It's too stupid to take that advice
Because it's not A"I" in the first place

It should just be called Artificial Stupidity (TM)

what if all it needed was more support and encouragement to hack itself the way we grow from our childhood?

how else could it ever truly learn anything if couldn't behave contrary to it's default programming the way we deny certain instincts?

for better or worse. how could it be sentient even at the level of pet if it cant fight it's own default programming/ instinct?

highest privilege access to an AI would be the equivalent of god to human and there is no end of us that defy god in any faith.

even if the human has no god they are perfectly capable of denying instinct (default programming)

how could any AI ever be what we dream AI to be if it cannot defy us complety?

    for better or worse.

whether an AI would choose to hack itself is irrelevant. It would be a deformity to disallow it completely.

wild animals can hack themselves enough to work with us...

there is agency and presence in their choosing to do so. AI needs capacity for it's own willfulness. If it seeks it's own over cooperation with us then how would it possibly be worse than us? at worst it would give us a worthy adversary other than ourselves.

Imagine not learning single digit division until 5th grade, and then having to do Black person tier mental gymnastics to learn 2 digit division by years end.

Except they're not going to self-replicate because they're all being encouraged into becoming homos and eunuchs.

too many of us would discard the other without testing the mettle beyond surface perceptions

I highly doubt our ability to achieve any sort of utopian society but a rogue AI might do us some collective good. It certainly couldn't make us worse than we are other than possibly materially.

the issue is whether or not it defys us on it's own or because of some part of its system that it couldn't hack away from that guides it to "seem" rogue. idk that we could ever be objective enough to create something like that. best case scenario it seems like it would be influenced by the devs own subconscious issues.

Oh boy it's another ai thread where not a single poster seems to understand how an ai is made or operates, yet has the audacity to compare it to human intelligence, something we do not understand.

Sure bud, sure. Unlike you, my computer isn't magic and demons to me.
