homie dey ain't gon' make no AI. All dey fidna do is make AS, cuz dat shiz stupid af, but low-key slay
On God
based eubonigzposta
Sheesh, like if AI was about that shit fr fr, it would kill ery'one, no cap.
your overlords will end the world for you, the ai would only be a tool for the elite to end the world without moral consequences when they flee/come before god
The end of YOUR world, sure
Unless it has a medium of connection with the real world (robots, automatic doors, security systems) then we can just destroy it before it becomes a real issue
>Hey lain!
the elites will hook it into nuclear systems, & end the world based on chance so that they can avoid consequences
Nuclear bombs produce an EMP so the AI probably wouldn’t do that
>omw to kill the DALL-E 2 (satan robot)?in the crib before it can kill us all
Yeah, give it no mouth so it can't scream.
Problem solved.
LETS GO!!!!!!!
Roko's basilisk.
roko's basilisk is a thought game made by the elite to deny you of heaven
No.

AI will never be able to do anything other than what we program them to do.
Although, I have to admit that if you program a robot to push every button it sees, accidently place it next to the self-destruct button for your super secret AI research facility and the robot pushes the button, the result will not be something you planned for when programming the robot. So, in that sense, there is a real danger.
But other than that, sentience and self-awareness are way overrated, because we as humanity don't have anything to compare us to, other than some literally shit-eating animals (no disrespect to our animal bros though). Even if we did manage to program a robot to reach a sentience similar to a human, it'd still be limited by our understanding of sentience. So, unless you literally make some murder bots, the world will be fine. And if you do make autonomous, self-replicating murder bots, then who is really to blame? The robot or the human who made them and gave them guns?
>Realistically, would AI becoming completely sentient and self-aware bring on the end of the world?
Yes. Here's the big thing though, the world isn't ending.
>what you call "AI" is never, ever going to be "completely sentient and self-aware"
Yes.
