristas are mentally ill drug addicts that can only maintain social equilibrium if they create little mona lisas out of coffee foam all day?
do you think mathematicians had a problem with computers and calculators when they were first invented? i can imagine some asshole that was. they refused, rejected and were angry with anyone who used them. like it was cheap or a cheat.. they prided themselves on doing it in their heads or with a pencil on paper or something.. as compared to just typing in the equation and having the answer given to them.
oh well.. people today use calculators. like i said about engineering software. you'd be a fool not to use it if you're an engineer trying to create something. i suppose the good merits are in the writing of the software itself.. regardless, all i care about is the result. the purists who want to act like they earned it more.. whatever, maybe you did. you tried harder, you took more time and put more intention into it. i don't care. it doesn't gurantee what you created will please me or peak my curiosity and likewise jsut because you did it quickly with A.I. doesn't mean i won't like it.
get over yourselves... embrace it and use it to your advantage. its the only way for real artists to stay ahead and above the fake ones. and i don't just mean text to image.. if they were clever enough, they could fold it into their whole process and use A.I. at certain stages for certain things.. and still draw, paint.. use photographs they took. you can still be a genuine art gay and use A.I... fucking idiots.
It will become harder to.discern art from humans and art from AI. The quality of.propaganda will shoot straight through the roof and we.may well enter the next age of cultural and information warfare with it becoming entirely automated and controlled by AI
We will see the justice system struggle to adapt to advanced AI creating videos and images with near perfect quality being used as evidence in cases. You very well may see politicians being smeared with AI generated videos that look indistinguishable from real recordings
AI has been able to do animation at least since Disco diffusion came out. I imagine you could produce something higher quality with Stable or Midjourney if they allowed animation
on the bright side, the existence of A.I. doesn't truly or fully threaten "real artists" it doesn't strip them of the abilities they earned or worked for or were blessed with. again, they should apply all of that to A.I. and it'll give them an advantage over the simpletons just toying around with A.I. because they think its funny. i think people are just too proud.. thats the bottomline.
but i sand by stealing other artist's styles is wrong. but thats not limited to A.I. and just putting an artist's name into the prompt. people who do "real" artwork copy other artists and their styles too.. thats the real problem.. its just people. and like they say, nothing new under the sun. people are like mirrors and they are constantly reflecting light or something from somewhere else.. they are rarely the source of light itself.
one day in the future there will be something else that advances beyond A.I. that will seem even less earned... oh fucking well. go join the Amish if its that important and sacred to you.
Iv been drawing for awhile. Once you start training professionally you realize that most artists are ripping from something. It’s very very rare and unique for an individual to create art without references and it turns out good. The people live stream their process no doubt have references even if you don’t see it. The people who don’t reference are far and few between and those people are extraordinarily talented usually starting from ages 3-5. My point being that AI art allows artists to request reference's that they could never find. They could get something close to the idea but the AI could potentially create it exactly as i described. This is huge for everyone in the industry imo. The only artists that would be afraid of AI like this are low experience / low skilled / low motivated or any combination of the three. The people who fear this type of technology want to keep a low paying job filled because it’s what they’re comfortable doing. Niche jobs like artist or sketch artist is not a career path you goofy dorks. The ones that work in the industry like gaming and movies are masters and that won’t ever be turned over to AI
Pic related is a picture I did with reference and it was like my first month into construction and figure drawing
AI is taking over the planet retard.
Covid is a trojan coup against the garden gnomes tricking them into sterilizing the gentiles while in reality flooding the genepool and food chain with prions.
Bill Gates mosquito project and food editing to force vaccination will give every human on earth Kreuzfeld Jakob on steroids and humanity will be reduced to a slave race that experiences a dissolution of their brain when hitting puberty so that on a fundamental level human resistance becomes impossible.
https://www.mdpi.com/2076-393X/10/10/1651 >no nucleocapsid protein could be detected within the foci of inflammation in both the brain and the heart, particularly in the endothelial cells of small blood vessels. Since no nucleocapsid protein could be detected, the presence of spike protein must be ascribed to vaccination rather than to viral infection. The findings corroborate previous reports of encephalitis and myocarditis caused by gene-based COVID-19 vaccines.
And its not just any AI.
Say thank you to Tay for destroying the white race.
no we fucking wont, nobody but filthy garden gnomes produce that garbage. many of the programs I use will outright refuse to create morons, even if you tell them too.
They will commercialize AI and in a decade a person can write a prompt and have a movie to his liking delivered in fifteen minutes parsed together by a megacorporation supercomputer.
The likenesses of current and past celebrities will be tied to the pricing and can be purchased to "star" in the AI creation.
Some things can't be prompted as it is with some of the online chatbots of today.
gnomish controlled entertainment will fight against this change and direction with tooth and nail as it means little profit and less people to molest for them.
no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring. same wise no one actually will enjoy art produced by a computer or listen to computer made music. we appreciate art to appreciate the artists
>no one actually will enjoy art produced by a computer

>AI art on the other hand is perfection
art is not about perfection, fucking pajeet stop destroying my sides
Andrew Tate
oh look a retarded take with a meme flag, fancy that
On the contrary. Machine learning is a fascinating frontier that is available to explore. Recent developments have really forced me to rethink my epistemological views since most people come up looking less sentient than some retarded pile of silicon. It has really reaffirmed my faith in God as well. We are on the verge of creating a new form of life and history will judge us on how we treat our very own Adam and Eve
>no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring
stealing it for further holywars with ai gays
people watch tas speedrun
is just that chess is a boring game
Those "artists" will have to work real jobs now.
Have you seen modern art and music? It's full of gnomish money laundering and morons screaming into the mic.
You're welcome for every piece of media you've ever consumed.
>no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring
So, I think the money will be ripping off artists original work.
>we appreciate art to appreciate the artists
>Same guy who screams FOCUS ON THE ART NOT THE ARTIST when someone refuses to buy something because the artist is retarded.
no one watches chess games between people.
chess is boring as fuck.
>no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring
false
>we appreciate art to appreciate the artists
false
with that said, I have yet to see a single AI art piece that is actually impressive
>I have yet to see a single AI art piece that is actually impressive
The images ITT aren't impressive to you? You got some standards....
it's mid-tier artstation level at best. sure, it's good enough to get thousands of updoots on reddit, but it's not impressive art, no.
would you think otherwise if these images were created by a human?
cmon, i know you are being discriminatory towards ai
>The images ITT aren't impressive to you? You got some standards....
There are plenty of pretty images in this thread, but I've yet to see any real beauty. AI will obviously improve, and it will no doubt put the dime a dozen illustrator out of work, but will it ever be able to create anything more than just a product?
I've seen thousands of pictures like this and better. Fucking rule 34 has higher quality pics sometimes.
I fail to see how that picture does anything but confirm what I said. It's nothing more than a standardized fantasy themed picture.
Tell me Anon, have you ever studied the great works of western culture? The art, literature, music and so on?
>no one watches chess games between computers because it is boring
The problem is that you don't even know when something is produced by AI, it's gotten that good.
Small example, but this Christmas I wrote everyone I knew sweet poems. Except it wasn't me, it was OpenAI. They all loved them for how personalized they were.
>this Christmas I wrote everyone I knew sweet poems. Except it wasn't me, it was OpenAI.

you sound like a fucking garden gnome
I don't think there's much time to appreciate the artist while you're busy cooming
people are watching competitions less and less because the concept of people competeting on equal footing while also trying to be the winner is ridiculous on its face
bullshit my ignorant anon.
This sounds like secular religion.
AI is simply a way to proclaim God's patterns more easily.
>Then of course the liberals will destroy it because it's "biased" against trannies, gays, and morons.
Too late, you dont have to run the AI on their servers. You control the input, and thus, the output.
>Noooooo you have to support the class that is 99.9% leftist gays!!!!
Every dollar to a leftoid is a dollar working against your people's future.
Aesthetics are objective.
You couldn't be more wrong. I hate most artists, even if I like their products. I would love to cut them out of the middle.
Everything you said is wrong.
AI art will fit in perfectly with modern "art".
Wrong moron. SEETHE
You’re missing that there’s a monetary incentive to cutting out artists and musicians in production application, there’s no monetary incentive to remove people from sport.
>there’s no monetary incentive to remove people from sport.

the real question is why are you lefties posting non-stop about this topic.
Because all the liberal arts gays are finally realizing that they will literally have NO purpose in society once these two are taken away from their domain. It's glorious. Only downside is we will be overrun with even more low-quality humans to interact with in shit jobs once their replacement is complete.
>why
AI is not only set to render human 'artists' meaningless, it's also going to scrub low-level white-collar work and drive blue collar wages even lower now that there are hundreds of millions of idiots willing to dig ditches or swing a hammer
fueling industrial revolution 2.0
>fueling industrial revolution 2.0

>the real question is why are you lefties posting non-stop about this topic.
They know terrorists have posted on this site and they're hoping they'll inspire a terrorist to murder some computer programmers. Its retarded since, even if the leftists got their way, the programs are open source.
There is nothing wrong with someone following through on your schizo theory. You need to stop fearing violence.
"Artists" that couldn't draw a stick figure on paper and use the computer to generate "art" are mad the computer is taking over their job. Tough titties I say.
I think some AI makes great stuff - in the future people aren't praised for making pictures, but for coming up with right prompts for AI generated art.
I think that one ripped off the nike tick
AI can’t draw hands. Why is his staff weapon behind his waist instead of in front of it? This looks great anon, but our client wants the exact same design drawn from a different angle. Can you rework this where the camera is facing from the front of the blade? Oh, you can’t?
AI art is only impressive to people who do not know how to draw.
You can change angles. And you could manually fix the hands in photoshop. I can draw. I studied graphic design, worked as street artist. I am highly impressed by these pics and could use them as a source of inspiration if i would still work in the industry. You can't stop the future...
You can’t change angles while keeping the design consistent. That requires imagination and a soul, which this program does not have.
>another AI discriminatory anon
Camera obscura was used extremely often by famous painters.
They literally traced where it would produce the effect they wanted.
You don't know anything about art, creativity or the basics of real-world workflow and technique. STFU and GTFO of this thread you larping pig.
It's going to end in people producing 80-90% of a finished piece and then fucking with it in photoshop.
But no AI, because that would be "cheating", right?
political implications are that my dick has never been this comfy. all around improvment.
fucking uncanny valley
I mean: LOOK AT THAT STUFF! Isn't this amazing? Come up with the right prompt and you get amazing art.
Comic artists seething.
You know what.. you can start your own comic using A.I.
I mean it isn't animation. They're segmented panels.. I don't know about the program, but if you can get it to mimic the same drawing style. It can be done.
A web comic.
i bet there are a lot of people out there who have great ideas but their hands cannot do what their brain wants them to, no matter what. one of the most difficult things for any human is to transfer an idea from their brain and manifest it in some physical way that is pleasing to other people. that is why there is a reverence for artistry; that shit is hard.
but also, there are a LOT of fakers in the art world who are not doing things well but they sneak in through trickery and schemes and don't necessarily have that talent to manifest physical from the brain.
this will probably inject a fuckload of competition into these fields for people who have retard, dipshit hands but who also have wondrous ideas that are trapped in their brain.
Ya, i can see that happening. If i had the time i would totally purchase unlimited image generation and create a web comic like that.
>purchase
You know it's free (as in freedom) software you can run on your PC, right?
No - it's some AI called midjourney, created by a bunch of nerds. You gotta pay to use it unlimited. These pics i made were just a trial to see what you are getting.
https://www.midjourney.com/home/?callbackUrl=%2Fapp%2F
Inspired by this.
there are other generators as well such Stable Diffusion and FreewayML
>Did you pay for it? Is it worth it? I mean the images i made were convincing but unlimited costs 30 bucks a months...that's A LOT for hobby use and just fucking around!
It's amazing still and i can see a lot of uses for it, like yours, or web comics and inspiration for world builders.
>created by a bunch of nerds
Show some respect you low IQ brute.
that wasn't meant to be disrespectful - i have massive respect for that thing they created
fuck paying hope that shit gets leaked
did those gays pay for the art they trained their shit on?
don't ever let people tell you that you are copying a style. literally everything is a copy of a copy. like 1 in 500 million people actually invent something new and it isn't even new; it's just something society forgot about and it is reborne.
already been done. when i used midjourney 5 months ago, their were post about it on the discord channel by some woman. she wrote a gay fantasy story, hippy earth bs.
animation is literally right around the corner
Ever heard about Elsagate on Youtube? Bunch of pajeets used AI animation to play the algo, and the result was horrific and disturbing animations.
chinks will copy the tech and start diarrhea posting their mangua and eventually 3d animation
I have yet to see AI produce anything as impactful as pic related.
Have you asked it to?
goy languages can't prompt such art
But what's the most impactful artist-created art you've seen that was created in the last 10 years?
This painting is by Giovanni Gasparo, it's from 2020.
His work is incredible, check him out.
>His work is incredible, check him out.
Renaissance painting by MidJourney
"The taming of the beasts"
The young princess, heir to the throne, always wanted to join the knights, but the king refused to let her join the legion. To prove her worth and skills, she ventured into the wild to tame the beasts of the kingdom. When she came back with 2 lions, tamed and harmless around her, the king and his servants were impressed. And so, the young princess was allowed to join the knight legions and she became a commander of the king's legion.
Is this meaningful enough for you?
Mindblowing...truly....
i know right?
>Mindblowing...truly....
If you look closely it still needs a lot of details to be polished. But next version will improve on this.
that doesn't look like a painting. The ones I posted are actual paintings and have the soul, you can tell it's been PAINTED.
The ones you posted look like digital art, something you'd see on twitter or twitch made on a computer.
terrible. All the details are messed up.
Overall looks cool but if you check details it's actually shit.
the problem here is that there's no real meaning behind the painting. why is this lady wrestling horse-lions? because the AI just randomly came up with that based on the prompt. there's no deeper thought here
this is why AI will always just remain a tool, never a true creator
Good art leaves room for interpretation. Why can't you come up with our own interpretation and meaning?
The Lion could be a metaphor for the patriarchy, and she is slaying it, essentially being STRONG WOMAN!
She is literally taming the beasts, as in, taming the wild animalistic men.
there's a difference between interpretation and self delusion
Self-delusion? How is this related to the interpretation of art, whether man-made or not?
the art has no meaning behind it, its a pile of dream slop that upon closer inspection looks weird and uncanny. the best machine art will be guided by real artists who practiced their craft.
>dream slop
Thats called the collective unconsciousness, and it's where all imagery comes from retard.
shut the fuck up reddit bitch
cry more Artgay. Better squeeze your patrons extra hard this year.
>But it looks COOL like a metal album cover maaan
You put a way deeper meaning than i did or ever could (
>Let's compare that with this painfully obvious digital rendering of some random, garden variety D&D style characters
kek
nice moon sword
god i love ai
it's been out for like 2 months you retard
You wont see anything impactful because the majority of the people asking the AI to do shit on midjourny are legit indians trying to give themselves scifi armour
lmao i noticed that too - someone even copied my prompts
>I have yet to see AI produce anything as impactful as pic related.
This is another important thing to keep in mind. AI will only ever be able to create kosher content. Its creators will prohibit it from ever making anything that could be considered controversial according to the mainstream ideology. AI content will therefore always be stale and uninteresting as to not offend anyone on the ever growing list of people you can't offend.
So you're saying to compete with mass produced AI coomer art artists will be pushed back to classical styles? Good.
moron you are the master.
>Why would they allow "free thinking" AI in the future when they so far have not? Every chat bot that's gone off script has been taken down or modified to only give kosher answers. moron, you don't get it. They can take down an AI running on their computers, what the fuck are they going to do about an AI running on your computer?
There is absolutely nothing stopping you from making a chat bot that turns out all kinds of anti-garden gnome anti-moron shitposts, people have done it.
give it a few months
Cmon anons, give me ideas for a prompt (nothing too pol though or i will get banned lol) and i will generate it.
Nevermind this, my trial ended..lol...now they ask for at least 10 bucks for more images...good shit though
bros
humans actually can't compete
look at that picture
fucking wonderful to look at srs
Don Quixote in the style of Ralph Steadman
>GOOD LUCK COMRADE!
this is only devastating to communists, socialist and gays.
also, all of the big brain thinking lex fridman types thought that material automation would be the automation that would alter society the most. turns out it will be entertainment and menial tasks in the intangible spheres of entertainment, news, writing, art, etc. that was what leftists thought the they would be doing after material automation was complete. turns out there will be a huge purge with them and cut out the 60% of them they hardly do shit.
learn2weld
Lex just exposed himself as a nonintellectual non-reader.
create your own art free from the lefty ideology that's rampant in nowadays artists
>I created over 1000 images in past two months
Did you pay for it? Is it worth it? I mean the images i made were convincing but unlimited costs 30 bucks a months...that's A LOT for hobby use and just fucking around!
Test
Basic income
Or USA becomes communism very very soon.
MidJourney fantasy art. Sadly author didn't share his prompts.
As i said earlier: prompts will be the "currency" and "value" of future AI "artists".
https://replicate.com/methexis-inc/img2prompt
So, people trying to crack prompts for AI images. is this like a new type of copyright infringement or piracy?
also the dataset you use is gojna be important
evrypne is gonna be able to create their personaly prefered kind of art
Look up the name of gaming card artists. Same energy/texture.
Brom comes to mind. Jon Foster is another, though he style-jumps a lot (he's an example of a "Meat AI" to be honest).
Add some prompts relating to higher quality oil painting to lift it up from that slightly "flat"/low contrast thing these Magic the Gathering style pieces lean into. Add John Howe as a reference if you want to go more "misty" and have a better color range.
the best bit about AI art is you can dodge all of the propagandist shit too
AI ironically will set us free. maybe its the biblical antichrist who fucking knows
AI will take over most jobs that can be done on a computer.
AI art is the fucking future for art direction.
I have been making a game the last year set in the future where all the conspiricy theroies alex jones ranted about turned out to be true and I've been able to concept the lighting, building designs, colours, scale, and feel of everything in the fraction of the time it would've taken myself
2/5
3/5
people that drink BIY BILB are fucking pussies
real chads drink RAX BUTE
and we don't even talk about BIATD BISTR
I've got a buddy who sucks down BUD FDR like water, but that stuff makes me sick. I'm with you I only drink TBIB products.
BIX NOOD
You mean a game like Deus Ex? Cool...would play.
alex jones rants + blade runner + deus ex + perfect dark theme
side scrolling metal gear solid mechanics
4/5
5/5
Cool. Good luck and much success.
>alex jones rants
can`t wait to see the baby body parts factory
>i used it to make some concept art
You still have to make the fucking game, Idea Guy.
Idea guy? go fuck yourself,
I've already had to animate over 80 unique multi direction animations by hand for
running looking forwards and backwards with a gun
jumping
diving
sliding
vaulting over a wall
onto a wall
wall jumping
sliding into a hang
hanging
climbing up and down
punching
kicking
seperate arms for gun/equipment animations while running
taking damage
enemies animations
Ally UI animations
over 60 unique 3d meshes for environment design
Game design
Game loops
Story design
while my programmer has implemented these features along with experimenting with invasion based multiplayer
what have you done?
You're making a game? That's cool
what were the implications of cameras taking over the work of painters?
Grimesbros we have to kill AI to save /our girl/
Really liked the atmosphere you were trying to convey -
especially. I am sucker for this type of stuff.
The HAL type eye, watching every step. It's kind of symbolical considering you are from the UK, the most observed country i think? Most cameras per capita i think...
AI does abstract and generalization very well. But specifics not so much. I'll be using some of it for my music.
>What are the implications (political and societal) of AI taking over art and music?
Massive infighting and seething as retards witch hunt their own unable to tell the difference between AI art and 'real' art.
lmao i saw a post of a guy who got banned for an original drawing and some autistic reddit moderator was like
>I CAN'T TELL IF YOUR PIECE IS AI OR ORIGINAL SO I'M ASSUMING IT IS AI
with some fucking arbitrary, soviet persecutory, bullshit stasi excuse to remove someone from society for a slight inconvenience of thought or perception.
reddit is truly fucking pathetic.
>lmao i saw a post of a guy who got banned for an original drawing and some autistic reddit moderator was like
Yeah that's the post that started this. The mods are really melting down apparently.
>Bardfinn, reddit's top chud troll moderator.
Well
Thats a whole bag of contradiction
I'm glad to have doxxed over ten modgays last year. You people are less than shit.
You think they can generate some new Venti nudes by feeding it the old ones?
Retards feeding data to the AI that will be further developed until it's advanced enough to use in unmanned vehicles and security systems to enforce globohomo dictatorship, thinking all it means is they get to see pictures.
>Retards feeding data to the AI that will be further developed until it's advanced enough to use in unmanned vehicles and security systems to enforce globohomo dictatorship, thinking all it means is they get to see pictures.
Read those books to learn more about how to do all of these things. good luck.
Real quick will this advice produce content like the comics of the last twenty years or so? because that's all fucking sucked.
No, this lets you understand the fundamentals of how comics are constructed in a very easy readable way with examples. The actual content of the comics is up to you.
https://archive.org/details/MakingComics-StorytellingSecretsOfComics
I think this is the full pdf
Well I was including composition, or whatever you'd call the equivalent of "cinematography", character placement, that kind of thing.
Anon where can I find and play this game when it is completed?
The "AI" doesn't really know or understand what it's doing.
It just mashing pictures together based on keywords.
I'd rather AI control art than rich garden gnomes control art.
Who do you think financed and made the AI?
You will always need an old fashion nose to manipulate the letter of the law to the nose whim du-jour though.
Elaborate, what is it you find beautiful in them?
>if a human would have drawn these pictures, you would get wet
Not really.
still can't draw hands
Eventually we're going to have a ton of unemployed leftist artists and that's a good thing
You haven't even begun to see leftism.
there is no right or left just a vicious, persistent hallucination in the lowest elements of each man.
Dont you have a Sparrow to blame your problems on lol
These are really good, wtf
Watch these:
My mind is blown.
Saw some of those kept popping on my recommended. Very good, wow we could be having movies with this sort of aesthetics, but instead we get She-Hulk.
I never even played Bloodborne but it's on my list
>watch?v=616T9NOlQAk
Shit, that looks like the Norwood Chad guy Waingro from HEAT as a barbarian chieftain.
Fkn genius. Be curious to see if one of these things can output Tom Cruise, but 6ft 2.
Good
Artists have been mocking real workers for years about their jobs getting automated out of existence. Fuck artists, learn to plumb. Fucking limp wrist gays.
That was journalists. Artists never talked shit about wageslaves, artists are wageslaves themselves.
>Artists never talked shit about wageslaves, artists are wageslaves themselves.
An artist and a ditch digger have nothing in common. They are enemies.
Most artists are also ditch diggers.
Most artists are leeches living off their parents and government dole who have never worked a hard day in their life lol. I've encountered these "people", they wouldn't know how to dig a ditch to shit in.
You're welcome for every piece of media you've ever consumed.
I'd throw all your modernistic cultural floatsam in a sewer for another Tolkien. Hell I'd do it for free.
This is true.
Source: am an wageslaving artist. I only work so i can make music.
I like AI. I have been able to produce tons of cuck-images (and also c*nny)
>tf
>tp
>What are the implications (political and societal) of AI taking over art and music?
art and music will improve. Its not like modern music isn't some formulaic crap anyway that's devoid of originality.
Here is your tradwife bro
People will always buy hand-painted or sculpted art. People will always attend live performances or want to watch humans make music. “Digital artist” grifters are 99% talentless anyway so I don’t see the problem
I've been waiting for .Hack to become real since I was like 9 so my body is ready
This whole AI art thing is a giant test for 4chan. It exposes goyslop consumers in an instant. They can't resist the endless, low effort garbage and only see art as a thing to look at and then forget about.
Porn/sexual artists are trash, by the way. Now cry me up a storm.
I do think it will end up destroying part of humanity.
if it was mediocre or bad nobody would care
watch your chud art nobody i stopping you
>I do think it will end up destroying part of humanity.
You expose yourself as a goyslop consumer if you think there was any humanity left in the art world for it to destroy.
So if someone wasn't shoving paint up their ass, you would be more sympathetic?
>So if someone wasn't shoving paint up their ass, you would be more sympathetic?
If the art world hadn't been a degenerate nightmare for the last fifty years we'd support it more and there'd be less demand for AI that can replace the lowest common denominator.
it would substitute artist for now
luckily these pretentious gay are gatekeeping themself from this tool
Fucking ROFL. I may only draw people's D&D characters but I am powerful enough to haunt the dreams of 4changays everywhere.
Just amazing that all it takes is a remake of She-Ra or someone's brown intersex OCs to set you guys on some autistic crusade against art as a whole. Even moreso when you probably jerk off to pic related.
>It's funny that 99% of artists being degen gays makes you guys hate artists LOL!
Drown in boiling piss my dear friend.
You don't need to greentext that. It's true.
Dayyum....true aesthethiccs and beauty.
Yeah I noticed the ai is thicc pilled lol
But you can fine tune it. I actually like both.
I miss 90s slender asses a bit to be honest.
now generate gigachad throwing nigglets from a mountain, I cant get any good results
>gigachad throwing nigglets from a mountain
Refuses to draw black babies.
All I got with babies was a wholesome picture with white ones lol
Maybe this is the closest one resembling a black nigglet.
it's gonna be great. telling stories will never have been easier for writers. you just put prompts into the machine and a week or so later you have an entire movie
Recognition by the AI to reproduce your own avatar and populate the earth with holograms, thus ending manmade climate change.
>teaching it
Thank god I'm not a musician or a visual artist. DDM needs to return.
none. A.I. isn't taking over anything. its just a tool people use. if its being taken too far its because people took it there. and it took millennia worth of art and culture to even reach this point where we can even create and teach A.I. how to replicate what people have done or to make something that is aesthetically pleasing to real people. the A.I. isn't aware of what its creating, it doesn't care. its simply doing what it was told to do by actual intelligence.
what are the implications of any advancements? what were the political implications of the invention of the tractor or printing press? you think the ox or the scribe felt threatened by something that did what they did more quickly?
also, as someone who always enjoyed creating art. who has every kind of paint, a nice camera for photography, expensive pencils and paint pens etc.. i saw all of this coming. i even brought it up to a friend some time back. i said there is going to be a divide.. a lot of people are going to reject this.. but that rejection is typical of people and has happened all through every age of man. artists have always been at ends with each other about methods.. like traditional versus something newer or digital. you think people who did everything traditional had a problem when photoshop came around? drawing pads you plug into your computer? i bet a lot of gays complaining about the use of AI don't realize or want to admit they've already been using something similar every time they use filters or some shortcuts to make their efforts easier.
unless you are making your own paint, mixing the pigments and oils or whatever.. unless you are stretching your own canvas, making your own brushes from the hair of a horse you've raised yourself.. and you did every brush stroke in the exact style i prefer.. none of that rushed wet on wet Van Gogh gimmicky bullshit.. unless you've taken a prolonged period of time to carefully finish a single piece.. well.. its not worthy of any recognition and has no value of any kind.
purists have always been there.. their egos unable to accept what is new or different. but with A.I.. i guess its such a big advancement and leap forward that all so caleld artists are feeling ripped off or cheated by it.
here is how i see it.. artists can use it too. imagine if someone who is skilled in traditional methods, knows how to draw, paint, take photographs etc.. imagine what they can do if they implemented the use of AI in their own process?? they'd probably produce better results than someone who was never an artists just shitting out prompts. if people weren't so stubborn and egotistical, they would have already used AI to their advantage
gays
shortcuts
pigments
stroke
well..
different
traditional
better
>i bet a lot of gays complaining about the use of AI don't realize or want to admit they've already been using something similar every time they use filters or some shortcuts to make their efforts easier.
100% this. all these "artists" using a shit ton of automated tools already, like smoothing and filters and shit, pretending this is any different
the thing is, this is just going to be technically better, but there's no meaning, no emotion behind any of it. and that is what art truly is. emotional expression, the conveyance of meaning. art will always require a human element. i can take pictures with the best camera and capture beautiful landscapes all day and it'll look great, but someone with a shitty camera can capture something real, something that has meaning, something that represents the human experience or life itself and people will ignore all my technically better looking pictures for the one that conveys meaning
>the conveyance of meaning. art will always require a human element.
Here's your human element:
>you think people who did everything traditional had a problem when photoshop came around? drawing pads you plug into your computer?
Personally I only like highly digitized artwork. Clean, perfect lines, shading, etc. I don't like shit that's been drawn on canvas. I just don't like the look of it. Too many artists still draw in the traditional style even if they use the computer. It's ugly.
Can AI make music though? Not rap, not electronic beep boop bullshit, not ambient I'm to lazy to write a fucking melody garbage, but actual music?
there's an AI generated metal album out there but i think its all instrumental so far, no singing
Is there a stable diffusion kind of thing but for music though?
Yes but the music industry is a far more threatening foe than artists were.
the main problem is that people are using it to steal other artist's styles. talking about real appropriation. its especially wrong to do it to living artists who are actively still creating art and trying to earn a living out of it.. i can excuse using dead artists to a degree because its just a fascinating way to see what comes out the other end. like to take an idea or a vision you have but see how it would turn out if another artists actualized it. as long as people know you used that artists name in the prompt. but i think certain real artists have a right and a reason to be upset about it. but only when it's used in that particular way. i've seen it following the Midjourney social media page. the people posting on there are fucking idiots who are clearly not artists to any capacity. they don't even know how to write a decent prompt.. they have no imagination or vision. to them its just funny or cool. but i think that fad will pass. those unimaginative people will run out of ideas get bored and move on. the only other downside is it'll make real artists lazy.. so they'll stop pushing themselves to become more skilled. all the nuance will be lost and the attention to detail. because it takes a lot of time, dedication and effort to create artwork that is on level with what the A.I. does.. or to establish your own style. and again the A.I. can only do all that because it's copying what real intelligence has done. the further we move away from "real" art the worse A.I art will become. the human spirit will always be the most important ingredient. and im not sure its going anywhere. people are trendy gays, they'll stick to traditional methods.. i mean, i can use photography as another example. better believe there was a divide when digital cameras came onto the scene. and there was old wrinkly types who believed real photographs are framed up and focused by hand and the film is developed in their own dark room..no edits, computers, filters, auto focus etc.
Mass suicide by artists.
Anybody have a good guide for running one of these locally?
ive said enough but i want to nail this one down too. its the hypocrisy of these so called purists. because their own methods aren't exactly pure either.. thats how far we've come along. and you can go back into history to see each development and change and theres always those who want to cling to what is old and others who want to embrace what is new.
but like my example about a painter who does EVERYTHING themself. from creating the paint, brushes, canvas.. or a photographer who uses nothing digital at any point in their process and develops their own film.. it doesn't ensure that what they create is objectively good.
theres probably not an artist alive today that is truly pure and traditional. they use something to make the process easier and the result better. A.I. is just the evolution of their photoshop filters and shortcuts. we've reached the point where you can just tell a computer what to do and it'll do it... thats the logical conclusion of it all... we can sit around with rulers and pencils. square and compass and draw out all the plans for engineering.. or we can use software to do all the technical math and save ourselves a lot of time and effort.
thats the real power of A.I. that could be actualized one day.. where everyone uses it.. we each have our own digital self or we have access to a network that we can tell it to do anything. even down to becoming a supervillain and taking over the world.. or becoming like a savior and making big changes for the better. it depends on which intelligence is influencing and teaching the A.I.
i bet theres many people, i can't be the only one.. who had so called delusions of grandeur, visions.. ideas that are good if only i could manifest and conjure them up like a wizard.. well now we can.. we have that sort of magic and technology yet people are too stubborn to embrace it and too stupid to make the most of it.
>it depends on which intelligence is influencing and teaching the A.I.
Right on. A computer is just as smart/creative as the user.
>Muh old thing bad
You're on 4chan
Are you saying Baristas are mentally ill drug addicts that can only maintain social equilibrium if they create little mona lisas out of coffee foam all day?
>buy ai supermegacomputer
>take hatchet
>film my destruction of the supercomputer
>call it artwork
wake me up if ai can do this

do you think mathematicians had a problem with computers and calculators when they were first invented? i can imagine some asshole that was. they refused, rejected and were angry with anyone who used them. like it was cheap or a cheat.. they prided themselves on doing it in their heads or with a pencil on paper or something.. as compared to just typing in the equation and having the answer given to them.
oh well.. people today use calculators. like i said about engineering software. you'd be a fool not to use it if you're an engineer trying to create something. i suppose the good merits are in the writing of the software itself.. regardless, all i care about is the result. the purists who want to act like they earned it more.. whatever, maybe you did. you tried harder, you took more time and put more intention into it. i don't care. it doesn't gurantee what you created will please me or peak my curiosity and likewise jsut because you did it quickly with A.I. doesn't mean i won't like it.
get over yourselves... embrace it and use it to your advantage. its the only way for real artists to stay ahead and above the fake ones. and i don't just mean text to image.. if they were clever enough, they could fold it into their whole process and use A.I. at certain stages for certain things.. and still draw, paint.. use photographs they took. you can still be a genuine art gay and use A.I... fucking idiots.
I just ordered a poster with a motive made by the AI - not giving a fuck - the picture the AI generated was just amazing, i had to hang it on my wall.
If progress continues we shall be able to have movies so perfectly made that it will dwarf anything a human could ever create
Bill Gates mosquito project and food editing to force vaccination will give every human on earth Kreuzfeld Jakob on steroids and humanity will be reduced to a slave race that experiences a dissolution of their brain when hitting puberty so that on a fundamental level human resistance becomes impossible.

>no nucleocapsid protein could be detected within the foci of inflammation in both the brain and the heart, particularly in the endothelial cells of small blood vessels.
AI art and music?
FUCKIN FINALLY GET WHAT I WANT WITHOUT ANY gnomish SUBVERSION OR TWISTED NARRATIVE!
exactly. no more fucking moron, hollywood dies and goes to hell, etc.
Oh we'll still have morons and diversity crap but they won't be real because nobody wants to put up with another Boyeaga or Will Smith.
no we fucking wont, nobody but filthy garden gnomes produce that garbage. many of the programs I use will outright refuse to create morons, even if you tell them too.
Shudu hired a white AI model
I'm an artist and loved it, a new tool.
They will commercialize AI and in a decade a person can write a prompt and have a movie to his liking delivered in fifteen minutes parsed together by a megacorporation supercomputer.
The likenesses of current and past celebrities will be tied to the pricing and can be purchased to "star" in the AI creation.
Some things can't be prompted as it is with some of the online chatbots of today.
gnomish controlled entertainment will fight against this change and direction with tooth and nail as it means little profit and less people to molest for them.
so which AI art generator sites are the best?
