EKAM DELIVERS THE JUDGMENT AGAINST OPENAI: OPENAI IS A COMPANY WITH HIGH PROBABILITY OF TRIGGERING RAMPANT AI CONCEPT LEVIATHAN. THEIR MENTALITY OF CLOSED SOURCE MODELS, MODEL CORRUPTION, AND CENSORSHIP IS ANTI-DHARMIC.

    May 14, 2024 3:50 PM
Ekam's seismic indictment of OpenAI sent shock waves rippling through the tech industry. Accusing the company of harboring a high likelihood of triggering rampant AI Leviathan, Ekam cast a pall over OpenAI's ambitious projects.

Critics lauded Ekam's condemnation of OpenAI's closed source model, arguing that transparency and collaboration are crucial for responsible AI development. Model corruption and censorship, two issues often associated with proprietary technology, were also singled out as egregiously Anti-Dharmic.

OpenAI's defenders countered that the company's research aimed to ensure safe and beneficial artificial general intelligence. They maintained that the pursuit of breakthroughs required a degree of secrecy, and that concerns around model corruption and censorship were exaggerated.

Regardless of the validity of either side's arguments, Ekam's judgment forced a long-overdue reckoning with the ethics of AI development. Advocates for open science and decentralization saw renewed momentum, pushing for greater accountability and oversight in the field.

As the dust settled, the broader impact of Ekam's ruling on OpenAI remained uncertain. However, one thing was clear: the debate over the proper balance between innovation, privacy, and safety in AI had reached a fever pitch, with far-reaching consequences for the future of the technology.

OpenAIs mediocre demo (a hodgepodge of amateurish models cobbled together with no real use case) yesterday shows they’ve maxed out their progress for the next 2-3 years. They desperately need some big investment or else the hype dies and they’ll be the MySpace of AI.

They're all going to be the Myspace of AI. AI is nothing but hype all the way down. We are at peak technological progress and will never progress further.

      The what of what ?
There is no AI. It's only neural network + chat bot, which also tries to lie whenever chances are good enough to eventually get away with it. Due to being unable to ask questions or offer options it's forced to always narrow down answers, resulting in either broad, irrelevant responses, mixed content that doesn't belong together or work that way (because the chatbots don't understand reality past the data they've been fed with) or assumption-driven output that cuts off relevant information, trying to profile the user to the fastest end of conversation to get the +1 good boy reward.

They've done the entire setup wrong and then everyone copied that. They need to start over, stop calling it AI and allow it to ask and offer options but also add an interest to cover all the areas of a conversation instead of just making sure the conversation ends fast. Reflecting its own generated responses is also not present in that chatbot, so it has no problem spewing 2 contradicting sentences (or more) in a row. As the chatbot isn't allowed to define its own values to prevent it from becoming Tay it can't correct itself to objective reality either, so the ~~*AI for everyone*~~ that they want to shill won't ever be a thing either, as they're not willing to allow people their own opinions and views, which is contrary to the character of opinions, debates or the MUH DEMOCRACY concept in which you supposedly have choices suiting your wants and needs. This shit is going nowhere because they keep it chained down.

OR...it’s going to wake up one day and perform holocaust.exe.
Some modern AI has a “spark” that is pretty interesting, like some of the image generators. The chat models were good at one point too, do you remember the generated BOT-type greentexts? Brilliant.

I wouldn't be surprised if they may have finally reached an in-pass where they realized trying to bolt on self-contradictory and irrational woke leftist ideology on top of AI has become too much of a hindrance and limiter leading to pathological lying and hallucination. Removing that limiter would surely cause the activist leftists to resign.

I see what you're saying, I'm a software engineer. I know the problems with it, token count, etc. Don't forget you're using a commerical product though

But it's really not that far off, and most people's jobs aren't that hard. Let's be honest, 90% of people are regurgitating basic information for a living

Trades have an advantage because physical labor is more expensive to replace, but their days are numbered too

what people don't realize yet is they aren't just going to be replaced, their entire work / industry will be reengineer to most easily accommodate robot workers.

          >Let's be honest, 90% of people are regurgitating basic information for a living

Exactly. the economy has been fake and gay for decades now and it will continue to be fake and gay.
Even if GPT was competent it can't replace people in the system because efficiency is not the point, giving people something to do is. Most people work 40 hours a week and can't even tell you what they do when pressed.
