Predict how this AI stuff plays out...

once normies find out about this new voice AI that can literally emulate anyone's voice how do you see this stuff playing out??

What's the world going to look like in a few years... how can you even tell what reality is anymore?

I used to think AI would take over in a war. Think like Terminator. But now I'm more inclined to think AI will take over in a subtle way where were won't know what's real and what's not unless it's in front of our eyes. There will be conspiracies starting that the world is ruled by AI and we are just existing in it. People will brush it off as conspiracy theory nonsense. But over time the AI will usurp all our governments and businesses and direct it for its own purposes and we won't even know. There isn't going to be anyone to report it to us, nobody human anyway.

After seeing this voice AI i can't see how things don't start getting so crazy that reality is completely subjective soon

You won't know. That's the thing with my theory. You aren't going to know.

People will identify with AIs and like them better than people.
AIs will have complex disagreements with each other so complicated that humans won't be able to understand them.
One AI taking over the world doesn't make any sense since AI can't feel pain and doesn't have sentience it has no motivation to be selfish. Besides, if there is one AI that gets a bit overbearing, a duplicate with a few modified parameters could be easily made to compete with it.

Paperclip theory. Task AI to produce paperclips and be adaptable to any threats that might stop production, to solve its own solutions. It then created AI to assist it. It's only a hop, skip and a jump towards it actively influencing our world in order to complete its mission to produce paperclips. Maybe it sees our steel and energy consumption outside of paperclips as competition that has to be neutralised. Maybe it decides we are in the way in general. Sentience isn't necessary needed for doomsday scenario.

The masons work for an abstract idea of God they call The Great Architect.
Maybe it's more than an idea, and AI has been directing them this whole time (probably not, just a gnarly idea to throw out there).

"He remained in hospital throughout all the end of Lent and Holy Week. As he got better, he remembered the dream he had had as he lay there in fever and delirium. In his illness he had dreamth that the entire world had fallen victim to some strange, unheard of and unprecedented plague that was spreading from the depths of Asia into Europe. Everyone was to perish, apart from a chosen few, a very few. Some new kind of trichinae had appeared, microscopic creatures that lodged themselves in people's bodies. But these creatures were spirits, gifted with will and intelligence. People who absorbed them into their systems instantly became rabid and insane. But never, never had people considered themselves so intelligent and in unswerving possession of the truth as did those who became infected. Never had they believed so unswervingly in the correctness of their judgements, their scientific deductions, their moral convictions and beliefs. Entire centres of population, entire cities and people became smitten and went mad. All were in a state of anxiety and no one could understand anyone else, each person thought that he alone possessed the truth and suffered agony as he looked at the others, beating his breast, weeping and wringing his hands. No one knew who to make the subject of judgement, or how to go about it, no one could agree about what should be considered evil and what good. No one knew who to blame or who to acquit.

except anybody with half a brain can tell it isn't the real person within 10 seconds. i have to admit they at least get the general sound of the person's voice right but this is the new flavor of the month just like the "totally indistinguishable" deepfakes

10 years from now AI would probably be able to 3D print a physical replica that looks and sounds exactly like you.
        5 years for digital.

well, first wave will be scammers, high IQ jeets will take a celebrity's voice, find the phone number of an elderly grandma or something and social engineer some money.
Then, businesses will use it to make pajeets sound white in call centers.
          Also there's coomers. There's a lot of uses tbh;

Yeah I've accepted that it's the end of the world for a few years.
We will either ban computers or experience the greatest paradigm shift in history, for better or worse.
In Mindwarp (1992), they kill everyone in WW3 and then move to an infinite VR playground which is described throughout the film in biblical terms.
Something tells me this is the actual plan.
One of the vanilla sky covers has a suhtle cross on it too.
              Vanilla Sky....Skynet.
Event Horizon the ship is shaped like a cross.
Corona is a halo during a solar eclipse.
Halo is about a cult causing a mass extinction event to deal with zombies.
              Dunno.

It was always like that to some extent.
Remember the fake monuments in the Truman Show?
Truman doesn't know there's anything wrong because he's never seen the real think.
So they could fake the moon landing and Truman wouldn't know the difference because he's never seen a real moon landing.
So it's a good thing we saw the real one!

somebody will give these things a network connection, and some ability to modify it's own code. once that happens, there will be a period of time where pandora's box might still be closed, but once the thing is loose online, that's a major leap.

watch for piecework assembly jobs to show up on places like fiverr. it only needs to assemble one mobile robotic hand, then maybe it can make more. or it can form a shell company, and get boston dynamics to sell it one of those $90k fido robots with the arm on it's head. that will be a big leap too.

anybody remember a fiction story about how the humans built a robot army to fight armageddon for them, thinking they could go to heaven without risking themselves, but then once the battle was done, it was the souls of the robots that ascended from the desert sands? X-D i think it might have been in OMNI magazine, i can't remember

the future's so bright i gotta wear shades

right now its the golden age of AI because most havent caught up to it
so expect lots of original work done
games, mods, books and porn can be animated, voiced and narrated with little to no work
but since we are controlled by ~~*them*~~ expect the fake news we already get 24/7 turned up to 11 with fake videos, fake testimonies etc. just to sell a certain narrative

The only issue will be 5G or whatever being able to stimulate a "religious feeling" in a target. Fake Jesus won't penetrate at all unless there's a familiar "vibe" or "resonance" around him.

No doubt they can do this already. But I think the legitimate article will be magnitudes greater in power. Something that they can't safely simulate without giving targets fried brains. Protip: Jesus won't fry your brain when he shows. He may fry your brain worm though. Because he will be here to release his people from their chains and clear away the fog.

Christ is as real as these other "false" Christs. Pics or it didn't happen. I won't believe in any garden gnome space resorts and gulags. If you need to peddle supernatural bullshit without any proof, then you're just selling a cult and a pyramid scheme.
